What are UK commercial grower growing now?

Just done a room full of conni casey jones and chem jones
The caseys the biggest yielder ive seen in 10 years of comercial growing in the UK and will now be our main strain......... The smokes out of this world, and it only takes a extra week over our critical mass
The chem jones is a great yielder, better smoke and can put out weight to equal critical mass, top 44, ak47, mango etc etc
Theres some great stuff coming from conni genetics this year, its just a shame they dont seem to sell much in retail head shops so i dont have to order by post

i bin readin up a bit on the grateful casey from CGS and it seems she's a bit stretchy 2foot plants finishin at 5foot is wot i read.

Well that's a 2.5x stretch so not too bad, I'd gues they'd need support in a coli and we could prune for a columnar growth, so all doable.
I've done JoJo's Crystal Loco in a coli so anything's possible
Whether its worth the work for the return is the question.
Cost/benefit analysis.

I usually flower at 6 or 7 inches for a single cola utilising every space, or 10-12 inches when using alternate spaces and 3 colas. This gives me potential max of 3 foot [ish] till they touch the cool tubes.

i wouldnt run casey in a coll pal
not unless your using rox or flowerdragon or some other pgr
and even then its gonna be a pain in the arse, its a v stretchy strain with too much old school thai type stretch in it for collis
try critical mass or ak chronic, chronic in particular is great when growing sog or coll style due to the minimal stretch and good side branching

i find casey will stretch 2.5 times but only if its a decent size plant, with small clones ive seen it go from 6 inch to 5 ft and anything inbetween depending on training
id hate to try to train 200 in a colliseum tho
saying that you sem to have run a few differnet strains so theres nothing to say you cant dial it in nicely after a run or 2

not to be funny bro but its won a few too many awards to be shit, ive got a few great phenos of chronic, theres some good, some bad, like all strains
I assume you grew out a few packs, then selected the best one then cloned it and filled rooms THEN had your dramatic faliure
or did you just pick the wrong pheno

sorry but i have had shit out of a pack of chemdog, AK47, Sourbubble etc etc
theres always shit phenos in there, chronic has its fair share, your juging it on your POOR selection of pheno like all genetics

I am prepared to believe that there is a special keeper pheno out there somewhere but I didn't find it in 30 beans. And if I can't find anything decent in 30 seeds then that tells me I should give up looking. There were two or three phenos that I found :
Cabbage pheno - looks like cabbage and tastes of cardboard, with a boring high.
Hay Meadow Pheno - looks and smokes like a lump of dry hay, bland hit, something like a mild migraine effect.
Horseshit and bus tickets pheno. Take horseshit and roll into used bus tickets. Nuff said.
One man's meat etc...

i agree here no keeper from 30 dont bother with anymore
there stuff out there with keepers to be had from a single pack
i had the hay pheno
and a 12week sat pheno low yield
nothing special really
the ak48 fems were better lol
simon reworked them all after 1998 and from what i hear there inferior to the pre 98 stuff

Ran eight girls from two packs when purchased back in 2002 , high yield but lacking in every other aspect , hay sounds about right and none were kept.
Worse than T44 in flavour but a similar yield and an easy trim , the older stock must have been better as i remember smokeing some good stuff way back.

ive got a few packs of each going but have read that ak was reworked after simon lost his mother plants in a raid years ago
i hope that doesnt just mean that they germinated a load of ak seeds and selected some good ones and started again
