Hell yeah budman. Those d-trains look heady as funk. Come over and check out my grow thread when you get a chance.

I can't tell you how excited I am about these damn dtrains. They are so sexy. I'm getting closer to chop and my heart is beginning to pound. I need to fill up my jars. Haha and there will be no guests for the next couple weeks!!!

great job dude

Thanks homie. The supersoil is it bro.

Just. Add. Water.

new 4x12 phat filter in place...at the 11th hour too.

it was getting stinky in there...

today is 7 weeks. i am in the home stretch. two more weeks. i am still a little concerned about a couple dtrains that are still pretty green. i like to chop colorful ripe plants...in my first run with SS i am getting some good colors, the fans are lightening up (some more than others) but def more green i would like.

the dtrains are def swelling. the blue widows seem to be in a holding pattern, nothing spectacular happening over there...connie chung is frosty as hell, bright colorful pistils and calyxs, but still green as fuck...def no fading with this momma

Them temp been gettin lows I wanna see some deep purples. A couple phenos are changing but the the temps haven't been as low as I like. Also, I mixed up three 32gall cans worth of SS. My friends want to buy cans from me. I just made enough for three free batches of SS.

It's perfect for new growers also.drop off a plant to a handicapped person, just add water. It's great for disabled growers. Can you tell I love it??!?

I have a slight dilemma and want other to weigh in on it?

Plants will be ready for chop around the 18 or 19th. I'm going out of town from the 25th to the 29th.

Chop on 19. Hang for 4 days jar and two and then I leave. I need time to burp jars?!?

The other option is let plants go long and chop night before I go out of town. Hang for 4-5 days, jar when I get home so I can burp jars. I am obsessive with curing slowly and properly and I think in this case taking the plants longer might be the thing to do.

Ideas?

If I was in your case I would probably let them go long and just watch to make sure their not going too far.

I don't know how you usually trim/dry but you could hang them whole with leaves on to try to slow the drying process if you needed to. Like say they were getting reallly amber a couple days before you leave.

Best of luck bud, I'd be nervous about leaving freshly jarred buds alone without burping but I'm not an expert by any means on the subject.

I think leaving them jarred up is out of the question. Leaving them hanging in the tent is better than stuck in jars with no fresh air

I barely trust anyone to watch the grow while I'm gone, and managing drying/curing is something I've learned can't be left to someone else.. :shucks:

My gut says that if you can't safely have 'em cut/dried enough to leave 'em in jars for 4 days, .. I'd leave 'em on the stalk in the meantime, and chop 'em the day you get back.

If the question is "Should I leave potentially too-wet buds in jars for 4 days unattended and unburped, OR should I harvest 4-6 days late?" .. I'd choose the later harvest - at least you can control the processing afterwards..

Good luck! Whatever you do, it won't be the wrong decision - just make sure you can apply maximum TLC after the chop, .. :)

If I cut them before they got bone dry that would go along way with giving my five days away. They would be plumped up when I cut

Not a bad idea either, .. Take 'em down after they've had a good thirst-quench, and hope that'll let 'em ride on the drying line while you're out of town..

I dunno though - that's always the most important part of the process, IME. How long does it usually take your batches to dry? What's the RH where you dry?

I'd just hate to say "YEAH DO IT!" and then you come home to crispy flowers. :yoinks:

its really the only option....i can control to the humidity for the most part...i usually let em hang for four days....so, this shouldnt be too bad. I also am obsessive about curing and burping jars...these are some seriously tight colas so hopefully that will slow the process down...

stay tuned brahs and brahettes

i am going to take them all roughly 68days...which is about 5 days after when nugbuckets take his dtrain keeper...

i believe this one will be ready to chop before a couple of the other (barely any cloudy trichs today) but they will all have to go around 68...im going to spend all night tuesday chopping and hang them up early wedneday day....they will be hanging up with the fan dialed down to %50 for five days...i think it will be just fine...i usually keep em up for about that long.

day 68 might do you justice.... that seems about the right time....

not gonna have much choice...im on nanner watch. not that i expect them or have reason to believe they are coming. just me being prudent and careful. bc of the variance in phenos and yield...my goal of a lb has been reduced to 12 ozs...

day 68 will be STONEY. cannot wait to fill my jars
