I once worked a 129 hour week and my wife was POed. I told her the next week would be less hours. She was still mad even after only working 126 hours the next week.

 Thats some funny shit man. Lucky for me I don't have a wife to get PO'ed, and my girl knows better than to complain about me making money. She hates not seeing much of me, but likes the other benefits .

Thanks everyone for the condolences. Life goes on I guess... I've learned from the situation, and am applying it to daily life. This year has been full of personal growth.

I saw this quote today:

“If you want to increase your success rate, double your failure rate.”
Tom Watson

And then this one:
"I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed." Michael Jordan

And then yet another:
"Many of life's failures are men who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."
Thomas Edison

Anyway... I'll be back next week. :) hahaha...

This remote grow seriously keeps kicking me in the balls... lol... I went back and the timer for the water pump for the veg tables had fallen out of the wall. IDK how it happened, it's obviously my fault... Half of the plants in veg were dead... being all the biggest and best that I was about to flower cause I hadn't transplanted them yet... and they were still in cups. There's something to be said for using over-sized pots as backup for "oh shit" situations like mine... So I guess I'm gonna need to rework my veg a bit to accommodate more/larger bags.

So even with my setback... I have enough plants in veg that I'll still be ready to roll next week. It's w/e. I'm back to being pissed off at the blumats... but overall they're doing a good job. Just a few plants drying up.

Octagon @ 3 weeks now. Maybe little more cause I started flowering and vegged for 2 weeks before flipping again... The yellow leaves are plants that dried out. I might have had 1 casualty. I'll know next week. This room is far from dialed but it's a lot better than what I've been doing.

Wow looks great!

Wow looks great!

Good job man, looks like your going to have a nice crop in that room!
I bet that's going to be some good quality smoke too.

I played with the blumats a little and just had the pots sitting on the shop floor. With coco and about 25% perlite I noticed the tensiometer I have would fk up if I let the medium get just a little dry.
Like it looses its prime or something, and I have to set it up all over again.
I chickened out and am just spending a lot of time hand watering this crop. Looks like you about have everything ironed out, hope everything is going good for you, you sure earned it bro!
Best to yah...Hazed

wow that Straw DD looks amazing!

I've been telling you for how long to run her now? She's as close to the Chem D as any plant I've ever grown... but she's younger and can perform better than the Chem D imo... except in potency. I haven't got the Straw DD to put out buds as potent as the Chem D... Straw DD definitely has more yield and stretch though.

Let's not exaggerate... There is some tip burn. :) I'll tell you what the difference is between being there all the time and stopping in for 2 consecutive days a week... about 4-5% thca... and decreased yield. I guess the only way to get good at absentee growing is to practice... Just like anything else. Gotta make the mistakes to know what not to do later. It's just too bad it's my only location right now.

Straw DD is original strawberry diesel x chem bx1. I grew the seeds, and found a stellar pheno. USD is original strawberry diesel x ((C99xamnesia haze)x(LUIxbluemoonshine)) or something crazy like that... So they're half sisters, but definitely not the same plant. The chem is good at 9.5 weeks, but better at 10. :)
The other spot will be ready to go soon enough... :)

Yeah next week I'll take some close ups... but I was too lazy to cut the lights this last time. This crop is definitely turning out more like what I would normally grow... Which makes me feel that I should keep growing some larger plants for a while.

I'm far from having everything ironed out tbh... But I'll get there by the time I'm ready to shut this house down I'm sure. lol... I'm definitely not a fan of the blumats for remote grows. DTW rules.

Things are definitely looking up bro

Thanks D... Let's just say I'm on the road to recovery.

Been real busy over at the new house... I have to make it liveable before I make it grow-able. In another month I should be back on my way to growing world-class herb... Instead of just growing some weed.

Thanks, thanks a real lot. Some of us can only grow mite infested, moldy, fluffy, airy, ditch weed, but to be insulted is just beyond the pale. Us old bald fat Joba the hut looking dudes don't appreciate it at all. Right Mega?
