Alright, whos got stories, memories, nightmares? Anything relevant to detroit, cleveland and columbus party scene from 1995 to 2000. What parties do you remember? what sets rocked your world? Which tab was your favorite? How big were your pants? shit like that. You get the picture? Pictures, fliers, links, all of it.

at what was touted as the last ever packard plant party ed 'elemental' luna tore a security system off the wall and walked out with it. In detroit we had parties thrown by a guy (ne edit) who would put huge names on his flyers as headliner acts to get a shit load of door fees and then call the cops on his own parties to get them shut down before the night was even half waythru so no one would know he lied and that act was never coming. Super sleazy.

I remember being dosed at family affair 2 or 3 in cleveland and floating around in a bubble all weekend. I saw more kids crazy spun out at that party than any other (excluding the dumb asseswho seemed to manage to "g out" and get carried out at every detroit show). Scoops werent nearly as popular in columbus. Anyone remember titonton duvante doing the live orchestral techno sets? I only ever caught 1 and i stood the amazed the whole night. It was siiick.

nope nobody, all thoes old cats moved out west or quit the scene, but mention dubstep and this thread will get more hits

My homie was DJ at the Basement in Cleveland flats...he moved here to NY in 96, but knows the old school shit

im in the process of digitizing all of my thousands of flyers to post. as for pics, they all contain some form of illicit behaviour next to a persons face, that wont work. oh yeaH THE FLATS BABY! PEABODYS WAS THE SHIT!

Yo yo.. I have no stories of that era.. But I would gladly read yours man... I am a DJ, (Deep House, Tech House, pretty much all the stuff from Chicago and the Detriot Techno too), I'm really more of an enthusiast even though I have been Djing since 98... MoodyMan is the Shiiiiiit! He's from Detroit right? Shit is poppin off over there now too... Man this thread has the potential to be hella fun.. I've been Djing in California for a few years now (Bay Area, Sacramento) never really cared to be famous or anything like that.. It's always been a blast..

Shit man, I hope you shoot back in here soon and give me some History.. Stay Blessed my friend!
