^ This is one of Fuck Show selection #3's top flowers. You can observe..the essence of bud rot. I'm pulling her early (she was going to be the longest flowering expression...flushing around 2wks..I'd have flushed her 2 more for perfection)

She has a lot of girth...I promise you...within this current weather system (overcast...in the clouds...humid and rain expected) if I don't take her out....she'll be enveloped in rot...deep in the centers of her flowers.



This is what you must do. Make command decisions...bust your ass...take your lumps...free yourself in the pain. The will to conclusion

* The next decision will be about what to do with Fuck Show selection #1. The fattest of the fat...the hefty bitch of soul...seemingly oblivious to the weather...oblivious to even herself...but is there rot at her core?

Cultivator's choice..she is closer to being done than #3...no issue there...she could be called ripe. I want to push her further...but do risks outweigh gains? She's so proper fine...it'd be tragic to maim her now....then there are also logistic factors

Man...you must stay in tune with situations...don't lose yourself in thought

The scissors blades lobbed over the canopy..exploding above...cutting away targeted flowers. What was taken in this barrage of selection #3...were any flowers showing probable mold cotton webbing...that would indicate a rotting of inside flower flesh. Not all the flowers showed the signs...so those were left to ripen on the vine

Here's #3 now...still has something to offer



SPE= Superior Plant Expression

Expression #1 as she stands. Gnarly as hell. Funny how they can be selected in veg. There's no touching her...a fantastic machine. I've looked inside her flowers...so far have not seen any signs of a problem.

She is so thick though...having to be very wary...she's close to the boat... but I'm letting her take out more line....letting her run herself out....yet if I have to...I'll draw her to the surface and drive the harpoon in



* Comes to me...that breeding plant expression for indoor performance...doesn't always transfer over well into the outdoor environments. Totally different game.

** The damaged colas off the #3 expression have been processed down to nugget sizes...any rot/black cut out. I'm letting those nuggets dry in an open cardboard box. The plant for sure needed at least another week...but some flowers were more ripe than others. Damage was consistent mostly to the very inner of the flowers. The majority of the buds were salvageable.

I read an article the other day of a guy in SoCal that was fishing off the pier when he hooked a 8-9 foot white shark and began reeling it in, when someone informed him that they're protected... so they took some pictures and cut the line, I was thinking to myself... that sounds like something Pablos would get himself into... LOL

sucks about the mold but, you know the game outdoors, you have to expect some % loss every year. Better early than moldy.

I've said all along this expression is the most Indica driven sister...one would probably be able to speculate...the Katsu Bubba is showing through. She's a big block motor...mass amounts of torque...geared down low...to get off the line. She's also...I'm finding out...been built with a top end.

That's to say...she has been flushing for 2wks...faded very little...gulping deep gasps of air...totally living off stored fuels...and showing little effort questing survival. A reliable...balanced and blueprinted beast of a motor. Her build sheet tells no bullshit. She'll out fuck anything put up against her



* demonstrating what it is...to pick your expressions in veg. Proof is in the pudding. If you go back over the last year of the PPP...you will take note...I don't miss in my #1 selections. There is no smoke and mirrors in the documentation process. All are selected early in veg....it's there for examination

** "It's not hard to do with great genetics" Mostly true...but there are still unknowns in expressions...and more importantly...being able to tune in to...the subtleties of expression..is..without a doubt...an important trait in any breeder. Anyone can calculate whole #s...but landing on fractions is an art form

Not for every situation/headspace,anyway... Maybe I'm just to soft. It took me a few years to work my way up to pruning,bending and tying stuff properly. Quality of the flowers can be compared to anything that I can grow indoors...not really any flaws to note.

Over the last couple of years I have slowly changed my thoughts on outdoor cannabis, and that, the right right strain for the right environment in certain spots on the globe i.e. the mediteranian, south asian, south american etc (and CALI o'course)... can, when properly grown, at least compete with if not exceed the quality of some of the indoor grown "Elites."


curious if you ever heard from fuzzy about those China Syndrome's?

My thought process is that acclimating plants plays an important role in their population success. Part of the reason why I don't believe in growing equator Sativas indoor/greenhouse....or anywhere other than on the equator. It can be done...but I don't believe the results will be as good. I'd rather just go where they are grown.

