Yupeer! Those minis look nice. Planted in orderly fashion, as always in your garden. Recently I have helped my friends and there are somewhere plants smaller than your minis. Infact they are still in the phase of a cracked seed shell. I hope they showed after 1 day of rain and 2 days of sun. I'am going to take some pictures today so wish me luck.

Good going and keep IT UP!

Lookin good! Plz tell us more about Congolese Double Gold, how are the smell/high and what Congo was used?

The DASxPaki/TIS look healthy, I think they will stick to one main cola with small side branches, that's what they were bred for anyway, but who knows what pheno's will pop up :)

For breading CDG I've used CongoxGG by breederbrad and GG#3 pollen grown in Poland from Canadian beans.
CongoleseDoubleGold is nice stable cross, ready to chop here on 52N at the end of September. Last year I harvested them September 23, fully ripped. This year all CDG around are f2 beans from last year production.

Ok, here is mother of this cross, Congolese/GG. She was the fastest (harvest - Sept. 24) and the best yielded pheno of 5 plants I've had grown. She was the one with single massive cola structure.

Ande here are CDG, first generation grown in 2011 season:
They are quite small because of very late start (germination - begining of June).

Begining of Sept.

dont anybody know if the grandmother of this CDG is the la mano negra's (rip legend) Congolese that our canadian bro's enjoy so much???

I think the only way to know that is to ask BreederBrad.

I've PM him and hope to get answer for you question soon. Will let you know.

Ive been reading the deep congo thread, the congo used was not la mano negra's (bangi) but a line called "congo 3" which was given by a sailor who collected the best African seeds in his travels.

I imagine breederbrad also used this congo for gg x congo.

Funnily enough the congo 3 is actually a longer flowering and taller variety than the bangi congo.
Ace's congo hybrid is congo 3 x chitral, then crossed to bangi.

Little update from my magic gardens...

My balcony Triple Afghan Slam went to the wild last week. Hope she likes her new place. She has about 30 liter of good soil with cow manure, dolomite lime and handful of water crystal.
She was FIMed once and I'm going to repeat that operation once again in 2-3 weeks.

Next are 2 confirmed females of ManitobaMedicineGuerillaGold/BangiHazePurpureaTicinensis/OrangeBud x StinkyPinky.... wow soo long name. I'll call them Stinky Cross.
Both are growing nice. Last time I was there I LSTed one of them. Yesterday did the same to another one.

Unfortunately 4 of 5 Congolese Double Gold showed male flowers and I had to pull them out. Last remaining one is very little and didn't show its gender so far.

Here is one CDG male:

Next ones are HLRDT x HashPlant2 (left) and OG18SkunkxDanishGold (right).
There is also very little GG#3xManitobaMedicinexHashPlant.

Sorry to hear about those Congolese Double Gold males. Have you, by any chance, collected some pollen? These are genes I wouldn't mind blending into my gene pool...

TAS - one week in the forest. This plant I can meet very often because of the place she grows. TAS is quite late strain and I think I have alot of time for heavy LST before she start to flowering :headbange

zielonylasss- Do you have to worry about pests eating your leaves? Do you use bug protection?

Nice looking plots. The mini garden should be huge by the healthy looks of it.

Hey Bohempian, Very nice project you provide there! Wish you best of luck with finding that keeper pheno!

Yesterday I went to wilderness to see my main spot.
I had some work to do. Little clearing of surrounded bushes, topdressing with dolomite lime and high N batguano. And did some LST on few plants. Unfortunately I've broke one (biggest one) plant but I'm almost sure she will survive.

Sooo... pictures

First are 4 DanishGold:
