Jeeyah, so are you saying you like the 1100 ppm's as opposed to the 1500 much more more? Also I didn't start using my Co2 until just 2 days ago, figured that would help keep down on the stretch, also don't plant on using it last 2 week of flowering but I always did that.

I just did a lot a reading on CO2. I read over 1000ppm is a waste. My last run was in my old apartment with a room full of tents. That didn't seem to work. This my second run with it. Definitely makes sense to shut it off last couple weeks. They don't really seem to ripen with it on. (No brown hairs, just tons of white pistil growth). You were right about 82 degrees. They loved it!

Same here Jeeyah, I remember when I first started to use Co2 I read that using it the last 2 weeks of flowering was not needed.....after a few runs I am thinking it's not needed the first 10-14 days of flowering as well in my case at least, but that will be preference I like less but larger plants so I don't want as much stretch. I could see someone doing numbers and wanting to use the Co2 for the first two weeks because it will help them grow larger. Co2 in general has really been something I have yet to perfect in my garden to be honest but I think I am getting there, I under estimated the extra attention to details necessary to keep a Co2 garden looking proper.

I had to learn the hard way when it came to tweeking my garden to hold a steady ppm.
I was playing see-saw with the ppm lvels between my 2 Sentinal Environment Computers/ ac/fan/exhaust system. I had to set up the lamps intake/exhaust seperatly. I had the can fan blow back into my room for smell, instead of using it for heat exhaust and stink control.

The lamps had a 6" H.O inline fan take in cool air from the window box and back out underneath the window box through a seperate venting system so the box didnt heat back up. Constant cool air through the lamps and back out without effecting my room environment.
The Co2 levels stayed at 1300 @ the highest and 1000 @ the lowest. Temps in the mid to lower 80's. Seen 20% increase in yields. Cant stay in the room too long or you will get poisoned.

I also made the rookie mistake and had a 1/2 a tank of propane. I didnt shut the valve off before unscrewing the propane hose. Gas just blew out everywhere. SO LUCKY! If I hadnt reminded myself to put the cig in the ashtry before going in there I would have burned to death before I had a chance to turn it off. Or I would have been running out of the house with a propane flame-thrower shooting fire 5 feet. LOL.
I used it for 2 years and havent found another place, quite like the one I had, to run Co2 again. I miss it. The hardest part is sealing the room air tight. When there are bedroom doors, it can become a challenge.

With just 1 computer for temps/humidity without the co2 the flower room is @ 75*day/ 73*night.....52rh day/ 46rh night. 320ppm's.

Hesus christos, pulled another long shift in the gardens yesterday. Redid most of the ducting; now I have a 12" main duct line & 12" RAM fan and all my 6" & 8" lines T into it. Damn the 12" fan moves some serious air!!

Picked up a new digital 1kw ballast to up the wattage in one of our vert tubes, grabbed a couple more 250w CFLs for the ends of the light mover run, and tons of pumps + lines + shit for setting up flood tables.... Got a busy day making tables and setting everything on drippers.

Btw - I only run 900-1000 ppm for my CO2. I've noticed zero difference between this and running it at 1300-1500 ppm, well no difference except for the tank lasting longer.

hey massholes! i been smoke free now for 2 months and going and was curious as to freezing my pee. i have been giving my pee to friends for drug tests and was wondering how long can pee be frozen for? i hope to smoke soon if i can get ahold of some bud but wanna know how long i can safely keep my piss on ice. i dont plan on drug testing but you never know when it might come handy! i am working at same place 9 years now but any injury invokes a piss van no mater what time day or night. anyone who is intrested in clean piss in mass i am more then happy to help ya out!

TB, thanks man for your input makes me feel more comfortable at that setting. I have to say though how long does a tank last you, when I finally built the current room I have and then added the mini split, a 20lbs tank can last me almost 3 months of 12/12, give or take a fews days, when I was using my portable AC I was changing the tank every 12-15 days....so it sounds like I'll save even more on Co2 now, I like that.


Got some pics of the fookies aka ganja just got clipped off the stems today they need a cured before they can get a decent smoke report. Smell grapey with a sweet/sugary and can't tell yet but I feel like every once in a while I get a hint of hazyness....want to let it sit in a jar for a week or so as well and maybe a couple opinions sometimes I feel I may not be the best judgement of taste or smell...

Here is the PK finishing up at day 70 gonna let it go another 5-7 days, i noticed as of the last week that shes been reeking a little more and more which kinda reminds me of the ecsd, thinking it'll be prime at 77 just like the escsd...

