Yeah nice recipes guys. I am partial to lots of fresh ginger and a garlic clove or two. especially in the winter, its great for immune support. The ginger is super uplifting. Been a while, but i think its time to break out the juicer, it is harvest time after all...

apple
kale
ginger

in any combination you find fitting.

I moved on to smoothies... Blendtec

I juice every once in a while.
Juices are good but smoothies are my favorite.
3pieces of kale
1 banana
5oz of blueberries
I drink this almost every morning for breakfast, and Im good till lunch. Sometimes I throw the avocado with the pit in there. You would be suprised how good all the soluble fiber is.

Ate 100% raw for a month straight for august. I also ate 99% raw from feb-may..
Im keeping it about 85% raw now.

Organic raw diet... Healthiest diet for your body and the planet...hard on your wallet...

The best juicer IMHO is the norwalk.... if you wanna drop the 2500 on one.

I have a breville and it works great.

A juicing tip for optimal absorption and nutritional compatibility....
Juice veggies with veggies and fruits with fruits, apples are the exception and can be juiced with veggies.

Juicing raw cannabis... check it out.

Yup, juicing is very good for you.

Champion brand juicer, got it on fleabay years ago. I have a Variac that could prove useful for speed control. I'll try it and see.

I like the less sweet combos such as celery, euro cukes, granny smiths, and ginger and beets. Carrots are great also but not a lot.

I juice 3 or 4 times a week.

Also its been suggested to "chew" your juice and not gulp it down.

Great thread!

I have been going out to my garden in the woods and picking the lower branches off my Danish Passion x Royal Dane cross and my Royal Nepals, juicing up the raw leaves and buds with carrot and ginger. This gives a slight head buzz with a good relaxing body high, getting rid of my bodies aches and pains. Granted I am using a huge handful and this is probably kinda wasteful but these lower branches will not make super good buds anyway and I would leave em, so who cares.

I'd like to see you bait them out with a thread on how it makes you feel when you juice with cannabis.I just might troll that one myself:lurk:

I have a friend who has a Magic Bullet juicer and has been juicing like mad.He says he really feels better.

I've got an old Vitamix 3600,that hasn't seen a lot of use.
Will it work ok as a juicer?Could I also use it for wheatgrass and Barley grass,or do I need to buy a different machine for that?I have seen wheatgrass juicers for like $25 or so on Ebay, so thats not all that bad I guess.

I hear some of you saying that you remove the pulp. Why would you do that,if you don't mind my asking?

Are there any juicing forums that anyone is aware of?I sure wouldn't mind a resource for juicing questions and discussion.

the pulp is the fiber...thats like the only thing in juice besides vitamins and antioxidants thats good for you...the rest is just fructose and water...personally i never saw the point of juice...why not just eat fruit?

i used to drink that naked brand juice stuff till i realized it's made with unripe fruit...i know this because i am deathly alergic to mangoes, but i didn't know it, i drank the mango naked stuff all the time because it makes your high stronger...then i bought some real mangoes...figured that would be even better for my weed high, well i ate about 3 over a couple days, they didn't taste all that great and they are a hassle with that big ass bean in it... so i stopped eating them, then my brother stops by, i offer him one, and he tells me they are super unripe...i let them sit in my fridge for another week or two till it was actually ripe(i had no idea what a ripe mango looked or tasted like at that point...it was totally different...

i ended up swelling up completely, my fingers, toes, lips, tongue, throat...everything, i itched all over, i had a fever, i could barely breath, nose clogged up in a second...it was terrible, i was up all night long, in pure misery...

and yet...to this day i can drink naked mango drink...i can handle unripe mangoes and still get the boost to my high, but they give me a runny nose and itchy throat...and i stay far away from the ripe ones....

but to me that says...the so called mangoes and probably all the fruit they put in those ready made juice drinks is probably super unripe, or maybe even overripe...

a good friend of mine worked at a potato processing plant, they put some horrifying things into food...if it's gonna get blended anyway you wont know, so they put as many half rotten, maggot filled taters as they can into the mill to turn into powdered potatoes...ive heard from several people baby food is much the same way...the usda has regulations for how many bugs are allowed in these products, and most companies skirt that line as much as possible to maximize profits, you aren't going to throw away a soggy overripe batch of apricots if your going to blend it into a gell and sell it to babies who can't even talk, let alone complain...

so personally i don't think that naked stuff is any good...if each bottle has 3 mangoes and i can drink it fine, but just a few bites of a ripe mango will practically put me in the er? meh it's junk!

I drink freshly made juices almost every day. (0.5 to 1L / day)
I usually drink a mix of oranges/limes and lemons, but I sometimes mix in (making a smoothie) some kiwi, apples, carrots, pineapples, mangos, mint, and strawberries, especially when in season. From time to time I add some cannabis leaves instead of the mint shoots.

Makes me feel a lot better, and keeps the colds away. Here is one I made this week, 5 oranges, 1 lemon, 2 limes served in a sub-zero degrees C glass.