Location is a constant theme in the PPP...as I perceive what I'm doing as....making my own tailor made landrace...even if the population design does not expand beyond the boundaries of my indoor studio...and backyard pit.

* It's obvious that not all expressions will work out. Fuck Show expression #3 is an example of a plant...that has issues with my pit environment....and therefore is written off as a malcontent....non desirable expression. Certainly...she'll be good to great smoke...but if she's not going to adapt to the environment...I'd have no use for her expression. If I see her likeness again...I will cull.

** I'm a fan of both my #1 and #2 expressions...as they performed as I envisioned (turned into what I thought they would)....even though...they are different expressions. Differences in a F1 population is often not a whole #....meaning the population will often appear to be uniform...so you must be able to sense/recognize the subtle differences (good or bad)...those little fractions...that are the big differences.

*** It's worth repeating again....I don't believe in IBLs or uniformity. I believe in likenesses...percentages...and my visions. If I'm looking for a likeness to fit my vision/concept...I just mash genetics that get me in the ball park...and then play percentages. Partially science...partially gut instinct. It works. It's very simple.

**** Yield wise...The Fuck Show girls deliver. I've also sampled early harvested bottom sample nuggets from #1 and #2....cousin we are in business. Really happy.

***** Properly grown outdoor can compete with indoor...as long as plants are well protected from the elements. I find outdoor growing more difficult....but also...more fun. I don't feel so dirty when growing under the sky.

Dude...I get stoned and write these things up...christ...I have to go back over my previous blogs just to make sure they are somewhat organized inline with what I was attempting to say. I'm content to just localize my concepts...in fact...I'd feel successful if I could get the majority of my mashes to play along. The truth is...it comes down to being objective and honest with what you create. That's the only way to make the thing progress into something else...

I want to be my favorite breeder....I want to be the source. God knows...I've had a lot of help from my friends.

Bugs giving it their best fight as the temp changes and not in their favor. Late Gila Monster crossing the highway saved by my lady as she drives home. Traffic redirected by the powerful girl in the jeans and Chambray shirt....in favor of the wildman......What kind of woman is she you wonder? It's a good question. Keep pondering and one day I'll tell you how.

For sure the weather is changing...nights are now under 50 degrees...clear skies allowing all the day heated air to lift way up...high. Days are comfortable in the 80's/90's...dry and breezy.

I spent a few hours yesterday finishing off the pit grow. The end was pretty uneventful...I had the bottoms of selections 1 and 3 to finish off...some nice quality and weighty flowers...aged/flushed fine to the tune....

Already moving on...took apart the pit...backfilling it with compost for the winter cooking. The provisions for summer mediums.



Ground squirrels made a real mess behind the tarps and plywood walls....I shot at least four of those bastards through the course of the summer season. They are some of the most destructive varmints a gardener will come across out here. Terminate with extreme prejudice.

* I don't know exactly when I'll start running my indoor again. I'm in no hurry...and really lack the motivation to begin with. Burned out....tired of being locked down to the slavery of manipulating an indoor garden. I don't get a hard on for indoor.

** My veggie gardens are in a transition...a lot of work...spread out in any spare time...within a never ending circle. I'm harvesting...processing...and preparing for the October Garlic planting. I've managed to produce a fair amount of food this year...but it doesn't end there. There is no end. You must understand.

*** I've smoked samples from all the Fuck Show sisters. Great smoke/I'm happy. In it....selection #1 leaned to the Katsu Bubba, selection #2 is very close to the Hell Hound mom, and #3 has a heavy dose of Odessa....all of which...get me really high with funky flavors off the vine and uncured. Most the flowers are indoor quality

EDIT: I'll show you dudes some more manicured Fuck Show flowers sometime soon. I'm not down playing the harvest...just been busy with life...and the finished product is note worthy...so I'll come back with some shots. The high off this stuff is head slamming....I've been smoking nothing else for the last week or so....I mean...I have dried nuggets stashed all over the place...you know..like I'll see a tasty looking chunk and set it aside. I can't even remember where all the stashes are...but..they are usually in some off the wall location

* been training pretty hard...my regiment of stretches is helping me get through my cramp issues (though I do wake up every night uncomfortable)...been using the Mag oil (I apply it pre run...so I'm a salty looking thing out there) consistently...and should know the results in a few more months as it takes some time to really work.

