Looking for some advice from anyone who has run donuts. I have a 22' by 13' foot area which is a garage. I framed off one end for better insulation and odor control. It has concrete floors and cinder block walls. Temperature stays under 85 even in summer and 3kilowatt lights.
My question is can I fit two 1k donuts and a veg area in that space? I will be running under 10 trees. I have an adjoining room with duct work already set up that I used for veg before. My reason for wanting to house everything in the one larger space is heat exchange and better odor control. Last time I ran plants I had two 450cfm fans exhausting and a smaller intake fan. The front porch smelled like a pack of skunks had died in a perfume factory until I tacked up plastic to cover the ceiling beams as a vapor lock.

your 22x13 is 286 sq ft, my 29x9 is 261 sq ft. i have 12 large plants in there now.

my old veg area was 7x7 49 sq ft and i had up to 8 plants in it perpetual but mostly i ran 5-6. it was tight but workable.

i think the 22x13 divided into 1/3 for veg and 2/3 for flower would be about right.

I flower (2) 1600 watt donuts in 10.25 X 7 foot area.

If you set them up side by side and made each room 6.5 X 7 foot you would still have the other 2/3's of the area for veg.

My last two runs in these rooms produced 67.5 and 66 with plants that are not supper heavy producers. I ran 6 plants in each room.

?

OK OK...
Boy when you say we owe you a thread you ain't friggin' around. Sorry I've been slacking on this thread. Work has increased and meant more travel than normal but I'm not complaining:)

I have the joy of 11 new Sour 13s from Greenthumb but my buddy ran into credit card problems on the CBD seeds..I'm starting anyway.

I guess it's good that I didn't start chopping PVC yet. Tri-podded feeder trays and corn chuckin vacuum/blowers. So...with the triplicate tailpipes and/or larger diameter than 1.5", is rinsing the fines still needed? Plus I wish there was a consensus on which is superior for ease of handling...turface vs. Floor-Dri.

Don't send Guido after me just yet:biggrin:

i'm going to straight turface screened but the 8822 looks ok. i still don't like the fragility of it. once i wet it i could crush it with my hand. but i grew my personal best in atami loose fill straight.

out of all the seeds i have gone through i have only found 2 plants that i want for production. a dope and a sour 13. i've got monster phenos of each. a lot of people are scared of the dope, cracks me up! "i can't handle it" it's too strong" whaaaaa! punk ass bitches!
