this is a thread worth subbing to, have no idea if this is a real hybrid
my understanding is no one has been able to cross fertilize cannabis and hops, though the plant pictured is interesting looking

Kind of looks like Duckfoot.

i was thinking the same thing, but i haven't seen many duckfoot pics, kind of a semi lost line(or not much grown)
as i understand it, the duckfoot mutation shows up regular in cannabis, rare but does repeat
which tends to favor this just being a cannabis leaf mutant of some sort

Wallyduck had a a Ducksfoot seedline many years ago. I think it's more popular in Europe, I know its still kept alive by a few people.

I did a google images search and most of the pics were on EU websites.

I just dont really see the point in plants like this. Yes they are stealth; but if flavor, potency and bag appeal isnt there, what is the point.

i looked into outdoor stealth strains like these
in veg, yes it may throw off some people
but during bud, that's another animal, they don't seem to offer much in stealth(if any) during flower
and cops and rippers really don't go hunting in the veg season, they go when the buds are ripe
so i agree, can't see these strains offer much stealth

Where does anyone say this has anything to do with Humulus, except you, now?

No one has claimed a hybrid since 1694, so I have to wonder why you made this thread.

It´s bs IMHO :D

"Trinidat is a mostly indica strain from KalySeedsCompany and this marijuana strain got its characteristics from its parents which are Northern Lights Haze and Jap.hop which is the antecedent of all pseudoacercannabis (PAC). Trinidat’s famous ancestors include Northern Lights #5, O Haze, Purple Star and HumulusJaponicus. It was propagated by KalySeeds for over 10 generations.
The first leaf it developed in January 2006 was damaged in Germany during a raid. The seeds that remained were planted on Spain. This strain has been crossed with several strains to produce another powerful strain. It has been crossed with Trinidat P2/m to develop Trinidat Gold, it was also crossed with Shaman to produce Green Yve and it has been combined with Durban Poison and Legitimo to produce SWAG Original. This amazing strain from KalySeeds is best cultivated in an outside location wherein it can receive enough sunlight and enough space to grow. Trinidat will develop a medium yield and height."

Swag.... lmao!

I see no such thing anywhere at their site (including the PAC page). The only mention of hops at their site that I saw was in the Trinidat Gold, where they say the leaves look like hops.

Ducksfoot is great smoke according to reports, problem is it looks more like weed when it flowers.
The plant in the picture does look interesting but the descriptions sound like gobblodeegook.

Why so much negativeness ? Has anyone actually grown any of the strains offered by KS ?
I find that quite interesting, and might even give a try to some of their stuff next year.

but i've never seen one with no serration.
that's the point ! :)
the leaves are too weird to be a duckfoot or duck cross imho. even the bud are weird on some plants.
sound interesting to me !
i hope this is not BS cause if not we perhaps find a possible answer for the creation of the duckfoot /webbed leaves plants.

the duck have a special taste (powerful and similar to hop) and hope to find something similar in those beans .
may be the guy don't tell us everything . he work with a lot of kind of cannabacae and may be in those there is a key to make hopXcanna possible.
"everybody knows that something can't be done and then somebody turns up and he doesn't know it can't be done and he does it." :)

The guy actually used Humulus Japonicus.

Yeah, wtf?wouldn't we have seen naturally occurring hybrids for years if it was possible? I tentatively call BS...

As far a I know, pseudoacercannabis is obtained through GRAFTING, not regular pollen fertilisation. So no, no naturally hybrids occuring, not possible.

definitely looks a lot like ducksfoot, but i've never seen one with no serration.

I guess it is because it is a young plant, mature plants have serrated leaves.

And for people calling on BS without having obviously done any search, here some pics of the original works

female plants, look at the flowers, these are NOT hops flowers.
