I'm still a little bitter from betting they'd go under last week vs. oakland....what was it 50-17?

watch them it's not like Byron and Charlie Batch are Jamarcus Russel.......When Tommy Maddox went down in 04 in the 2nd game everyone said the same thing.....Can't win with a rookie....bla bla bla Ben comes in and wins 14 straight games then a playoff game......Byrons won alot of games in this league for 2 other teams that did not have nearly the talent level of this Steeler Team....

It doesn't matter this is a different week and these 2 teams slug it out for a low scoring game everytime....Pitt's D who I hated for the 1st 4 games has pulled it together......and they know how to get to Flacco.......And the Ravens D might not have Ray Ray but they aint soft they give up alot of points cause they finally have a qb now and dont have to be so stout.......My guess is they will bring the old D to Pittsburgh on sunday night....

This all depends on how Leftwich plays. He can still sling it, but he's possibly the least mobile qb in this league, like slower than the Manning brothers combined. If he's pressured, and there's no reason to think he wont be behind that line, then the Steelers will have half an offense and will score 10-15 points. So under 40.5 is definitely possible, if the Ravens offense do not light it up. Maybe they turned a corner by dominating Oakland, or maybe they just played well against a porous defense. Which the Steelers are not, ever since they came off their bye week.

Tod Haleys Offence is quick passes.....blitz beaters and solid running game......I like all our backs all 4 are good I R is just straight ahead J D is Bettis like a bruiser with great feet,Mendenhall is a hybrid type back big and fast strong and elusive....then there's the x factor back Chris Rainey who is a shifty shake and bake guy who can play in the slot or the back field also hes as good a return man as Antonio Brown...

But isn't that bad karma to bet against your picks and then root against you? Like if you play craps and keep betting against the guy rolling the dice, hoping he tanks, and then what if he gets on a hot streak? Then he's gonna rub it back in your face...

I dont know, but football gambling is such a crapshoot, what with all the upsets and improbable outcomes. But sometimes you can have a good week or a good run. Wasnt it two or three years ago the road dogs were winning outright for like the first 3 months of the season (if not the whole season), so if you had consistently bet road dogs you would have been up quite a bit, maybe throw a few parlays in there, really be playing with house money.
Only to lose most of it back to them over the course of the playoffs, in all likelihood, lol.

The Gronk broke his forearm today. Can he play with a big metal cast, if they let him? Maybe he can use it to club DB's across the head.
Have him in one league. Picked up Dwayne Allen off the waiver wire, Luck's a good QB maybe he'll get some td's consistently down the stretch.

Jonathan Dwyer looked pretty good last night though.should have given it to him 3rd and goal from the 1 he is the guy that got you down there instead they let leftwich throw the fade to Wallace who can't catch a cold this year.....pretty bad move for a reciever who was a hold out all pre season....The D looked pretty good last night too...Leftwich I'm not too sure of he looked hurt to me alot of bad misses but hes all hush hush cause he wants to keep playing.anyway game could have gone either way typical slug fest.and seeing as we're patting ourselves on the back whoever followed my advice and bet the steelers and the under would have won some dough
