Ran into someone local I spent a little time with last year. Excellent grower. Has Trainwreck x White Widow, Trainwreck, Grape Ape, Skunk and something else for 14 each. Haven't seen it yet. What I saw of his last years was better than a LOT of other stuff I ran across. He's saying wouldn't be surprised to see prices down at 12 this year. We'll see.

NOnDual, i assume outdoor at that price?? If you're talking indoor 4 15 a pk in Chico Imma be on the next thing smokin up I-5 buddy!!! hahaha
Yeah for outs. Was some high quality available for 15 this morning and someone swooped in and took it all a few hours later.

LOL. Sometimes I wish there was a behind the scenes type auction house where growers could bring in their wares. Would be hella interesting! I heard of a place where growers drop off packs on consignment and buyers come through and pick what they wanted. These guys were getting a few points higher than the average 'street' price. There would be stuff I'd pass on then hear what they got at this place and I was like really? They just didn't like the drive and would rather have cash in hand.

I remember quite a ways back getting some SPG clones in kitty litter buckets. Ooops wrong thread.

Lol that was funny but I'm sure smoking weed is last thing on anyone's mind out there right now. Even if u have superior product it's probably hard to move at the moment. It's amazing how even the most hardcore stoners but blazing on the back burner when theres real shit goin down in your life.

i was also wondering if prices are affected in the storm areas...i feel like if i had to stay indoors waiting out the storm i would be chiefin like crazy...but than again if half your house got flooded, your car got flooded, and you just lost thousands of dollars in property than buying a sack of bud probably isnt a big concern...

good luck to everyone out there...

12-14 in the 707 now (middle of the road quality outdoors) ime until folks get their bills get paid. Most solid folk usually don't even consider it theirs before that gets done. But that plus a little for the winter and we'll be seeing yuz, round about june-sept @ shall we say, 18? Okay then, done, hecho... Runners n middlemen should be grateful that unlike they taking advantage of good folks panicking to get their bills paid in this "flood" (some jive about a friend of a friend of a cousin down in lala getting top grade for 11), we don't turn the screws come summer as much as we could in reverse. Because after all, there's never been enough cannabis! But growers are usually too good a folk to do such a thing hehe. So on your next visit, bring some steaks, and some kinda dessert for fux sake. :D

Yeah well I think those prices will hold for at least 4 months and more than peeps just paying bills. Bumper crop of very good quality herb this year. Maybe even dip a point or two from what you said. I've been seeing 14 lately and for better than middle of the road. Let's give this another 30-60 days regarding pricing.

Screw dessert how about some beer or do you have that covered? As for steaks how about some Prather Ranch? I get that pretty cheap cause I buy a half a cow at a time.

Some people jumped all over me a month+ back when I said prices would drop to 12 this season.

Heya Nondual yeah 4 months n then some I guess. I reckon some folks have lots of bills tehee extending to not only families but families yet to be born and all that, so screw dessert indeed, bring hookers, and beer, and hard drugs too while we're at it, or at least get this tank filled down in the city for next time. :D

It's dipped down to 12 for 3 years running now ime. Yeah that 12 is the bottom, and 14 the top, for most folk tryna get trimmers paid and err, uhmm, etc :D

Right on RootWise best to you and yours. Here's to this, the time of year when this scene with any luck most resembles the romantic life outsiders envision http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghj5V5cUo1s&feature=BFa&list=AL94UKMTqg-9CEp9PRgSjV7u8vGctB0Bh8 ?. Biglove. -T

:yoinks:

I'm getting old. Grew up smoking $30 oscars of Lumbo and Mex. Haven't touched hard drugs since the late 70's...except that one time I had to snort some crushed Oxycontin to see what the fuss was all about. Whoa! Never even touched a hooker except for the one that pretty much jumped in front of my car looking for a ride some 25 years back in the Tenderloin. I shoulda just hit the gas and put her out of her misery.

I was getting some great herb in the Laytonville area for 16 in like April of this year. That was after a pretty bad 2011 growing season. My experience is that herb from the Mendo area is like at least 2 points higher than elsewhere. Peeps on their game there though. Schwag from Mendo has gotta be like A grade from any place else.

Think of all the indoor grows that got flooded or darkened for days in the NE... How many of those fancy multimillion homes destroyed along the coast were upscale grows...? There could be a local shortage soon.

Please stay on topic peeps.

this is true, but that made me think of patients that dont have access now. lots of people can send food, water, blankets, hot chocolate; but only people like cali growers can send an herb relief fund. it sounds funny, but I'm not kidding. I just imagine how bad my chrons would be with added stress of the hurricane destroying my house. I would get horrible ulcers. then there is people like bone cancer patients that get bone tumors if they dont have it that can pop arteries and kill them.

maybe we should get together here at ic mag and do something if that is at all practical.
