i checked it hellafella :) awesome!

latelly ive been making lots of clones and planting seeds.. set up for a fat winter grow.. but as the electricity price has gone up even more, i can not afford to have multiple flowering rooms.. its been kind of sucky to cut down on the grow area, but shit is not real. it would be cheaper for me to buy weed than to grow it.

its fucked up, but im still going for it, just a bit less than before..

really happy this far with the ssh/ptk x beeniemans choice f3.. i got growing a whole lot of seedlings of it so i will do a more throughrough testing during winter.

also the powerplant/ssh/lp is becoming a favorite cut. i planted more seeds of it also to see if i find even better phenos, but this cut im keeping now is a really good producer of very resinous nugs. the high is very sativa, cant expect other with the lineup of genetics. the best part is that it is not too long flowering. i got one big plants in the flowering room now, and i got an other monster ready in veg for flowering asap..

diva-g/Lp is also a really nice cross made by cloneman, and i think i managed to find a keeper cut of it too..

ill come back in an other moment with a complete list of all that i planted for this winter.. anyhow, since i cut back on flowering rooms, it takes longer time to go thru the vegged plants, so i will propably not plant more seeds untill spring or maybe even later.

with the cold weather we are having latelly, cloning is taking ages, but atleast the cuts are not rotting, since it seems to be more likelly to happen in warmer conditions... anyhow i did cut clones of all of my moms, so on the side of the seedlings i will be throwing in known cuts so that i got flavours to compare with the new genetics.

blockberry/beeniemans is the only cross im kind of not happy with, but its not because of the effect or the results, since its top notch, but i havent gottent any of the plants this far to give good viable clones. i never seen anything like it before. it jsut doesnt clone well.. last year 5 clones were vegging during 4 months but didnt get vegging properly, so i decided to not to keep that mom. anyhow, i planted the last seeds of it i had left, and maybe with luck i will find a new mom soon, that actually will clone. if not, doesnt matter. cant keep all nice phenos one comes over...

anyhow im right now smoking some jackflash(jaggen) x SSH/PTK , a cross i made many years back, but i havent explored it much at all yet. but last spring i gave some seeds of it to a friend who planted it outdoors and today i came over with a few nugs :D

im glad i planted the remianing lot of those seeds about a month ago :) so i will be looking for a nice mom in the lot :D

absolutelly topclass smoke :)

so nice and sunny here this winter.. beeing working like crazy outside in the garden. amazing how much more time off i got now since i took away one of the flowering rooms. less stress but also less nugs..

Yeah man, it's already pretty hot here during the daytime. It's sure to get hotter, though...sounds like a good plan. Hope it comes together nicely for you, bro.

hear you on the heat bonecarver, brings on so much unnecessary grief!....got some hazes that will need to be getting a move on, and then there's the drying too fast etc etc....lol fun and games indeed :dance013:

hm maybe i should do a small update? been activelly avoiding to sit down in my office latelly... buzy buzy

anyhow in flowering i got a whole lot of my own crosses, and the veg area is full, waiting to turn into a temporary flowering area..

the plants im growing atm is;

POWERPLANT/SSH/LOVEPOTION - a really nice motivational and creative high. some plants are very big yielders and all finish around 2 months.

JAGGEN x SSH/PTK/PTK - strong smoke, showing mostly sativa traits. very potent around 9-10 weeks flowering. very interesting cross, some friends tried it outdoors last year with almost legendary results. i will propably continue this line. very big tall plants. good producers!

SSH/PTK x Beeniemans choice F2 and F3 - fun to grow two separate generations of one cross sidebyside.. this is my favorite allday smoke. massive headmangle, but with a buzz and enough relaxing to to be almost too heavy for summer heat.. fast flowering 8 weeks..


also im flowering some back crosses of the above cross to the mother: SSH/PTK x SSH/PTK/beeniemans and in the first generation the PTK side of things have greatly reduced the size of the plant, and even though i like the smoke, im not sure its what i really im looking for, but since its a VERY compact plant with almost no branching and the high is great im keeping it saved for later. never know when you might need a good yielder for a sea of green with high plant count/m2...

also im flowering a few blockberry x beeniemans, its a nice cross but its not fond of rooting when cloned, this far in my life the most slowest cuts to root and to get vegging i ever seen. tasty, amazing sweet berry/tropical fruit/dead animal smell with a enormous resin coverage. very good smoke though..

last ill mention the only cross im trying atm that i havent made myself, is the HERRI ALIBI of medjool. compared to my crosses, it hits me it has a really long flowering. maybe around 90 days or so. about 1 month ago i thought it was starting to finish.. lol it still has a good time left to go! BUT it seems like most of its production has started now, with a lot of foxtailing in the tips. the resin gland size seems smaller than what im used to, but it shouldnt mean anything. flowering next to my stinky crosses, i cant figure out if the herri alibi has some specific aroma or not. i think i will have to wait and see, it might come later?

ill see if ill dig my camera out of storage and do some nug pics one of these days..

dramamine - yeah man, same here! seems like it will be a hot one this summer again...


womble - try putting in a few buckets with water in the drying room, it might help to push up the humidity a little bit and make the drying slightly slower :)

glad to see you still at it. I would dig having a look at the PP.SSH.LP cross. Maybe find a lemony colombian expression to outcross back into the line from the LP side of things if you still have some of the old LP beans?

looks like the pinetar plants are your staples after a few years outside...nice.

the PP/SSH/LP is a fruity smelling cross, a lot of the smell comes from the PP cut used. i still havent explored all of this cross and im planning to F2 it in the future.

i do not have any LP beans.

update - im coming to an end of this season of test growing, and before the summer heat sets in i hope to switch of the grow for a while, but still keeping my moms. i have tried as many of my latest and earlier crosses possible, so i have not made any more seeds this winter at all, nor any new crosses.

all crosses i tried out this far have all been satisfactory, and now its time to plan the next steps for those that need to be re-produced.