Otto - I'm getting exactly that with 20lbs tanks and a portable... 12-15 days. Good I'm glad to hear ill be saving that much on co2 next summer when I set up the mini split. Seems pretty damn easy to install, does the condenser need to sit on a concrete pad or will a sturdy plastic pad do? I'm pretty sure they make plastic pads for full size condensors anyways.

I'll get some pics up later tonight; my "sweet Island skunk" is fucking insanely piney tasting and smellin. It's great, def so unique but hard to smoke More than a bowl at a time. Amazing bag appeal tho; beautiful lime green coated in frost & bright orange hairs.

Found a very deep diesel pheno of my white berry Kush. Excited to run her again and really focus on it now I know what it is.

I was just talking to a buddy about supplementing with Co2 in my garden so good timing on the back & forth, fellas. Some useful info I was able to pick up. I'm gonna give it a go this winter and see how things turn out.

TB, I just went to home depot and got 4- 12''x12' landscape stone square and put one on each corner. They're were only a dollar and some change a piece....looking forward to seeing those pics. Good to know your getting similar results with the Co2 and portable for the longest time I thought I had major holes in my room, now its seeming it almost the norm with them.

Rasp, I def recommend that Hydro Innovations monitor, quality product, cheap (at least for Co2 monitor standards) and even though you can't adjust the PPM levels, I can show ya how to open it up and set the jumper relays to your likings, simple as pie. So basically I guess you will be able to adjust, lol.

Also if it matter to anyone had my old lady sniff out a bunch of that fookies, its a totally unbiased opinion, doesn't smoke at all but enjoys the smells. She said it didn't smell like grapey sugary like I mentioned. I used the DJ shorts olfactory chart to help describe things and what I got was its a Sweet smell with a licorice and a bit of vanilla, also a woody smell keep popping out her mouth.....goes to show peoples smells are gonna differ widely, gonna have to hear some other peoples opinions.

Very pretty pics. The Fookies. Is that something like GSCookies X SSH? The finished buds look just like a SSH. With the grape undertones, hay, and maybe some Haze, that would be my guess at the genetics anyways. Do you know what the parents are?

Ether way .. It's some fire and the early buds smell so lovely .. Pinched it and the smell cut straight through my nose even w allergies killing my sense of smell!

Got some LUCIFER OGs breaking through the coco .. 5/5!! Hoping for 3 females .. Purple haze .. Grape krush and got 8 of Ras' s99 cross

yeah I think it would even be a hard time saying its cherry pie durban pheno or whatever, thats because first off I've never even seen a picture of "cherry pie durban pheno" anywhere, on top of that the pics i've seen of cherry pie don't really look or sounds like that fookies cuts, CP seems like it looks incredible has an amazing taste and just a so-so high. That fookies cut I have to say to me and without trying to hurt anyways feelings here is its just not that good of a cut or even a half way decent knock off of GSC or CP.....My first impression of the buds are this, nothing blows me away with the buds don't really fill out that much, the appearance is a 7, smell is a 7, high is a 7, yeild 7 and she is constantly in pre-flowering which is just a pet peeve of mine, this cut will have a hard time competing with peoples elites. Also of the 5 people I've let smell/smoke the stuff most people agreed there was a sweetness to the stuff, but not one person was able to related that smell to cookies or gingerbread. I hate to say this but after the couple clones I have in solo right now are done I won't be running it again and she'll be out the mother room, nothing is a waste of time to grow IMO but you don't know what you have till you grow it at least a couple times and this one is just not for me. The couple things I do like about the plant is that blueberry muffin smell if gives off early in flowering wish something like that was carried over to some end product and the buds do grow quickly. This is just my 2 cents I encourage others to give it a try and prove me wrong because my experience won't be the same as others.

Also if any of you guys have seen pics of the CP durban pheno nugs or plants shots post them up, that would be helpful to letting me know if its that but if I were a betting man I'd say I highly doubt it is. Remember I am no cookies or GSC expert, just a weed grower.

Good post, yup it all personal preference. You should see more of the gingerbread smell come out once it gets a 2-3 month cure. It obviously doesn't compare to the Pure Kush, not many cuts I've seen have in terms of high and potency, and there are so many other clone only top shelf cuts to run, I totally hear where you are coming from.

On a side note, one of the Phenos of DNA's LA Confidential finished as a blueberry Muffin end product in the nug, almost identical to the blueberry muffin smell of cookies in early flowering. Although that cut of LA Con probably yields less than the Forum cut of GSC =) It was back in the day, and I didn't preserve the pheno, but I'm sure they could be found again in the LA con packs..

I couldn't find the CP Durban Pheno, however I did find pics of the F1-Durban that was used in GSC and CP.
