Also silver, fwiw, the extra i spend on the rootmakers, which is less than what you mentioned, i got a good break for getting so many, is saved in my time and lifespan. I water much less, (vs. Smartpot/rootpot) bc they have sturdy plastic sides, and they last a looong time. They are so strong i can flip one and stand on it, then bounce on my toes about a dozen times before a three inch crack popped up in the floor of the pot. Im 175. I still use it, cant even tell. Im using it now lol.
Also, you will obviously have to water alot, but you can grow trees in them. Even the three gals. Moms have hit 4 ft easy.

Those LUI buds you posted a page back look really nice. You're in for a nice yield in the big tent running 25 of them. Keep up the good work.

Good stuff man - thanks for the detailed response..

So I was at the store today, and noticed they had a couple different rigid-yet-breathe-y pots..

They had the Root Makers ($3.29 for a 1 gal I think?) that you've got, ..

And they also had these - Plant Warrior pots

WarriorPotsVert.jpg

In terms of "how," they seem to be very similar to the Root Makers. .. But, of course, different. :joint:

What do you think of the design? Do you see anything that would make it inferior, in your experience, to the Root Makers?

If anyone's used the Plant Warriors, I'd love to hear about it.

No real issues with the smart pots for me, but I'd like to experiment here'n there with some competing products, ..

Edit: Can we see some veggy plants? :D

been a bit, again. traveling alot still.
funk - thanks man im hoping to get some big girls with the extra veg time. well see when i take the pics of day 1F tomorrow. im hoping the bigger luis will stretch more, ive noticed when i flip them smaller they dont do alot of that...
Enlighten- that intake is pointed up because there is a six inch dayton axial on the other side that pushes too much air in if it is directed at the floor. i find myself watering in there much more than i should. with the six inch eco supreme running wide open and the dayton intake also uninhibited, there is more than enough air movin through that tent. there is a six inch clip on pointed down towards the canopy that catches the intake air and blows it across the tops under the light, the the filter picks it up on the opposite corner and it gets pulled out the light and dumped into the room.
silver - about those pots, i would imagine the roots would circle all the way down before being trimmed, making them inferior imo, to the stepped design in the rootmakers, forcing the tips of the roots to get pruned all the way around every step instead of after they hit the bottom. just my quick opinion. ill be back with some updates in here soon guys, some tonight and then the big tent is going into the dark tonight, first day of 12/12 will be tomorrow night! update for that too!
