im not missing anything your hole argument is based on trying to justify the stupidly high price , trying to imply and suggest that this alien tech is somehow special , or somehow better than allllll the other Afghan genetics that are on the open market !
smarten up its just a marketing ploy , good Afghans are ten a penny , proven well respected tried and tested ones , deep chuck , pck ,afghan 1 , available at a honest price

a. 150 bucks is the market rate look on the sites your self maybe your gettin them cheaper but 150 bucks is the price
b. sounds like that justifying again, that i spoke about, the illusion of exclusivity to inflate prices
c . all those strains apart from the clone only are avilible for half the price of these alien seeds .................. so again the question has to be how can the stupidly high price be warranted ???
answer is it cant ........................... its a rip off

Alien the breeder is a super kool guy & very helpful.. He is very kind & lends a helping hand when ever he can.. I'm almost done flowering his Lemon Alien Dawg & Fruity Pebble OG & juss popped some Galactic Tahoe.. Aliens gear is 4real I've only seen killer grows with his gear.. The Lemon Alien Dawg I'm growing is a great producer with killer lemon

These pics were taken a few weeks b4 the chop there being flushed.. I'm gunna pick them anyday now..I even had a major salt build up & super high temps caused some heat stress & they still came out great..

150 bucks is far end of the pricing mate, look about theres plenty of other good breeders who have it, your whole rip off argument is based soley on a single breeders prices.. thats narrow minded!

well im not talking about other companys useing his genetics im talking about the real seeds from the breeder !
Jesus you can get alien cross's on seedbay for 30 or 40 bucks and thats all there worth imo !

just to clarify... The whole Alien Genetics all stems from Obsoul33t.... Someone he knew (a US soldier i assume) brought back the seeds from aghanistan.
So yes they are just aghani seeds... But they could be like 'guy fawkes' is saying, and possibly the soldier got some truly special heirloom seeds that come from 100's of years of selecting.

It's comical seeing people bitch about a price difference of about an 1/8 of weed, which is what we're talking about here. 'OH MY GOD IT'S $50 MORE THAN THE STANDARD PRICE!!!' A single branch or 2 off 1 plant will pay for the whole pack. WTF is the problem here lol?
I have no ethical setbacks leading my seed buying purchases. Yes I'd rather pay less of course, but the bottom line is if I want something I get it.
Is there something wrong with marketing any hype? It's called business. If I have a product I'm gonna market any hype the shit out of it. If the product is good, which so far what I'm seeing personally the answer is yes it's very good, then I see no problem with charging more for it. If you want to pay less go to the server fund.

i don't buy weed or sell weed ............... hence the reason i grow my own , so that's a none issue to me personaly
and if something is priced at twice as much as the market value of proven tried and tested respected products ............................. hey call me old fashioned but i ask why ?
and there is no answer to why, its simply about been over charged and ripped off imo !
but good luck to anyone who buys them hope they find a winner

No a rip off is what I'd say my most recent experiences with DJ Shorts have been. Paid $150 plus for garbage on more than one occasion that I was barely able to give away let alone smoke personally.
Or my experience with Rez Dog's chemdog IBL where my plants had practically no smell and no keepers, or his sour Diesel IBL 2010, where you get plants that don't look or smell like sour diesel. That I would call a ripoff because I did not get what I paid for.
Not to say Rez doesn't have bomb skillz and genetics. I bought his Alpha Diesel way back and got one keeper out of 5 seeds (2 females), but my god what a keeper it was! Superior cannabis plain and simple. I was totally satisfied with that purchase, and it was quite expensive to me at the time. If it was available I'd buy it right now and pay $200 no problem for it.
I don't mind paying high prices but it damn well better be superior quality herbs I'm getting. If I get that it's an investment if not it's a ripoff.

The thing is not all hype means that something is actually good..alot of times it's just noons and trendoids trying to fit in and agreeing with the rest of the crowd..even if they dont even KNOW what the hell the strain is...its better to fit in,than stand out,atleast to SOME people...
Take for example this GSC hype/craze..as far as I can tell,its just another og kush cross..turns slightly purple and yields TINY TINY TINY 1g buds...
I dont see the appeal,or the hype..if I want a purple strain,I'd get Killing Fields..turns VERY purple,very frosty,BIG YIELDER,and smells like berries/fuel/lemon.....but you dont see a 300page hype thread about her.
So yes,Alien mighth be some straighth FIRE,but you wont really know until you try it.A strain has to have all the criterias met in order to be TRULY worthy of such hype..
