heath inspired test prototype (aero)

smooth fhc! what is your method of rooting? lookin' forward to harvest numbers! :)

What up Bonz.. Home made aero cloner/veg system. I use straight up RO water with 10ml per gl of clonex. I keep the room on the warmer side and that keeps the water warmer as well until i get roots. One t-5 on 18/6 pretty high above the 4x4 table. 99% success.

i think that once you get it dialled the GH 3 part will give you better results in your system...

PBP is best for soil containers... GH GMB is what your system calls for anyway!

Yeah....as far back as I can remember Heath`s always used Ionic with dialed results cuz less is more and that`s where I learned it....but....He`s cross da pond and I`m down here so I made do with what I was comfortable with....and....

GH 3 part is all that too if yas run lower ppm`s across the board and don`t cause any lockouts/imbalances by shovin too much juice up the plants asses ...so....

That said....You`re runnin the fastest hydro setup there is and lower ppm`s will serve yas well cuz of almost immediate upake from the plants in a dialed aero setup....anyways....

Be careful with additives , but I`m sure koolbloom `ll work in late flower for swellage if yas keep ppm`s adjusted since it`s a GH product as well....

Gone to respond to yer PM....

Peace....DHF....:ying:......

The harvest is finished and the numbers are in after curring in jars over the last 3-4 days.

3.5 lbs. Thats 9 ozs higher then my last run. But still lots of room for improvement. Especially the new strain (adub) which averaged about 2-2.5ozs each. My plan is to monocrop it, as soon as i can get things in order.

Also, i had a bit of a disaster with the new run and killed about 10 plants 3 days into flower. It was a perfect storm of bad mistakes that led up to the onslaught.
(sprayed them with spectracide on moving day) forgot to plug in an intake fan and the room got hot and started frying the girls) All this while supplementing the new GH nutes with h2o2. The result was massive wilting and death.
I managed to save the rest and they are starting to get up and run. So i will manage to make it to the next harvest, but it wont be a big harvest.

Im happy with 3.5 on this last run. Thats a consistent higher yield every run. And looks like when i monocrop the new strain, my 4lb mark shouldnt be out of reach.

Cheers!

This is a fucking lifesaver for fuckups like that (we all forget to do something like plug our AC back in from time to time or empty the dehuey and it shuts off)............with the link below, you set alerts to let you know when your temp and/or humidity has gone too far in the wrong direction (texts and/or emails you, first year is free).

http://www.weatherdirect.com/default.aspx

Also is GREAT for logging temp and humidity every five minutes........lets you download an Excel file to truly see what your trends are (as opposed to a simple min/max). Here's the latest from my grow room.............fuck, can't cut and paste from Excel without the formatting getting fucked up, but hopefully you get the idea (my lights come on at about 9:15).

Anyways, it's $40 well spent.

What are you using to get your humidity so high during lights on? My whole house humidifier barely breaks 65% and 80F... So I try real hard to keeps temps as close to 75F as possible.

I'll let tommy answer, but i'd guess he's running a sealed room. Very easy to achieve high humidity in sealed enviroment .

Good luck on upcomin runs once monocropped Bro....Can`t wait ta see adubs in all the racks.....

3.5 lbs ain`t nuyhin ta sneeze at , but I`m waitin ta see 6 at least outta yas dialed and hoonin.....

Damnnnnn DHF you doin' it large. I had no idea you had that disco shit goin' on. Amen brotha, Amen!

Here dude I got you a :xmastree:

Bobble, that's one of the advantages of using the cool tubes that you all hate so much ;)

Used to run sealed, but the inability to keep smell contained without constant negative pressure and the outrageous electricity usage turned me off to that.

Now have a hybrid - a small fan (100cfm fan running 24/7) that still allows me to enrich with CO2 very well.

Love my new stup.

The plants have come back to life and are thriving! A week or so ago i thought i was gonna loose the whole crop. Its amazing how the plants respond in aero, good or bad. Also ive been only runnin one bulb while they recovered. But i may just run the one bulb the whole time.

Sometimes more ain`t better my buddy , but less than 50 per ain`t better either , so...

There`s a fine line between accelerated watts per sq ft snd quality of nuggage come choptime , proper dry , and cure with environment dialed...regardless...it`s.....

The little things and....less is more....but...Never saw more potential for yield increases than fast hydro done right , as in your setup once dialed....

Peace....Freds....:ying:..

The Adub wall is filling in nicely, a few more days and i will start to defoliate, open up the canopy and start tieing branches and spreading them out. This is the strain i want to monocrop. But, its gonna be a couple mixed runs before i get to that point.

008-2.jpg

And the Green crack wall. I defoliated these GC's 2x in veg according to the "defol high yield thread" and ive never seen such short internode spacing and the number of budsites before with this strain. (3 years ive been growin it)

They are ready for another pluck.

003-3.jpg

The other walls are doing just as well.

Farmhouse - Lookin real good in there  I'd fire those other two lights up asap though. Twas a good idea while they were stressed, but they are more than ready to be blasted again.

D

DHF

Never took the time to read that thread , cuz plant stress ain`t in my repetoire , and guaranteed recovery slowed vertical growth , but....guess it stacked nodes and formed budsites during the recovery , so....

I always had excellent success with sideways prunin , rapin and shapin under T-5`s right down on top of my bitches forcin stacked nodes and limbs....

Different strokes....similar results....all strain dependent.....

Can`t see the pics....Hook a Brutha up ....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:.......

DHF....for some reason the site wont let me download any pics? I try and i get an internal server error everytime? I really want you to see dammit! Need your guidance!

The defoliating during veg was a great way to slow my Green Crack down, This GC is super fast and rather then them get over crowded and start to stretch and get spindly i decided to do the defol. It stalled them just enough to keep them under control while stacking nodes and budsites. It worked awesome!!! I raped um of 80% of the fan leaves 2x over the 4 weeks. They slowed and adjusted then grew vigorous again. Im really excited about this technique! It helps to have plenty of time of course. And beacuse im not perpetual (at the moment) so yea one needs to have the time in there schedule.

im gonna try again with the pics.

D

DHF

I`m glad you`re learnin ta dial the GC and slow em down if that`s what it takes , cuz that`s what it`s all about.....

Learnin what ta do ta squeeze every gram yas can get out of em while dialin the sideways canopy ftw.....but....lil secret....

For shits and giggles , getchas a 54 watt 8 bulb T-5 fixture where 4 lights come on to acclimate em from the low light rooting fluorescents , and the 2nd switch turns em all on to harden em off with 432 watts......then.....

Put em right down on top of yer lil veglings with air exchange and see how they stack nodes and limbs.....but....maybe rapin em as you`ve done with the GC`s the ticket....dunno...always remember.....Strain dependent....shit can change....so.....

I just can`t wrap my head around fuckin with pre-veggers toppin/pinchin/supercroppin , all the above other than sideways punin , shapin , gettin rid of sucker branches on fliplings into the bloom rooms till after stretch.......but again....

It`s what works for increased yields from the perfect sideways canopy , so again it`s ....

Runs under yer belt and dialin yer bitches strain dependent period....and hey....

Uploadin pics here suck sometimes so I`ll be strong.....You keep up the good work....

Peace....Freds.....:ying:.....
