Wifey`s not gone Bro.......just her shit out the closet......and......If I read that right, then I think you are in for a fall. The wife will want to hit back at you, so if you are kicking her out and growing in the same spot, expect vissitors. I'd rather move away myself and get a new addy she doesn't know and can't find to do that in. But good luck.
Really?
I read it as he was givin' her the boot.
"on my own again"
Whats the word Jbonez? If she's a goner.. be careful.
We use motion dialers that can call #s based on movement. These unfortunately run on phone lines which I will never have in a grow house again due to a buddy getting popped due to the police forcing entry due to an initial "911 call from this location" bullshit. Anyone know of any ADT style security system that dials out from a cell chip rather then land line?
Anyways.. lets see you pack that closet. That massive scrubber combo is a nice start. Love seeing big gear in small spaces..
ah..I see.
Well.. we can pretend anyways. Was much more exciting picturing you tossing her out with all of her stuff and blowing out her closet to ease the pain & sorrow.
On with the show.
I'm new to the digital ballast scene and have never heard of Revolt before, any particular reason why you went with them over Lumatek or Phantom or Quantum (those are the only brands sold in my area)? Now that I look at them closely, it looks almost exactly like my Quantum aside from the color.
what did you do with that box fan?
There are some spots online w/ Quantums for $145 free shipping. Google "cheap quantum ballast"... 1st link has em for cheap.
But yea.. all the same for the most part. I stick with what my local shop will warranty without hassle. (quantum, phantom, lumatek). Looks can be deceiving however as not ALL are creating equal..inferior parts are being used in some although the case may look the same. Buddy of mine tried Ultragrow gold electronic ballasts.. they look identical to the Quantum.. had to return 3 out of 4.
My point is don't try to save $10 and get a brand that is going to be harder to warranty because its not a known reputable brand that might come and go in a flash.
Thanks for the info Jbonez. I usually research this stuff before I make a purchase but I didn't feel like making multiple trips to the hydro store and wasn't even planning on going digital (actually went in to pick up the tried and true core and coil, I have two that are still kickin' after 11 years - caps were replaced though). I paid $200 for a 600W Quantum and it has a 3 year warranty. If you've basically got two Quantums there knowing what you know, I think I made a decent purchase, aside from the price I suppose.
Bro, you made an amazing purchase, quantums and the like are top notch, Ive never seen one fail personally... tho im sure it happens..
I was in the retail side of hydroponics for a minute, you just dont wanna know how you get ripped off, Im talking 50% margins bro, its fucked up...
Ps, you can get those revolts on Newegg, getting ballasts in the mail couldnt be stealthier, lol
picture a 3x3 board with a hole in the middle of it, the fan will mount underneath, blowing air up centered to the bulb
