Medications we should probably all have?

Ativan and/or Xanax would be my choices. Not for me mind you, but for those up tight folks that grate on my last nerve! :ying:

Hey you dumb fucking FEDS.

Why call a Doctor? Just go to your local Highschool and find all the pills you want ( FEDS).
Shit, my JC that we live near, puts pharmacies outta biz with all their xanax.

Not being serious, but its funny cause this is all true.

Why dont they prescribe Morphine any more. Everybody thats on Opiates is on Hydrocodone or Oxy's...I dont want to start taking those 100x more potent then Morphine crap. If Morphine cant dull the pain I dont need it.

They dont call it practicing medicine for no reason lol

Why don't they ?? because it's a very dangerous drug over time like all our drugs.. Drugs are fine short term it's when you start using them long term is when you run into BIG problems that doctors can't fix. . Which is why they are trying to change this and rightly so. ANy drug that will KILL you if you stop is a BAD drug make no mistake about this.
Let me try to put this in other terms that will piss you off even more.. Doctor spend a total of 7 hours out of 7 years in school on pain!!
The drug company could have come up with a far safer better drug for ppl in pain but they have not because they make a HUGE amount of money on the drugs they have now so why rock the boat on the big supply in their warehouse??
Ppl in pain are second class citizens with zero rights imvho and doctors are real scum again imvho headband 707:tiphat:

I have many good books about medicinal herbs, but they're in my native language which isn't English. I googled "best medicinal herbs books" and found this list of books in English. Some seem OK. In my opinion, very few things can compare to the healing power of Mother Nature. We have created all these synthetic drugs which mimic natural substances, but most of them have serious side effects, whereas properly used medicinal herbs are much safer. I believe people should learn how to use medicinal plants—you'd be surprised how many plants there are that heal virtually every illness known to mankind.

Big Pharma doesn't want you to know about this, because they would loose tremendous amounts of money, if suddenly people knew how to treat their conditions with plants that grown naturally on the planet and can't be patented.
This is what is keeping Mj from being legal, no matter how many of us say it is safer, and better form of healing, the frickin big wigs say it never has been studied, or proven in a controlled test! And none of us say why the hell not when billions are spent on their same phama drugs!

Just sad we have been dumbed down to only think man made will trump nature, never, eva, eva, evaeva, wil it!

I see tumeric listed, what is a safe or average dosage daily? I have some in the cupboard and have wanted to try it. Supposed to be effective against cancer. 1 tsp maybe?

yesum, 1 tsp is no problem. You can cook curry and add some tumeric power in it. Usually, I use more then 1 tsp. Just don't wear any white clothes—once you get a tumeric stain it's very hard to remove it. :) You can also make tumeric tea (recipe).

I put a spoon of tumeric in my chili-gumbo stew that I eat every day, it does reduce my inflamation pain, and stains like a mofo.

Greek yogurt has been saving my life this week, from the toxic gas my system was/is producing. Just add sweetner.

Red rice yeast extract, this lowers cholesterol, I take lipitor, this does the same, maybe better, available in any vitamin section. This one taken daily can save you from heart disease.

milk thistle. easy to grow, expensive to buy in tablets. cleans yer liver, works good.

The inhaler thing

apparently they were done in due to the propellant eroding the ozone  i expect athsma is inculcated (eg. the use of diacetyl as artificial butter flavouring for microwave popcorn).

i have heard good things about using comfrey for athsma. it doesn't grow around here so i can't tell you. i just make sure i work out enough in the winters, or rub peppermint oil on my nostrils.

I miss the black pepper in the recipe for better absorption of curcumin.

Keep on growing :)
