since og got feminized in seeds form you see 100000 x of new og popping out of nowhere .

also the same cut grown by 10 peoples will get different product from grower to grower . taste , look might be different and some will have no shame to rename and resell their version which is only an og cut or a cut from og from seeds...

i laugh when i remember 1 og at overgrown and tasted 1 in cali . now its all bs under 100000 name

put 10 og kush growers in the same room and a fight will broke guaranteed on the subject of who got the real deal .

im afraid it will be hard to have a consensus on the matter because you always have 100 x of guy that will say that you dont get the real one....even if you do...too many people will tell you are wrong that its really hard to know shit from truth .

just an example : the so called og kush that i can get is a pheno from a dna pack , zero selection have been done and they sell it under og kush for 100 $ a cut ...they cash on the name and some sell any strain that look dank under the kush name...is the pheno a real representation of og, no it yield like a commercial beaster and the taste is faint and not mouth coating like real deal og ..no fuel , faint citrus ....indica sleepy buzz... short and compact growth patern...different than the tall stretchy og that dont give much and taste so good and creep like satan in your underwear .

DNA genetics are some fake ass breeders... Aaron gave my boy a bunch of seeds to grow at his huge warehouse (b4 he got rolled) ... My friend grew out all the pollen chucked crosses via DNA and Air Head got to come select anything he wanted and get cuts of he thought was worthy... Aaron from DNA has 55 gallon drums filled with seed .. he should be charging like 1/3 the price he does for his whack work .. My bro was an idiot for hooking up DNA like that...I'd never convert a 30 lighter from a Grow Show to a Seed poppin fiesta ... The only good thing from it... He got the Kosher Kush cut that won the Cup... Still not even close to being worth it.. While Aaron lounges at his Malibu home doing nothing... He has people whipped on his Celeb status doing his dirty work .... Where the Days of Uniform plants at and Who wants to by seeds from a "Breeder" who's grow skillz are lacking (Swerve for example)

I have got them both. They are not the same. The 818 is Almost just like my ghost cut. The topanga canyon pure kush looks completely different and is supposedly more Limey rather then lemon like the 818.

Yeah fuck DNA/RP genes.. Smoked a quarter of some reserva privada crap, picked it up thinking it was real OG as thats what they told me it was.... Hit them up after I had it in my hand and then they tell me its rp garbage. Might as well have smoked a quarter of tobacco that night. They're different cuts, for sure. The Topanga/HPRC is the PK 30yrs has posted about. It's an earthy, lime OG. No lemon or pine but the rest of the 'OG' smell is there, if that makes sense. Really nice cut. The smoke is silly good.

the 818 og i was told was og kush x sour d x platinum bubba.. that was news to me as i always thought it was a pure og.. maybe that info is wrong though. i got the cut and will find out, so far it doesnt look like a pure og. shorter node spacing and bushier.. maybe theres two though? definitely different from sfv and valley though although theyre all references to the same place.

and as far as the topanga canyon pure kush, pretty sure its the same as the hollywood pure and 91 pk.. but different from the la pure kush and suge pk. the topanga canyon, hollywood, 91 is the best pure kush by far. basically an og but in a different sense. i guess more lime then lemon pine sol. ill have to keep that in mind next time im smoking it. i do get the lucky charms on the exhale.

i actually just got another pure kush in the valley that looks like neither the 91 pk or the lapk, more sativaish in the leaves and looks real stretchy. came from a legit source so we'll see which one it is.

the hollywood pure is one of my favorite cuts though. hard to beat. wish i knew more about the history of it.

just harvested some OGs....i got this one labeleed as "platinum OG" from a dispensary in san francisco. its a nice yielder but doesnt have the lemon fuel rankness of the "sfv" cut that we were running.....its more along the lines of the tahoe IMO...the pics at the bottom might be the "sfv" cut im an idiot and mixed them both up...the way i usually tell is the "sfv" is more golden and has more poddy calyxs and has a more distinct gasoline smell..

I loved the older Pure Kush (OG Cut). Lank Dank OG Goodness. The Suge is a bubba hybrid, very indica and an actual kush as opposed to the first pure kush. Comparing the Suge and the original PK are almost apples to oranges being that they're so diff in extremes of sativa and indica.

As for plat OG there's about 4238728943798 cuts named platinum OG. It became a popular thing in California collectives to start calling anything they consider "dank" platinum whatever. So trying to track down one platinum OG versus another is almost pointless. The Platinum OG you picked up looks nice.

the most sought after cut for indy's.. some kind of OG Kush no doubt. For the satty heads, is the uptown haze (not the black haze in miami). No exception there.

Here is the Real Deal Fire OG there are many cuts labeled Fire that aren't and the CC Raskal cut is nothing close to the Fire dont waist your time.
