And here is HPS tent 1 in the recycled organic soil beds.

These plants I did a fair amount of training. Topped, chicken wire, and all back side branches removed during bloom transplant. Hoping the from a solid vertical wall around the bulb.

Also some more clones placed right into 12/12 at different times. These ones are further along then the last.

Choppy chop date set for 1-21-12

Those sticky nugs from the PPP look AMAZING brother, great work! I can smell the stickiness through the computer :good:

You mentioned you picked up the PPP from attitude seedbank but which breeder specifically?

Thanks man! The PPP is my favorite strain so far but I dont remember the breeder, its been to long. Sorry amigo.

Usually the feminized breeders at attitude are limited

Is this legit? I need some input. When I want to add nutrients to my bluemat resev this is what I do.

I take a empty milk jug, add 1/2 gallon RO/DI, 1/4c kelp, 1/4c alflafa, 1/8c fish, 1/8c guano, and 4 tbls molasses.

Shake it all up and let it sit. Over the course of a couple day I have to vent the jug because it starts to expand. After about 5 days I use @ 1 cup of nutrient to 5 gallons of water and feed as needed.

Is this a legit way of doing things? I basically want something I can leave in a bottle which can be added to my bluemat reserv when I need it.

See what happens when you take your organic soil trip elsewhere.....not much. Welcome back...looks like you've been fruitful w/recycled soil. I grew out and crossed out the PPP....smells like xmas trees eh. There is a really trippy Africn sativa pheno if you can find it...makes people especially female just nut.
PPP is Power plant x some Dutch Indica afaik... a Nirvana seeds deal....claiming "new S. African genetics"....whatever that means. You'd think breeders would tell their customers what the lineage is in order to sell more seed.

Benny, I'm subscribed.
I've a remarkably similar set-up.
Hope you will post yield when the time comes as I'd like to hear what your 600's are doing.

What size airpots are you using thru flower?
Do you notice that your plants begin to fade earlier in the airpots?
Are you running a diluted tea thru your blumats?
Thanks for this thread!

I'd be hesitant to mix that and leave it with the guano in there. I'm assuming the guano has bacteria, which could multiply in the anaerobic conditions and high food source in the milk jug, either degrading the nutrients or exploding the bottle. No clue, just a guess....I don't use guanos.

If you try to move water that includes high levels of OM (organic material) through the Tropf Blumats I promise you that you will be replacing some very important components to the point where buying a new set is the path of least resistance.

I don't even use liquid Silica because of its properties relative to the limited OM in our tap water.

Well that settles it right there. :tumbleweed:

On the same note though, not to knock on wood but I have been passing all sorts of stuff through those bluemats since April this year. The one thing I noted is they, like anything else, require maintenance and everytime I harvest a tent, those 6 bluemats get some love. I try to clean them good and flush the line.....but like you said, my dawn will come.

If I look at it that way though, each one of those bluemats paid them self back 7 fold already - and to consider the amount of time they have freed up for my sake is just insane. They are still going strong and took a long while to get to know though, finicky lil SOBs... . For the longest while I was flooding tents, or drying out plants....and then, well then I decided to show a little teat and was rewarded. Oh thank you, oh thank you blue mat gods!

At any rate, and sorry for the rant, trying to figure out an organic strategy to feed 18 plants in different phases of growth, organically, through bluemats, is a PITA which calls for a round of applause for super soils! I love me some organics. Its ummm umm good.

You outta tell me a little about your setup, im always open to new information. One thing I know is its easy to get set in your ways, and sometimes your way, aint the highway. You get where im comin from here???

Ya know its funny...you know the sweet awesome gooey shit that gets collected on the scissors as you trim nugs???? I just, right now, got done smoking a whole ball of the shit all to myself.....I feel awesome. Kinda wish I knew a fuuny story....

haha sorry, I wondered again.....lets see here...oh the air pots....I believe those suckers are a smidgen over 3 gallons but I swear they hold more like 4 gallons of soil. And a little something between you and me, those air pots have been walking on the soil beds as far as yield goes......that could all be speculation but you know what im sayin....feelin what im steppin in....

With the cooler months already settled in the yields have been getting larger...woot woot...summer sucked, almost buried me. Airpots are the shit though, especially for a perpetual jam....

and on a side note, im pulling the cord on the LEDs and swapping them for a 400w vert bulb. Call me crazy but I love vert bulbs. LEDs are cool and all but I feel like they dont fit the profile for what im trying to do. nahhhmean?....I love those 600 watters......and if I had a wish I would love nothing more then 10 tents with a 600w each and set it up to yield every week....be sucking down 6000w and producing 14-16oz a week...tell me that wouldnt be awesome?? So doable too...

The LED plants are looking exceptional as most LED buds usually do but I think the final weight is going to be low this round. Here are some close ups of the jack flash...

Dont think they will all be done by the 11th.

HPS tent two is starting to show nice thick colas forming on most of the girls.

These girls will be ending week 6 on 12/11

Benny, here is your funny story:

Once upon a time there was a man named Adam.
He was perfect.
He lived in an idyllic setting and could want for nothing.
Except a mate.
Our Lord and God, sensing his distress called down to Adam.
"How are things, my Sun?" [Sun God/Son of God. Depends on where/when you were born]
"Well 'G everything is great. Weather, food, location, all aces. But I have one request"
"Yes...?"
"Well" says Adam, "I'm awfully lonely here all by myself. Do you think I could have some companionship?"
'Of course!" says Our Lord and God. "Your wish is my command. You can have the most wonderful companion! Loyal, obedient, smart but not too smart. Good cook. Loves to clean. Will satisfy your every need!"
"That sounds great I'll take it!" says Adam
"It comes at a price my Sun. A companion of this great a magnitude will cost you an arm and a leg"
"Well, that is a little steep" says Adam. "What can I get for just one rib?"

I have 2 DR80's with 400's(cheap MH) and 2 DR90's with 600's(Digilux 600MH).
All on a flip flop.
Vertical in the 3 flowering (train to wall with plastic netting), horizontal on the veg chamber.
I have 2 gallon airpots now, and wonder if they are too small to do a full cycle with Living Soil.
I like what I am hearing about your slightly larger airpots.
I am thinking of going larger with fabric pots so I can do no-till, but perhaps just larger airpots and recycle but not no till.
I am planning to keep my blumats in the equation.

Your pics look good. They give me a look at what my potential could be!
Peace
F.

haha that is a good one. Must of took you a minute to type up!

How long is your flower cycle and do you transplant at all or do you go right into the final container?

Im not expert but I think you get a far better and structured root system when at least one transplant is done.

And bluemats with a living soil are a match made in heaven!

This is why I miss plants from seed......I dont get roots like this from my serial cloned plants.

Im making new plans to keep original mums from seed so I dont see so much strain degradation like I do from my serial cloned plants.

Some may argue its all circumstantial but just from my own experience that is what I think.

Her is a feminized purple kush from seed being transplant in final contianer. She is going in for 3 more weeks of veg and then onto flower. She also got sprinkled with clover seed....These roots are nice to look at in my book.

On a side note, this would never happen in a smart pot. None of that spiraling bull **** but none the less, very healthy.

Here we go, another week down in the books.

Here is some veg action. The clover is starting to sprout and looking fancy...

These LED buds are looking prime. Supposed to chop them tomorrow on the 11th but I don't really have time to trim them until the 13th so I think I will leave'em up.
