GROW CONTEST WINNER: 30 Sour Bubble Trees, 20 Gallon Smartpots, 10K Sealed!

PK. You kill it man! Love watching your grows, sucks about the SB, but I feel you on the price point issue. It's why I grow for myself, clubs can have some good stuff, and I'd be willing to throw down, but so much garbage is sold as top and so many growers are tired of even trying. I don't blame any farmer for the greedy clubs

Back to... your strain list looks amazing. I'm just trying to run 2 or 3 strains for now. Still looking for the right sativa.

Mack10- haha thanks man, nice to have some new proven flavors to try out. Always nice to have well connected friends :)

Hempluvr- thanks you. I am testing the new girls out and if anyone is worthy of a large scale run it will be done. Probably ChemD has the best chance really but we shall see.

IDO- you are the man bro, you never fail to come through with the bombastic. THANKS

Infinitesimal- I never mind sharing, sharing is caring. Those are looking flawless, what day were those taken?

Burning Tree- I know, true headbanger. The numbers aren't what is the most frustrating, I can deal with 32 all day. It is just the whole point, when your AAA organic bomb ass shit is fetching the same as trash. I will never stop offering a superior product but low yielding connisuer shit is out the door int he 10K unless people pay for it. I'm not greedy, just not stupid.

VapedOutJoe- hey thanks alot glad you like following along. I love sharing with everyone here even though it can be some work to do a good job. Thanks I agree the strain list as it stands is pretty outstanding, not much to want really. I will take the Black Domina cut and I think that would finish it up.

Alright I started a new thread for the Deathbublee girls, they deserve their own little spot. I will still be sharing lots of shit here I just wanted to post a link here so no one that follows this thread misses their finish.

Deathbubble day 57 update all 10 plants:

PK, you ever get a dedicated water line ran out to the barn? I'm gonna move out to my pole barn but still trying to figure the water out.
I think hauling five gallon buckets from the house would get old lol. You still just running a hose when you need a refill?

Nope no water ran out there and I will never need it. I have 150 gallons of RO in my basement, I use a large water pump to pump it through 350 foot of commercial hose on a nice reel out to the barns 500 gallon storage tank. I think I have went up to 4 months without having to run water out there and I have never had it over the 300 gallon mark. Right now I am adding water, usually after a harvest it needs a topoff after taking all the wet material and soil out. It at max is a once every 2 week thing and then you get a nice supply going again and you can go a long while. Some days if I have to water everything I can water up to 175gallons +. I also use it for mopping and stuff to, and I loose water when I mix to much in my barrels and have to dump leftovers. The grass out front is going to be looking real nice in the summer.

haha, similiar circumstances! My grass by the barn is gonna be off the chain! I pump my water off the back the Washer 200' to the barn then pumped through wands.. All my lines outside are frozen @ 10,000ft. bitches gotta drink

They also call this garden hose pimpin' .

Update pics of the big show? I'm at 5 weeks on the 20 gallon room. Do you think you could of filled bigger pots? I got pearly whites pushing through the bottom of these 20's.

Much love

One thing I have noticed though that I don't like is people are not willing to pay for quality, at all. It is very discouraging and that is why the current round of sour bubble in flower is my last on this scale. People want everything for 32 whether it is straight trash or out of this world. I am going to start running stuff with higher yields since the market won't pay for the good shit. The only thing for me to worry about is quality for my patients after that the general market can get what they pay for. It will still be quality but I am going for max production, so whatever I find yielding the most on a yearly basis is going to be ran. Why would I produce a Mercedes if you are going to pay the same price as a Kia? Thats my attituide towards that, touchy subject....

Pretty sad that people wont pony up the cash for the goods these days PK. There was a time not long ago where we could ask whatever we wanted for premium stash and get it, but the whole economy has been trashed by the big money corruption.

Our "family" gets pure Sour Bubble and they love it, but what you said above illustrates why we experiment with Sour Bubble hybrids so much. We are always trying to infuse Sour Bubbles goodness into larger yielding new strains. Bushy himself saw the value in it also. Many of our new Witches Weed x Sour Bubble combo's are killing it with the yield and customer satisfaction.

Keep up the great work PK. Almost brings tears to my eyes looking at that tight pack garden. I absolutely love it. Thank You!

Third Coast- The market always wants quality, and if it is demanding it more I wouldn't be surprised people should be getting better around here as far as growing and purchasing good nugs. Its an evolving thing. I couldn't tell you myself though, I don't really handle much at all and the stuff I do handle I hear nothing but good things. I pretty much just grow it I don't mess with the distribution side much.

Kinda funny. In my area, prices on bulk have tanked, but small qty's are the same price as always. 32 for dank is way over priced, in my area. A short 4 years ago, it was the going rate... Try 22-24 now.

