Anyone else got royal blood?

Being American is basically saying all this is bullshit.

Yeah I love how in America, all the poor and rich people live together in communes, vs other shit countries where there's big gated communities and home-owners agreements to keep the riff-raff out. No class barriers here, no sir. I mean, I get famous actresses and rich people dropping in on my single wide trailer all the time whenever I throw a party.....what, you don't?

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would brag about oppressive, inbred, genetics. To come from "royal" genetics seems to me to be something to be ashamed of, not proud.

Well if it's that difficult for you to understand, then I guess we know who your ancestors were...

come one people, gingi here is just a fictional character desgined to troll the living heck out of you.

it's pretty obvious.

who the hell would start a thread like this?

besides, if anyone had royal blood for real, they'd be the last to mention it, out of all places, in a cannabis growing forum.

anyway, I'm the king of cooking anything on the grill. the King of starting coals to cook. no one tops me. end of discussion :joint: bow down now or never get to taste my delicious perfectly done steaks. :D

Wow, gingerale, you've got a real problem interacting with others, so that MUST make you autistic.

See? How the fuck else was I supposed to convince you, since logic clearly doesn't work?

Pretty much the only person who hasn't ragged on you in this thread and you just can't resist getting pissy.

Well if you'd quit arguing and acting like you know me and who I am, and quit trying to tell me I'm wrong and don't know what I'm talking about, then maybe I wouldn't be getting pissy with you. How difficult is that? I try to tell people shit that I know, to hopefully share knowledge and help people understand things that I understand, and half the time they want to argue and fight every goddamn step on the way. It's just ridiculous.

You may be very intelligent, but that doesn't make you smart. At least your posts are readable!

Yeah, they're "readable" because by 6th grade I had a higher reading level than you do now. I don't know what makes one "smart" (you're the expert I suppose?) but I suppose that probably is one qualification.

Ending on a good note, and goodbye to the thread.... C'YA!

:thank you:

Not trolling bro...lol. Look at my post history. I really should have been one though, cause I have a knack for stirring the pot...

I accept that challenge....haha. Nah you're probably better than me....I can't afford to eat too many steaks, and need more practice I think. I make one hell of a mean burger tho.

I was reading at a college level before the third grade. Do I get to be autistic, too?

Fuck it, just make me king.

Wow I couldn't agree more with this one lol.. Royal Blood wow they were the worst of the worst. It's bad enough when you look at how all the rich old money assholes in the world have kept the money in this world and the Royals are as bad as it gets. I have never met a Royal I would say has helped his/her ppl in one thing that I can think of. I have met plenty that fly here and there and know how to spend their subjects cash. Now those are the "royals" I know.. I would not want to be apart of what these guys have been apart of . If I was I would surely try to change this bullshit they have set up for everyone to see. What a joke.. headband 707:)

gingerale- sorry to break it you, but ive been reading your posts, and if your autistic, then you are very high functioning.

I spent a few years working with autistic children between the ages of 7-19, never once did any of them reply so quickly, or so precisely.

calling yourself autistic, without being properly diagnosed is very disrespectful to those whom are really suffering from autism.

youre right, there is no answer for autism, much like allergies, but they are beginning to link the disease to your dna, which will give a better understanding to whether it is genetic.

pshychologists will only jerk your brain off- go see a psychiatrist, they can do a quick test to check you out, if thats not what you want...then please DO NOT disrespect those whom are truly suffering.

people whom really do suffer often seek help.

back on topic- my cousins heir to a throne in the middle east..not naming country :) his dad was overthrown though..hint hint.

praise, why do you say psychologists will only jerk your brain off ? are you refering this only to autism diagnosis ?

^^ i say that cause pshycologists will really only stimulate your brain to think differently, by simply talking to you. I would jerk the thread creators brain off because he's obviously not open to talking. So someone whom could diagnose and treat him with medicine would be better suited imo.

and you make a good point about a possible personality disorder..

Yep, coulda told you that.

I spent a few years working with autistic children between the ages of 7-19, never once did any of them reply so quickly, or so precisely.

