There was a youtube video recently (I cannot find it now) where a guy in Langley won over EFSI and their overthetop inspections were deemed unlawful.

The 93 KwH is when Hydro reports your consumption to the police (Surrey is still doing this as far as I know)), but they have to see somme sort of anomaly on FLIR to proceed, and proceed means what?

I realize this means little, I have been at 127 KwH and choppers started flying over my place on a regular basis (2005//2006) but I have a whole-house air circulation system that keeps FLIR from seeing heat signatures and I never got a visit from anyone, as soon as I got my license the choppers stopped.

SO I guess what your saying is I should have no issues with a license........?

Food for thought, guess I'll have to figure out exactly what I'm going to do. Thanks.

LED one of the most important things is eletrical like you mentioned you are making a room to go with over kill is better SAFETY FIRST especially when at drawing stages
you mentioned 63 plants between you and wife ???? seems allot of plants for it being legal, i searched on Health canada's MMA card status were talking about so many plants per no where do i see over like 12 plants
i know a person with a MMA card to grow he has AIDS and he is only allowed to got 8 plants indoor including all plants clones , veg and flower only 8 plants
how do you get 64 plant count between you and your wife ??????
and he can only grow 4 plants out door
now i also read you can grow for like 2 more people now becoming a care giver as well as wife gf or so on in your house hold , etc so i think max grown can be for 4 card holders per household ??? so being a care giver for 4 people
that still won't get you to 63 plant count ??? i don't think not 100 percent sure ,
but why run so many plants do less then you can run 2k of lighting you will still have a very good grow with 2 k

Doc, I got a 10gr/day license.. That works out to 49 plants and that's just my license....

LED you are right i believe i read somewhere where Health Canada , or police have a right to inspect your premises or have certified people to do it , even tho this may not happen but lets look at liabilities here your house burns down and mine to cause of your electrical issues we live next door lets just say ???? and you kill someone from the fire lets just say right
there is allot more people have to look at and follow common sense will your home insurance be aware of a grow will home insurance sky rocket ??? Should neibours have a right to know will there be kids in the house where grow is going
there has to be security in place i read lots how some medical grower was robbed at gun point will this cause alarm to imediate neiborhood even tho you are allowed to grow does your area allow small businesses from home you litterally got to treat it like this
how close are you to playgrounds schools ravines , rivers etc
how will you get rid of any DGS dangerious goods from flushes etc nutrients soils ??? containers remember chemical nutrients are classified as Dangerous goods
what about c02 emmisions if your running Co2 etc?? venting will it effect people most importantly the family next door right the smell cause trust me it it will be smelled out side your house
bottom line get your P's and Q's in order see a LAWYER and check everything out be prepared :tiphat:

In order to start the licensing process with Health Canada to become a designated legal medical marijuana grower you need to be assigned a patient who has been approved by Health Canada. You cannot have a drug related conviction in the last 10 years.
Number of Patients
You are allowed to provide for two(2) patients with a maximum of four (4) patients per address. BUT any one individual at an address can have a maximum of two(2) patients. For example if you are growing for two patients your spouse or friend can grow for two patients at your address for a total of four(4).
Prescriptions and Plant Count
Your maximum allowance varies depending on your patients prescription. For example you grow for three patients who require these amounts:
1 gram/day = 5 plants
2 grams/day = 10 plants

3 grams/day = 15 plants
What this means is your total indoor plant count is 30. This covers any and all stages of production - from clones to mature plants. Indoor and outdoor plant counts are not calculated the same - you can use our calculator to check this yourself.
Security and Safety
To get approved to grow your own or grow for someone else, you must take precautions to protect your plants and dried storage from theft. Health Canada is very strict with the security measures and your approval to grow depends on satisfying them. There are no minimum requirements but if Health Canada doesn’t like what you put on your application they will call you to discuss them.
Common sense is very important when considering your proposed grow site. Windows, steel doors, motion lights, alarm, dogs, fencing, and location. Health Canada does not want your production site near a school, park or public trail. Your dried storage must be protected in a secure, private place and protected under lock and key from theft as well.
There are requirements for the property, the most important being electrical safety and being up to code. We recommend getting an electrician to certify your electrical status before getting started. The police or Health Canada may bring a city bylaw officer or a representative of your local power company to your home or production site to ensure your up to code.
If you would like to get in touch with Health Canada directly about the application process please don't hesitate to call them toll-free at: 1-866-337-7705. The mailing address and fax numbers for submitting your applications are indicated on the guides and forms found here on
