Yep feds can't do shit anymore. Colorado and Washington is gonna explode even more than Cali and once everyone sees just how much money these states make off the taxes EVERYONE is gonna want a piece of the pie. The government has simply been afraid of this drastic economical change of power but theirs nothin' they can do about it now aside from stall the inevitable.
See the thing is, 99% of all marijuana possession arrests are made by local law enforcement. If local law enforcement loses the power to make their arrests then it's good game and no rematch bitches. The feds don't have the resources to handle 18 medical states, california, and now 2 legalized states and michigan etc.

I am happy that two states have passed legalization laws but I will tell you that I have no intention of paying taxes (or dispensories for that matter) as I grow my own. I am very glad to not be apart of any black market/medical market and my money staying in my pocket.
So, I am given to beleive that since growing your own is now permitted in these states that more people will just grow their own as well and the numbers in tax revenue may be over inflated.
Also, the number of private gardens would surely overwhelm the Feds/DEA what with budgetary/man power issues. A national call for less governement spending will no doubt call for more effective uses of the diminishing funds.

yes it is legal now, and the guide lines will be defined by dec 6th. It was legal to grow your meds there before. same in Co. dont com in here and spread misinformation.

This legalization attached with a 75% tax is a huge windfall for every cartel and gang in America. And what can the police do? How can they verify that every ounce a person holds was purchase from a registered store? Impossible! And now when Mexican gangs do get caught all they are charged with is not having a proper license.
The electorate has spoken and Romney will not be able to fight medical cannabis tooth and nail. Kudos to Colorado and Washington voters, they have started the monumental change in our cannabis laws state by state. Peter Tosh "Legalize It" and Bob Marley are smiling upon us, they started the fight many years ago worldwide to allow us our cannabis as a gift from God.
