Hey could anyone tell me how many weeks of stretch to expect? is this ecsd going to be hitting the ceiling ?

expect stretch to last about 40% of the flowering stage. this is a general rule...4weeks in a 70 days strain. this is when the plant will really transition into heavy budset stage. this is also when i begin selective defoliating any fan sugar with huge woody stem

budman nailed this one as did a few others, about half way through she will just explode in the bud department aswell as a slower start in veg but once she gets settled just like in the budding stage she will start rocking in vegg.....watch her stretch and keep all the BULL clean from her you just want those uppers to fill in and boy will they....

just pitched about 15 snips of this girl im done with her but she was a cool plant to grow just not my style...

all the branches have been stripped atleast half way up, if you dont do this you will get a lot of really small buds which will take away from getting your top buds to max out...

One of my current gals in my greenhouse was that size when I put her in there a few weeks back ..mmmmm maybe 45 days ago ...

I have a huge metal cage around her ..

see if you can see the cage in the pic anywhere ..
she's engulfed it and grown to 6' wide .....

She doesn't excel in a greenhouse imho ,,,but turns it on in hydro or coco with a Big HID overhead ....or grown vertically
and tied up to support she swells massively when branches
are close to the light source...

Again ,,,anything The ECSD pollen touches becomes chunkers..

Look closely and you'll see she was riddled with PM
back before I bought Eagle 20 and then Immunox which
has assured PM free grows ever since ..


That PM came from a cut from a buddy ,,,,again a prime example
of how any foreign material introduced into your precious sealed
ecosystem will be devastating ...

Not sure who neg reped you, but this info is spot on. You can plot on a calendar to the day when stretch will end using the 40/60 rule. You can also use it to determine the true cycle length by physically identifying the end of stretch, then calculate the finish time...

That is a good way to sort of, back end identifying the chop date. Very good!

Awesome thread love seeing all these amazing Sour Plants, just started growing this amazing strain ! Have a lady trained like this so far, pruned some lowers after snapping these pics and just flipped to 12/12.A view from the side, up through the canopy and from overhead. Any tips, comments or criticism would be appreciated not sure what to expect of this strain . In organic soil , 12 gallon pot under 1K Watts

i just got the original clone only sour d cut.. cant wait to mother it out so i can get some cuts to do a big run with her.. she grows so fast and stretchy as shit too.

is ecsd and sour d two different cuts or exactly the same?

is aj's cut the original. does anyone have any info on aj's cut? i think thats the sour d swerve and raskal use. maybe jj too but im not sure.

ECSD is the clone. Sour Diesel IBL is the seedline from Rez.

As for the AJ/ECSD bit... well, I guess it just depends on who you believe.

yeah, JJ*YC says The AJ Cut was cloned off the same mother as The ECSD clone only cut. He claims that their phenotypical expression has changed due to the growing style/environment of the person growing the clones out.
