cookies in dep was looking like it had some seriously dark almost black leaves with a purple green hue on the undersides of leaves.

some stacking on the top colas but more of a og style bud pattern, but much denser and covered in trichs. She also seems to like to crawl a bit when shes playing outside, not a slouch in the least, but she does like to hang her dress down and let it flow on the earth.

Light deprivation.

This is used outdoors to make your plants flower earlier in the season. Tarp you plants to block light the same time every evening before sun down, in order to induce flowering early.

light dep is short for light deprivation. Basically forcing the plants to trigger into flowering and stay there bye pulling tarp over plants as to give them 12 hours of dark

so you have your light dep crop done right about now, and then your full season later

im real excited to see what some open sun GSC looks like...i keep hearing about how good all the blackbox stuff is looking but no one is posting any damn pictures and i cant find any on the market for a reasonable price..

Its prob cuz of the timing. Most people aren't quite desperate to get rid of their stuff yet. If it's good light dep they'll prob be getting decent money for it right Now.

It's weird to say but most people I know doing outs are stepping up their game and busting their ass to pull down their crops, making sure they come out fire so they don't sit around too much. They know if they just throw some shit out there and come back at the end of the season to harvest it might sit around all year and they'll get lowballed.
Theyre also saying they're not gonna take anything less than what they feel is fair. They figure if they do this the prices all around will go up.

I think it's BS though. There's so many OD growers I highly doubt them holding out will affect the market that greatly.

yea it makes sense....why grow crap and sell it for 12 a lb when you can put in a little more effort and get 18 locally or much higher out of state. people are adapting and tired of getting lowballed...that and combined with all the exporters who are a dime a dozen, cali prices are going back up!

that being said....this summer is gonna be a surplus of OD alot of people are going big and the weather is lookin nice...so enjoy the drought while it lasts because things will be much different in november.

every gram of my last black box was sold as indoor by the middle-man. and now that i grow indoor and can see no discernable difference between MY deps and MY indoor I don;t feel too bad about it. But light dep is truly the best of both worlds when done right. Short life span, well protected, somewhat controlled environment.

my plan was to JUST do deps this year. maybe throw something outside after the deps were down just because, but the main thrust of my summer activities were going to be deps.
