What is the lowest odor plant for indoors and is really potent?

I thought I had posted here, but it looks removed....
C99 has to be repeated. Very light, pineapple-ish aroma that does not overpower.

Island sweet skunk is very low odor, almost none, and grows well under CFL. It's a sativa leaning hybrid and seeds are available at a *very* reasonable price if you look around.
It's powerful strong, easy to grow and extremely hardy and well bred, consistent phenos, pretty much bulletproof.

that's real wieird cause i heard ISS is a real stinker

That's what I was going to say. I had asked a lot about that on my old turdcat account a couple years ago, and the answers were coming back stinky. I'm sure it's pheno dependent like anything else. I'll have to find out. I've yet to buy a scrubber. Got to.

You should really consider getting a good Carbon Scrubber (Carbon Filter) - then you can run any strain you want. You will be able to remove any smells during flowering and make sure you always stay safe. Why risk your freedom - when you can sleep well at night knowing your scrubber is covering up smells?

I would recommend a Can-Filter 66 or 100 with an inline fan.

This is the correct answer. For a few bucks you can keep your ass safe with can filters. A bust will cost you $10,000+ in attorney fees, court costs and fines, if not jail time.

There really is no excuse for not using a scrubber now days. The technology is there, use it. At the end of the day, marijuana smells like marijuana no matter the strain.

Man. Wish the Northern Lights over here was low odor. It stanks up the place. NL from peak...

Hmmm, currently have a stealth cab grow with BOG Bogglegum and PeakseedsBC NL#5. Wasn't sure which one (or if both) was causing the smell. The BOG Bogglegum has a very faint citrusy smell if you touch the stem. The NL wreak as soon as the door opens. I would say menthol, fuel, pine smells dominate on this one.

One other NL#5 pheno I have (from Peak)has very little smell, not sure yet how it stacks up for taste and potency though as both are still curing.

Thanks for helping me to confirm.

Odor for the most part equals taste....potency is found everywhere...are you looking for a blander smoke? That is not necessarily a sarcastic statement. Of course any strain can taste good if grown right...but will it be interesting, complex, surprise other people palates, and maybe even drop some panties? Maybe not....

So, I am in the camp that marijuana smells like marijuana when it is growing and there are maybe a couple of strains that you should stay away from, but don't limit yourself as much...ona gel works so good...table spoon here and there with a small fan blowing on it helps tame my hottest and stinkiest days. Hell I guess I live in Cali and enjoy sticking a little bud of Chernobyl in my pocket like it was potpourri or cologne...

Why would you want a strain with no aroma? High, taste and aroma are needed for good weed, plus when you grow from seed there is no guarantee the plants won't smell anyways. I would either get a cut of something you know is low odor or buy a small carbon filter. Either way all the best in finding what your looking for. PP

This really is not true at all.

Federation Hawaiian sativa had many low odor and some no odor phenos, that were quite good. Even the stinkiest weren't that stinky. Early Sativa from Great White North Seed Co has about no odor at all, even if you rub the plants, but it's not super potent. The cool part about Early Sativa is that it's a short plant, a super fast bloomer, and a pure sativa high, with no paranoia, and no grow odor.
Many pure sativas, that are long season plants grow from start to finish with almost no need to use odor control.
I'm not so familiar with the Indica side, but have read that Serious Seeds Chronic is potent and low odor. There are others, and it always depends on the individual plant grown. I've had good low odor plants like Northern Lights #5 from BCSeedCo and Kish from CCK. Neither put out an odor unless they were disturbed. Then they smell skunky for a few seconds. This is an interesting middle ground. Technically these plants all smelled skunky, but only if you forced them to. :)

All this being said, a carbon scrubber is highly recommended. I'd prefer a carbon scrubber and low odor plants.

Gotta second the C-99 recommendation. Just grew out 3 of them and they were so low odour that the only benefit of the carbon filters was to the power company. 54 days and excellent quality.

150W hps isnt that tiny, i would say get a filter. you need air exchange anyway.

soil seems to help bring out the smells too. some smell less than others, but it all smells at some point from my experience. if you dont want your house to smell then carbon filter is your answer.

(sorry for not answering the question :D )

You can also DIY a carbon scrubber if you're in any way handy. I've had good anecdotal experience with them myself, but I like to tinker and make stuff.

As to your question, I like c99 but I've had some great looking c99 that didn't impress me at all when smoked. Maybe it was just that I suck at gardening.

Grow what you enjoy smoking and do whatever it takes to eliminate odor effectively! Do you really like the lowest odor weed or are you opposed to filtration?

Peace

That's a great question to ask oneself.

I got lucky finding Hawaiian Sativa, and some others that I really enjoyed smoking.

For the small apartment dwellers, like myself, it's a real plus to know that even if there's an odor control failure, the plants won't give out a rich deep giveaway aroma. I think that the thought of smelly plants, even if they're being filtered sets off major alarms in many of our protectionist minds, depending on exactly what kind of grow environment we have.

When it comes down to it, I'd rather have no smell, no taste, and a great high, if it means no worries all the way through. Aroma and taste are wonderful bonuses though. The sneak a smoke way that I end up smoking doesn't have time for fully appreciating all of the taste and aroma. Smooth smoke is good enough for my purposes. I get the smoking done quick and dirty, blowing through fabric softener, and then turning on an ozone generator in the bathroom. Smoke smell must be gone... :) I'm like that now, but not when I was younger.

I used to be a super beer snob, but then realized that I really just want the nice buzz, so I stopped getting overly involved in the picky taster game. Good money saver too.

The DIY carbon filter I built didn't do squat so I bought a can filter. Much better. I wouldn't grow indoors without it unless maybe I lived out in the country somewhere, away from all other noses.

Turdcat-Have you ever tried water curing? Very smooth and removes all odor and taste IME. Try a couple buds to see if it works for you. It's not my favorite but it definitely has it's place for stealth smoking.
