{EDIT} *THERE ARE NEW HARVEST SHOTS ON PAGE 2!*{EDIT}

i have been posting a LOT of pics the past few weeks in my grow diary, but i thought i would post a few of my better pics here...

i must warn you, my best pics are average compared to most of you guys, i'm using a digital camera that hasn't been relevant in like 5 years...im just glad it's not glitter pink like EVERY camera under 300 bucks these days seems to be.

anyways here is my little grow and harvest, the first set of pictures is from the week or two leading up to harvest. this is a 56 day c99 pheno, smells of Tahitian treat punch and juicy fruit gum...it's incredible. i had the grapefruit/pineapple pheno's as well but they took 9-10 weeks to ripen and lost all flavor when drying, they also couldn't touch this plant for potency, almost nothing can that i have tried since...my c99 cuts through everything!

anyways as i stated before these first 10 pics are from days 38 through 52...about a week before harvest.

and here are a few pics of yesterdays harvest, i run perpetual so i harvest half my cab every 28 days, this isn't a full harvest cause i picked 6 or 7 plants over the past week or two for myself and friends...that amounts to about a quarter of the harvest.

in the last pic you can see the next two runs, 35 plants on the left at day 28 and 39 plants on the left on day one of budding. you may also notice a few skunks in there, i use them when my c99 clone mom isn't big enough to give me 40 clones at once, i don't like the skunk at all, i hate that sweet skunk smell! besides that the skunk wants like 10 weeks so it gets picked early every time, i hate trying to get rid of it afterward so i always try to minimize the amount of them i have to put in.

dude !!!!! i grew wally's c99 F5 and found a GREAT pineapple indica pheno that flowered in under 8 weeks, tasted like a pineapple jolly rancher (if they had one) yielded great and was the most potent plant fuckin ever - NO CEILING AT ALLL !!
i also grew pure kush from mendo while i had the cut - the c99 would get me more retarded then a n AAWWEESSOOMMEE kush cut

if i could get my hand on more of wallys work i would buy like 5 or eight packs

LOOKIN GOOD SLOTH MY BROTHA - I LOVE CINDY AND AM HAPPY TO SEE HER MAKIN OTHER PEPS HAPPY TO !!!!!

thanks! although as far as i knew there was only one c99, from brothers grimm, since the original c99's are no longer available a bunch of other companies are making f2's and s1's off of the original genetics, but they are all basically the same stuff right? i mean mosca's c99 has the same genetics as gypsys...cause they didn't add any new genetics they just made the next generation of the same strain created by brothers grimm...i guess if wallyduck has been further breeding them 5 generations past brothers grimm they could be a little better, but do they have less vigor than f2's? ive read the more you backcross and inbreed the slower each generation tends to grow...

i figured that because of that the only difference in female seeds, mosca, or gypsy among others was the quality of males and females used and in female seeds case, how well they reversed their plants(not very well if you ask me!)... i guess i could see that after 5 generations wallyduck could end up with less of the weak pheno's and more of the potent ones...so i suppose it makes sense that one could be better than the others, i was always under the impression that you could find the exact same pheno's in every breeders c99, but some might tend toward one pheno or another, or be more likely to hermie from poor sex reversal tactics...

be that as it may i feel i got one of the better pheno's...i know a lot of people talk about the grapefruit pinapple ones as being the most potent but i didn't find that they were, and i have NEVER grown a pineapple smelling plant that held it's flavor into the jar...my problem is i got mine from female seeds and it tends to hermie a tiny bit for no reason at all, like all of their stock does...so eventually i'm going to go through another breeder, to try and find a very similar pheno to the one i have now, but one thats genetically more stable, an f2 not a feminised s1

try mosca brotha - they are awesome and you are right
the was only one c99 form the brothers Grimm and the seed stock from their release has lead to the strains preservation and works from other breeders.
the difference in quality of seeds or stability of genetics will have to do with the breeders choice of parents and theyr style of breeding ( selfing or choosing males and females )
gypsy's c-99 male is pretty famous and is a good one - all of dutch growns cindy hybrids are using his male...
dont know much about moscas pheno selection that lead to his c-99 BX line but i hear nothing but great things about his line and i have a few pack waiting their turn so when they are up ill let you know.

the F5 breeding was Wally's way to stabilize a certain short, quick blooming, super pineapple indica into its own true-breeding line....i liked his work and wish i still had my pheno form his stock. i didn't notice the plants being less vigorous the my others but i haven't grown any other c-99 seeds so i have no frame of reference, the were not slow or tired thought, but quite zesty and strong

Mosca and Gypsy's cindy line have the same genetics in them (from the grimms) but the difference is what specifics alleles (traits) each of their chosen phenos expressed, and there for passed on to there offspring...so each c99 has a different expression of the same genetic material passed down from original line

hope this helps and keep it frosty brotha - buyin seeds made with males will help reduce the plants tendency to herm...most of the time !!

rock on and smoke and cindy bowl form me brotha !!!! hydro

Although I thought Wally was only selling the C99 crosses he bred, my samples came directly from the man himself so I guess it could have been straight C99. The 3 types of bud I had were nice though, and I appreciated him letting me try some.

sounds like a privilege my brotha - hes a talented dude and im sure his herb was top notch. was it indoor or out ?
the seed pack said C-99 F5 pineapple pheno .... i miss her

hydro: Yes, I was very lucky and I just wanted to gloat a bit... :D
Wally does all his stuff outdoors.
I also noticed those F5 seeds after I posted here, thanks. Found someone who's still got a pack.

well i kinda half assed my first photo dump...i just realize most of those pics above are of the same plant, here are some more...

first i have some almost dry buds, they are in the jar now but at the time of the pic still probably had a day to go, then there is some sole hash i made by putting a cellophane of kief in my shoe and walking on it all day.

after that there is a bunch more pics of my buds, along with some medical wax i got from Colorado...to think you lucky assholes can just go buy this stuff whenever you want...

i may post some more in a few weeks when the next batch is almost ripe...

here are a few pics, a couple days before this months harvest, which will be tomorrow morning...left side is at day 54 right side is at day 26...Trust me, it's even danker than it looks, cold temps have made about 25% of lower calyxes go purple, and the smell has gone from fruit punch to fruit punch gasoline, to finally fruit punch and garlic butter...it smells like a chemdog crossed with a c99...just an amazing, complex smell than i can't wait to try, every harvest of this clone before smelled of straight fruit punch, nothing more...

Very nice senorsloth!

I just started playing with Mosca's BX1 which I believe is a cross of Wallyduck's x Reefermans lines.

well i am finnally done trimming, it was about 5-6 hours of total work...it yeilded a very pleasent suprise...i thought i had only planted 35 clones in this bed but i actually had 39, so all last month i had nearly 80 plants under 400w hps via hortilux eye...next week im switching to metal halide i think...just to see if the hoopla is true...

anyways here they are...plants averaged around 5 grams, i know this by using a formula i created for these girls, basically i recorded the wet weights, dry weights, stem weights and leaves of individual girls so that i know with my plants...a 22 gram plant(trimmed of leaves)is usually 2 grams stem and 20 grams bud, which dries to 5 grams...these girls were drier than when i came up with the formula's so i'll likely yield about 5-6 grams on half of them 4-5 on a quarter, and 2-4 on the final quarter... either way it will dry to about 3/4 a gram per watt...next round i don't have any runts, while this round i have several, so i am really hoping to crack the gram per watt next time...
