I have a question, and this thread seems to be the best place to ask. What is the best way to smoke hash, if taste is your no.1 priority.
Joints - I use 0.5 - 0.7 grams of hash mixed with a cigarette (white marlboro). I grind the hash with a grinder I keep in my fridge (this is a must, if the hash is really sticky i leave it in the fridge for 5-10 mins as well), which makes it really powdery and easy to mix into the tobacco. The heat from my fingers makes the powdered hash stick to the tobacco, after a few minutes of mixing all the powder is "absorbed" and can`t be seen anymore. This gives the me a really nice taste, and the joint allows me to keep on puffin to enjoy the taste.
Vaporizer - I use the oilpad that came with the easy valve-kit for my Volcano. I grind it in the same way as for joints, to get a bigger surface area for the heat to work on. This gives more of a generic taste, and the uniqueness of the different kinds of hash I try doesn`t really come through. It feels much more clean and healthy though.
Bong - I use a nice and clean glass bong. Since you inhale directly into the lungs, as opposed to smoking from a vape or a joint, the taste doesn`t get a chance to linger in my mouth. I feel there are many similarities between fine wine and cannabis. Smoking from a bong feels like drinking bottoms up, where there is more focus on getting high than exploring the taste. I haven`t really experienced that much with hash in my bong, because of the experiences I`ve had with weed. A weedjoint without tobacco tastes 10 x better than the same weed in a bong.
The thing is, everyone hates on tobacco. I understand this for smoking weed, but not for hash. Clearly I must be doing something wrong, and as I want to be able to smoke hash withouth the tobacco, I ask you guys what you think about this. I could have started my own thread, but this seems like the best place to get input from the hash aficiandos on this forum