Running the best I've ever run. A whole different set of doors are opening up for me. Can't really explain it to you though....but my conditioning is taking me out and out

>>>>EDIT: I did not document...but sometime last week I took the 2 big tops off selection #1. While checking them (remember everyday diligence) one morning I saw a patch of bud with leaves turned yellow...an indicator that there would be trouble with rot on the inside. I decided to harvest the two big colas...to be better safe than sorry. Those are now cut into smaller pieces and curing in a jar. There was rot here and there...but nothing sickening.

These two colas..they were very fat....but their insides were rather leafy strings of bud covered with shit loads of resin glands. The lower flowers I harvested yesterday are not as fat...but are still nice and hefty. Overall...I'd deem these kinds of flowers...more typical to a hash plant. The guts of the flowers are more resin than flower meat....

This is sure the truth. Big batch of plants start out looking so similar until you hold them a little closer to the light, so to speak....and that's the point where one's personality/tendencies/responses come into play.

In my last edit..had been talking about the insides of the Fuck Show selection #1 colas. These are some examples of what they look like...how they trimmed out to be more dense but stringy (not sativa stringy) smaller nuggets. They didn't trim out in any uniform sense..all different little nugget structures going on.



Really easy to snap a couple of these up...roll them inside a paper...toke them down. Still not cured...only picked last week...but still fun to smoke. Potent and funky.

Going to smoke a bit more...then go run from my home...up a trail...get some time in.....few hours before the sun sets...it's a breezy 90 degrees...with some clouds hanging over...providing a nice sweaty atmosphere...to wander around in....flushing in the Flow

These flowers have been hanging a couple days. Tonight....I'll be making the time to put the final manicure on them...cut them down into smaller pieces...dry them in cardboard boxes for the next couple days...then put them in the cure jars.

So these are some of the tops from the 2nd harvests of Fuck Show selections 1 and 3. I'll have yet another bucket of smaller colas to manicure after these. Then...the Fuck Shows will have been butchered up....and the saga will be complete...nothing to do...but kick back and smoke it all up

......O wait...I'll have to make the hash up..forgot about that chore..and and...and...still have a bucket of Hell Hound trim in the freezer...so I'll have to make that up as well. A ball of Fuck Show and a ball of Hell Hound it shall be.........



This stuff...The Fuck Show...is fairly outrageous. In the F1 it probably has too many varying ingredients to have its own personality. But if I had to...I'd say that selection #2 would be the expression that options off into one thing becoming another thing.

As that selection is a close representative of the Hell Hound "Premium" mother plant....and as the Hell Hound cross...I believe...will become a distinct mash in itself (within a few more generations)...I'd be more inclined to just stay within Hell Hound.

I'm not so sold on the Katsu Bubba Kush adding so much favorable...that I'd spend long amounts of time...chasing down expressions in Fuck Show. I mean in the end....adding Bubba G to Hell Hound is fun and all...but not necessary.

...And that's the logical...objective...honesty...a Masher like myself must have within them. Why complicate what is already working on the pathway of a Hell Hound?

they sure got plenty frosty! im just getting ready for round two of pollen chucking,got a few rounds of f2's and a dozen or more new crosses to make,plus i just popped 6 more packs of seeds for f2's and further chucks o de pollen...fun stuff....got some serious beginners luck going on the first cross,turning out pretty nice so far,dense like neutronium frosty like the north pole baby!

Absolutely. All 3 Fuck Show sisters are covered in resin. They have that in common.

The smoke is very potent...and it is also excessively funky tasting...a deep earthy humid flavor...it sinks in the back of your throat and hangs there. Interested to see what a good cure does...but having no problem smoking the stuff without cure.

It's not a light heady smoke. This stuff fucks you up. I've been running after taking in deep semi hyper inhalations...like a real quick chain smoke of 1/2 a joint. Sends the head reeling...I don't fully come around for a few miles..a heavy infusion of strong cannabis can do that
