My only concern in regards to buying a digi was the stories that popped up occasionally about wireless interference. I have had no such issues with internet, radio, cable, nothing. Is there a brand that's known for interference or was it an issue with all of them before a kink got worked out?

Given how easy this digi was to mount, I may be replacing some core-and-coils with those Revolts on newegg. That's a good site.

Great site, and safe lol!

Never had an interference issue, tho Im aware of the potential I suppose..

Why wouldnt you pay for a Quantum if you can get it for cheaper or less then a knockoff quantum. Unless you are bringing over tons of knockoffs.. $145 delivered for a Quantum is a smoking deal.

Again.. that gold UltraGrow you pictured while may be the same as the Quantum. The guts sure look the same... however my experience with them is much different. They all failed or repeatedly blew fuses where as the Quantums next to them kept on keeping on. Maybe it was a temporary batch of bad components or something, but in my experience those gold ultragrows are junk.

I do have a bit of a clue to the shady supply side of chinese direct import as well. They are dirt cheap, however if you don't get enough "extra" on top of your purchased container amount you can easily get stuck footing the loss out of pocket should your failures exceed your supplied overages for warranty purpose. 300 'free' knockoffs doesnt mean shit if a 1000 of them fail.

Anyways..not tryin to clog up your thread with irrelevant info..
Patiently waiting on the build over here. Keep it coming.

clog my thread? Shiiiiit, this is one thread that along side my grow, anything can be discussed..

You definitely have the insight I do, so I hear ya.. I just put the pic of the gold ballast up for reference, I dont know what the return rate on them is, but the fact you bring that up provokes other thoughts, such as maybe they arent all made in the same place afterall? Not in the biz anymore, who knows whats changed since then...

If you were talkin 145 for 1k's then yes, Id go with them too, Ive not seen a knockoff 1k cheaper than that...

picking up the last of my supplies in the morning... this beast will be done tomorrow night, minus a few automatic fan controllers, but I can improvise till then, day 1 bloom starts Sunday.. Too bad all I got to bloom is a Chemd and a shitty Katsu that was improperly grown, shes getting "repaired" as we speak, had ta strip her down and blast her with the bennies, I predict a full recovery..... Rest should be ready in the next month, gotta get a run in to get back into the swing of things.. .

Here is my shanty makeshift mobile veg room, design to tuck into the bloom room with the door shut.. the exhaust is easily handled by the 10" max fan and can150 filter... You didnt hear? Plywood is KILLING Orca and reflectix together, bwahahahah..

Stupid question coming at you mate cos I'm curious:

Is that walk-in closet bloom/veg room you have tucked away at the back of your master bedroom or something? Just wondering how you'd keep it secret when guests come over.

Yep.. The closet is the flowering room, the left over space accommodates my veg cab, once the door is shut, you cant tell a thing...

Now there is an intake in a closet outside of my room that will bring in cool air directly to the closet, plus a cutout in the door itself, which in the event say my wifes girlfriends wanna get ready in my bathroom for the club or something, I have a long bedroom mirror to cover the intake... Gonna be completely dead to anyone at my place, besides, I dont keep any company, only family and they dont need to be in the master bedroom of my house anyways...

That's exactly what I thought and my god you're a lucky SOB! You have all the bases covered indeed friend. I only have one or two close friends myself but the wife has guests over all the time. The second she says that some girlfriends will be coming over I go into immediate stealth protocols and lock my space down tighter than a virgin's honeypot haha.

Now that I understand your setup fully I'll be watching this one closely. I know you'll do great things!

PS. I love how in one pic you see the fuck off big carbon filter on the floor, the next pic it's mounted to the roof!!! Had me in stitches.

Not sure you ever read my posts about the muffin fan beneath stacked bare bulbs , but here it is again for everyone else to benefit from......

I used 10" chromed out clones of the lil honeywell that fits perfectly in a 5 gal bucket for a ona gel air purifier , but.....

When I went with stacked bulbs , Heath told me that natural heat convection will take the heatgain to the ceilings , and air exchange twice per min would take care of the rest.....and......

The muffin fan beneath the stacked bulbs should be put on the LOWEST setting to create that gentle "column of air" to assist the exhaust/scrubber combo with air exchange twice per min or else all heat not sucked out gets blasted back through the grow area and has to be dealt with in other ways as in a/c and power draw ......

Never saw Heath run an a/c or dehuey in all the yrs I followed his shit......the bastard ......Me ?....
Down here in dirty dirty Hell , we got`s ta use all manners of environmental control............so......

Put all equipment in and set em on controllers and thermostats......that way they`re there if and when needed in deep summer squelchin heat and humidity comes in........and....

J......Fan below bulbs on lowest speed with major air exchange out thru exhaust/scrubber combo......now....

Show us howta rock a closet setup with extreme predjudice ....cuz.......

I KNOW yas`re thinkin bout fliprooms and multiple locations in the not so distant future.......I can smell your hunger......

Over here on my bucket waitin on bigger and better thangs.....Show an old man how it`s done ......

Saw Heath put a cabinet setup in a fancy $1000 armoire with 1-600 watt hps and increased plant numbers for well over 2 lbs every harvey , but as we all know.........

He`s the standard to work toward , so it`s available to be done with dialed monocropped strains/varieties once all ducks are in a row.......

Peace......Freds....:ying:........

Second DHF on the muffin fans under the stack on low setting. Worked for me for a while now...

I want a tad bit more power.. Everything is overkill in my grows..lol.. Lowest setting is a gentle torrent, I like the diameter of the airflow pattern.. Everything will be automated temp wise, GOTTA check those Hydroinnovations automatic fan controllers, temps, not going to be an issue, perfect 78f... The Fans are going to be recessed, so that will kill a lil bit of air flow, fuckin smart....

Here is the base of the platform for perspective (upsided down atm), using pvc to make posts in the shape of an octogon that will be wrapped in orca..

DHF.... Dude... get outa my head, lol, mind reader... One step atta time brotha... Lemme get this in, I do need to get with ya in the near future on some specifics I had questions on, but shit... back to work, wife is out for the day, so you know Im bustin my ass!

Oh, and I think with the fans, overkill filter and fan, and controllers utilizing my seer infinity 5 ton beast of an a/c will make things, well, perfect.. Im going for max transpiration, only issue I see potentially is the humidity being a lil on the low side, sall good tho.. lol

Was going to post this earlier, but then I felt like it was a stupid question based on your closet size. Now your platform picture is clearing things up a bit.

You said you'd have a octagon per 600w and it got me thinking, he is gonna stack them right? Certainly not a room in there for 2 side by side, or so it looked.

That closet is deceiving. It must be a lot bigger then it looks. That platform you've got there is pretty much the length of your 150?

Right on bro, the closet is deceptively larger than I can photograph, least from the outside anyways.. Once its buttoned up, itll look huge with all the gear in it..

Its not a symmetrical shape, rather picture a 6.5' x 5' rectangle with an additional area comprised of a trapezoid whos area is not more than 3' squared.. back to work...

Update... Fuckin wife made dinner plans with my bro and his girlfriend, just love how people plan my life for me, goes to show, you keep to yourself and everyone wants to hang, wtf... Anywho, Im kinda at a stopping point, just gotta mount some pvc conduit around the perimeter after I do a second frame midway down the legs... Fans are mounted and wiring is routed, this thing is going to be tits.... Fans really needed to be recessed, as im hand watering in grow bags sitting in planter trays..