Turbo14- yeah garden hose pimpin lol! Do you mean could I have used bigger pots? Yes I could fit 40+ gallons if I needed to I am sure, but my back says don't. Luckily I have had a laborer lately for all the shit that I don't like doing as much as working with the plants. He has been lugging out the old pots and dumping them for me, mixing my soil, helping trim, running bubble hash, and doing the cleaning after and in between runs. I pay fairly and he works hard it is nice. Good to hear your room is moving along, any pics? When I move my pots sometimes I rip roots that have taken a liking to the pond liner under the pot. I only have to move 4 plants to water the whole room so I don't rip em all.

northernkush- Hell no I don't mind, here to help like so many before me.

The Phoenix- Good to see you Phoenix. For me that time was not long ago, as soon as the dispensarys shut down the price dropped 33%. Kind of ass backwards I know, but they were willing to pay for quality. My close peeps will have sour bubble forever as well, my patients wouldn't stand for it! I hear you on raising the yield, my ecsd x sour bubble keeper thus far yields very well. If you can strengthen the structure of a nice sativa or hybrid and makes the nugs dense like sour bubble but retain the yield of the sativa/hybrid you are in for a treat. Sour bubbles structure pretty much wins me over, everything else I want to feel and look like like sour bubble but taste different, veg faster, and yield better. Thanks for stopping by always good to see you, and thanks for the fine compliments.

Tonygreen- Ra tards

Ubi- yeah things will balance out eventually once people know what the hell there doing when they by smoke. Still alot of locals here getting educated.

RomulusUsa- Yeah same thing, I am sure the last person to get rid of it is getting normal prices.

Sorry for the lack of updates IC, it was nice to take a little break through the Holiday season. I am on here alot but sometimes it is nice not to have to upload 50+ pictures and type out 2000 word post. Maintaining a thread is hardwork if you want to do it right.

So anyways I am going to get you all some pictures of what is going on in the next few days.

Currently:

I just harvested my deathbubble, pics and smoke reports coming soon.

10K Flower- Sour Bubble day 35, doing great.

1K Flip/Flop A- ECSD x Sour Bubble Day 50, doing awesome, best run yet

1K Flip/Flop B- SFV OG, Ghost OG, King Louie OG, Chem91, Chem D SFV x ChemD Day 1

Veg- 24 Katsu Bubba Kush in 20 gallon

Flip/Flop Veg- SFV OG, Ghost OG, King Louie OG, Chem91, Chem D SFV x ChemD

Male Chamber- 6 seedlings of Katsu Bubba Kush x Sour Bubble bx4 #11, I am open pollenating back on to a katsu bubba kush clone. So I am making katsu bubba kush bx1, and f2s of katsu bubba kush x sour bubble bx4 #11.

Today I made a nice upgrade, I got a Santa Fe Max Dry Dual XT dehumidifier. Also I am in the process of ordering a 4K light panel with PLC, high temp shutoff, hot start delay, just like my big one. I am going to use my big panel, all 14K for flower, and the new 4K will be just for veg. This will put me at 16K flower, 4K veg, plus a few t5s. Next up is backup AC.

Anyways again sorry for the delay in updates, I will get some pics up soon.

Alright I have some stuff to share tonight, hopefully I get through it all. First off before I share the Deathbubble harvest shots I want to say that 10 packs of these seeds (5 seeds per pack) will be available soon on the BAY for the 420 Cup Fundraiser. I know its not much but it wasn't a production seed run these were personal and I decided to part with a few in good spirits of spreading the love. Please support the IC crew responsible for setting everything up, from venues to awards.

Also 20 packs of my Sour Bubble F2's will be available, by the blessing of BOG himself. Each pack contains 12 seeds, 4 seeds from each female. One female was my mother. 3 males were used. They are bx3 f2s, bx4 f2s, and a cross of bx3 x bx4. Also all plants used were from Bog's orginal return release.

Ok so on to the Deathbubble harvest. First off, each and every plant was a winner as far as quality. Everyone had a sic layer of frost. Harvest was from 60-74 days. I didn't keep any to save some room in my numbers but I plan to run a much larger pool of seedlings sometime soon or test my two SB bx3 males on the deathstar and see what that brings. Either way the cross imo was a winner.

DB #10- Frosty ass plant, fruity in smell, smooth smoke, taste doesn't translate as much as I would like. She was lanky and a low yielder of high quality.

DB#9- Sour Bubble dom mostly, except veg and yield was the best in the room. Smelled ecsd'ish in mid flower but changed to a more bubba chocolate smell. Reminds me alot of my ecsd x sour bubble cross.

DB #3- This was the fastest, done around 56-60 days. I didn't get trim shots but I got dry shots. Very much like my sour bubble except the plant was very weak stemmed/floppy and it yielded very low. Still she is tasty and a frost beast.

DB #5- My favorite, if I kept any this would be the one. A very nice sour smell flavor with some chemmyness mixed in, the smell she leaves in the room is unique much like the sour bubble and she does the trick.
