You can see that budset has started already. Theyve been building for a week. I think its coming down by the 1st of February.

The ladies are growing beautifully. LC and MM#1 are 20" tall, MM#2 and #3 are 18" and 19" respectively, and SLH is trucking right along, standing tall at 23".

Think I can keep this girl in line, with some bondage, at about 40"? We shall see.

The ommission of Superthrive and the inclusion of Protekt have my soil ph'ing 6.5 on the nose, every pot. I thought for sure Id be fucking around with this.

I dont know if its the genetics or the Protekt, but I swear my stalks have grown 50% thicker in the last 5 days. My last 2 grows - uh-uh.

Ummm... fed nutes yesterday, neem shower today, light water top off tonight.

Neem? Got bugs? Pm? No and I dont want any. When I started this round, I had decided to be proactive about keeping my plants protected from all the nasties. Knock on wood - only thing Ive seen in there so far was a solitary housefly.

Ya, man. It seems like I just got lucky on that one. Im not usually a lucky guy, I fear the universe conspires against me at this very moment.
Im not noticing the swings in ph (low 6s - high 6s) that I was having before switching things up.
Going with straight water next time and Ill ph a couple times again. Hopefully Ill get a lock-down on whats going on.

60"! Youre killing me. I hope not - Not unless I can keep her trained under 4'. Maybe I should shave her legs up a lil higher?

Hey bro just tuned in. I was researching others that are growing Midnight madness. I figure you and I are around the same timeline. I might be a week ahead of you. I'm at day 17 and my plant has nearly doubled in size since putting it outside on November 27th. Not sure how to post a link but check it out I got some pictures on my page. Your plants are looking really good man! Keep up the good work.

Well MM#1, which Im pretty sure is the Bertha (beefy plant that almost keeps up with the sativa dominant plants as far as the stretch has been going), is a Bert! Balls are clustering already.

Yup, I got 1 big ol' boy in my closet. I think Im going to chop off the tops to keep him in line. Then put him in a box with a bulb.

Sorry, y'all. A christmas celebration and some liquid holiday cheer kept me from last nights update. However I did take pics. So here we go...

SLH - Stretching like crazy already. Shes pushed past the 2' mark. Shes going to be a bit of challenge I think. First 3 pics show her training and the last is 2 days later.

Nice looking lady, CB. That girl looks closest to my MM#3 - the leaflets dont seem to be crowding each other for space on the whole fan, nice internodal spacing, with beautiful tight branch development that should lead to some major chunkage.

Im $ strapped right now but I think Im going to pick up 1 of those 2' under-cabinet flouros for the dude. Any opinions on if this will be sufficient? My choices considering space size/location are very limited.

Ive been trying to bend my SLH. Every time I go back in to check on it, the tops are sticking straight up again. I may have to bind the tops to a lower part on the same stem - think rope bondage

Hey brother, might I throw up a link to my rumpus room??.... I like to keep the males till around day 17 in the flower room, right before preflowers burst, and then I move them to the rumpus room, with 1 or 2 - 23w CFLS to collect pollen for two weeks or so... A power strip, plug to socket adapter, and a bulb... 5 bucks maybe... The rumpus room is just a wardrobe box (for holding clothes)...

Don't need much at all once flowering has already been initiated and stamen clusters have begun to form... Without fans or air movement, the pollen will simply fall to the ground under gravity...

Ya, thats Bert. Cut off his tallest parts so he would fit.

The space measures approx. 30h x 24w x 20d. I would need an ext. cord so Ill just bulb straight into that and hang it on the 'ceiling'.

Sweet deal, man. Im going to dust my SLH too - fo sho. Actually, I might just hit up all the ladies - gotta get while the gettings good. Know what I mean?

Sounds like you got a plan When ya dust, I find it easiest to just use my fingers, and apply that way.

Whether it be paintbrushes, cutips, or whatever other doodad you can imagine, I've always found there was a bit of stray pollen that can go airborn when applying. Rub some between your finger and thumb, and just rub the buds you want seeded, and there's little to no contamination elsewhere...

You're about to open a rat's nest of fun here brother, once ya see how easy it is to make your own crosses and beans... A whole other level to 'seed junkie'

I was planning on pulling each girl out to pollenate in an effort to keep stray pollen away from the space. Aint gonna do that with SLH - shes going to be 'the monster in the closet'.

When her time comes, Ill pull all the others out and shut down all circ/exhaust.

I hadnt thought of fingering the ladies - duh, no brainer.

I hear on the seed junky comment. Ive been thinking of making small batch crosses since I 1st considered growing.

So far Ive contented myself with making up names and figuring out what crosses would have to be made to make it. Or, thinking of crosses and trying to come up with a name for it. Its kinda fun.
