Wsup guys. Thanks for all the kind words.

I was caught up in one of lifes tornado's for a while. You know what they say, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

I gotta tell yall the craziest thing tho. I first stopped posting bcuz my laptop took a crap on me, and I had no secure way of posting....and I wanted to take a break from posting because I had so many real life issues to work on, browsing on IC for a cpl hours a day wasn't very productive.
Anyway, my room was humming along as usual, when I got my first real taste of spider mites. And they came on strong. I was pretty far into flowering and didn't want to do anything extreme. So I'd go in every cpl days and try some different all organic methods to try and slow em down.

So one day I go into the room to spray a habanero solution on the girls I had read about on another site (I was desperate, and it helped alot). So I turn off the ventilation, put on my goggles and get my sprayer. I do the deed and go about my day...and night.

You ever remember something out of the blue for no reason at all? I woke up in a frenzy in the middle of the night and ran to the room. I knew I was in trouble when I grabbed the door knob and it was hot. Not warm, hot. I forgot to turn the ventilation back on after treating the girls. So 1200 watts had been going in my small space with no airflow.
I opened the door and all I saw was crispy brown plant matter. Cooked. Just like your morning toast. I dont know how hot it was in there but it couldnt have been less than 250 degrees. The smell was not pleasant either. I didn't have many choices left, so I grabbed my hacksaw, a cpl contractor bags, and just chopped em right at the base of the pot. They were out of the house within minutes. Almost 2 lbs of goodness, gone just like that. I kept telling myself that it could've been worse, so I wasn't really all that depressed.

More bad news, I was planning on reveg'n whatever I needed from that grow. So after that lil ordeal, all I was left with was a 5" clone of my SFV Sour. Everything else was lost.

I didn't see anymore mites tho....LOL.

:)

I do have a cpl of small seedlings going. Getting ready for the fall. Feels good to be back. Thanks for the love guys

Christ Marlo, you went from not wanting to do anything "extreme," to scorched earth, in about .02 seconds.

:good:

Sucks about the loss of the flavorage, but even more so about the lack of genes. :(
