UPDATE.

So today officially finishes the 5th week of flower. And the ladies are looking fabulous! The Purple Diesel's are fucking amazing for 35 days of flower! And also showing some fabulous tones of purple on the fan/sugar leaves as well as purple calxy's. I'm thinking this strain might finish out around the 8 week mark at this point. The White Russian's aren't as far along, and are looking to me like maybe a 9-10 week strain, although I've been wrong before. Everything is nice and dense, starting to pack on the weight, and smelling absolutely lovely. White Russians have more the classic skunky smell combined with a citrusy/lemony smell... The Purple Diesel's have more of a fruity pebble/rotting fruit/fuel/spicy/musty smell and are smelling MUCH more potent than anything else in the garden.

I'm having a tough time deciding what clones to cut for my next round. I really already should have them going... The three individual strains: Blue Cheese, Qrazy Train, and LA Kush are all also doing very well. The BC has an incredible amount of resin, QT's are quite resinous and this strain is definitely a yielder. LA kush is very kushy in structure, but seemed to lack that classic kush smell at this point. At this point I'm not sure if I'm going to go with half Qrazy Train, and half Blue Cheese or half LA Kush. But, I may go all Qrazy Train for the next round. Tomorrow I'll be getting two 5 packs of TGA beans: Jack The Ripper and Plush Berry, so these will be also be included in the next round regardless of what clones I cut. I'm likely leaning towards cutting ~25 cuts of Qrazy Train, picking out 20 of the strongest cuts, and filling the rest of the space with the beans.

But damn! Stoked on the garden and the current and upcoming happenings. I may be chopping these PD's sooner than I'd orginally thought, so in the next week I'm going to have to pay attention to the ladies and determine when to start my flush.

All in all, things are going great, room conditions are perfect, no sign of the powdery... and temps are maintaining 75°-77° and a RH factor of 40%. Still following the PBP + additives/supplements feeding schedule and all is rolling smoothly.

Enough rambling. Let's see some fuckin' flowers!

Looks great, how do you water them?

Have a gravity fed "main line" running through the middle of the garden, with a couple of of lines coming off either side with valves. It's a bitch, and always entails moving plants around or crawling through the jungle. Space is limited. But, the design is a precursor to something more of ease.

The PD is a strain I've been holding onto for quite some time that I haven't, until now, had a chance to finish out. The folks I got it from talked it up a good number as having high med value with the sour d genetics. The WR is just a classic that I've seen flowered, and was amazing when, to me, it wasn't grown to it's full potential, and I thought I could do better. They're both looking to be some lovely smoke, but time will truly tell.

Thanks for all the nice words guys, appreciate you all checkin' out my ladies ;)

It's like I read your mind before I read your post. Just got done sticking 24 QTs into rockwool.

Haha, fellow weed nerd my friend. How was your Apollo 13 experience? I've been checkin' out TGA's stuff for a long time, but this will be my first chop of anything TGA (the lone QT plant). I know some friends of friends that have grow some TGA that I've smoked, and some of the tastiest herb I've ever burned. In fact, I've got an ounce of Querkle I've been smokin on I picked up a few days ago.

And better yet, I just got back from meeting up with a fella I know that was able to get to The School of Dank in Seattle over the weekend, and I was graced with a 5-pack each of Jack The Ripper and Plush Berry. Needless to say, I just walked over to my laptop from starting the germ.

So next round I'll have a room full of QT's, plus some of these new goodies to select some tasty phenos. Good fucking times.

Okay time for the weekly update...! Today the girls are starting their 7th week of flower and looking pretty fucking tasty!!

Pretty much on cruise control at this point, minus a couple of small hiccups. Here in WA we had some ridiculous rain/wind in the last week; like 4" of rain in 48 hours with high winds. And the garden has held up well with rain, and haven't had any real issues, until now. One morning I came into the garden, and found about a 4'x4' puddle of water, about 1/4" deep. Turns out the high winds and heavy rains caused our WA state signature "sideways rain" to get between the door and the door track, and eventually into the garden. I'm going to have to figure out a way to correct this, but in the meantime, I figure as long as we don't get repeat weather, me and the ladies will be doing fine. Also had a heater failure overnight one night (the next day I believe) and temps dropped to 61° overnight. Not a huge deal for just one day... Luckily the dehuey puts out a little bit of heat, otherwise I think it would've been much worse.

But! Other than that, everything seems to be pretty routine, allbeit with some slight future concerns. I've got some serious canopy concerns though in the coming weeks, as I'm getting some girls already doing their end-of-flower-gangster-lean. Fuck me for never putting up the trellis. If a serious avalanche occurs, well, I'll jump off that cliff when I get there. For prevention I'm not really sure what to do in this situation.

One thing I'm debating on is the flush time for the Purple D's. Right now I'm seeing SOME cloudy trichs in the mix, and I'm seeing some late flower swelling starting to kick in. Today is day 42-43, and if I were to start a 2-week flush today (which wouldn't be possible because I fed the entire garden this morning) then we'd end up around day 57ish, which now I'd say this pheno has about a 60 day flowering time. But, I'm a tad worried I'll overshoot it and they may end up going a little longer. The White Russian strain on the other hand... I'm kind of thinking this girl might be a 70 dayer, as a buddy chopped around 65 days if I remember right, and they could've gone a bit longer IMO. Ah well... we'll just have to play it by ear. Joy to running new strains.

Alright, enough of that. Pics...!