Cool. I spent a few years actually being autistic... around 30 actually. Maybe I know a few things too. I guess you never stopped to think for just a second that the children you work with are labelled as autistic, precisely because they are not as high functioning as I am.

In other words.....have you ever considered that the world is full of people who are autistic to one degree or another, yet haven't been diagnosed because a) doctors barely have a clue what autism even is and b) people are just now starting to notice and be aware that that their "eccentric" uncle or cousin actually has a specific disorder shared by others?

I mean did you even take one millisecond to consider that maybe I don't reply quite so quickly and precisely when I'm actually speaking face to face with people? Did you do even the most basic of research on Central Auditory Processing Disorder before opening your mouth to judge me? Do you not understand that there are separate pathways in the brain for processing the spoken and written word, and a flaw in the other one may not affect the other at all?

In fact, the deficit in one area might even result in a big gain in another. Why do you think there are people like the Rain Man who can't even wipe their own asses, but can factor 37 digit primes in their head? It's because they have tons of mental circuitry devoted to symbolic and mathematical manipulation....at the expense of other things.

I was always shy and not very well spoken, and I'm used to saying things to people and having them look at me with complete bafflement, or confusion. My poor verbal communication skills result in apparent non sequiturs and jumbled up and broken speech. (Even my writing is kinda the same way, which causes me to go back and edit many many times until my thoughts are understandable and conherent.) To the extent that I am decently well spoken today it is only due to years and years of practice, including pacing around in my house alone talking to myself for hours on end. So don't fucking sit there and act like you know a thing about me or who I am or what it's taken to get where I am today. You don't have the first clue. If you want to read and learn, all the info is right here in this thread for you to digest, if you'll just open your mind for one goddamn second and listen.

Here, I'll even copy and paste and highlight so you can read and decide for yourself if I'm a quack:

The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders[57] state that children with Auditory Processing Disorder often:

have trouble paying attention to and remembering information presented orally, and may cope better with visually acquired information
have problems carrying out multi-step directions given orally; need to hear only one direction at a time
have poor listening skills
need more time to process information
have low academic performance
have behavior problems
have language difficulties (e.g., they confuse syllable sequences and have problems developing vocabulary and understanding language)
have difficulty with reading, comprehension, spelling, and vocabulary
APD can manifest as problems determining the direction of sounds, difficulty perceiving differences between speech sounds and the sequencing of these sounds into meaningful words, confusing similar sounds such as "hat" with "bat", "there" with "where", etc. Fewer words may be perceived than were actually said, as there can be problems detecting the gaps between words, creating the sense that someone is speaking unfamiliar or nonsense words. Those suffering from APD may have problems relating what has been said with its meaning, despite obvious recognition that a word has been said, as well as repetition of the word. Background noise, such as the sound of a radio, television or a noisy bar can make it difficult to impossible to understand speech, since spoken words may sound distorted either into irrelevant words or words that don't exist, depending on the severity of the auditory processing disorder. Using a telephone can be problematic for someone with auditory processing disorder, in comparison with someone with normal auditory processing, due to low quality audio, poor signal, intermittent sounds and the chopping of words.[8] Many who have auditory processing disorder subconsciously develop visual coping strategies, such as lip reading, reading body language, and eye contact, to compensate for their auditory deficit, and these coping strategies are not available when using a telephone.

....nor completely useful. One guy in my Guard unit put it succinctly: I'm the type of guy that is slow about understanding what's going on at first, but when I "get it" I'm right there with them. I was always the last person to know things, growing up, if no other reason than the meaning of statements made right in front of me would go right in one ear and out the other, as my dad put it. He used to always get so pissed when he'd tell me to do some things, and I would forget or misinterpret. But just write it down and post it somewhere I'd see, and it'd get done every time.

One of the first weird things I remember as a little kid was not being able to hear the lyrics to songs! I could only pick up a few words here and there and they were often comically wrong, or I'd completely misinterpret the meaning. Also, I could not talk on a walkie talkie, period, because all I heard was noise. As I got into my mid-late 20s things have improved considerably, but if we ever get drafted into World War III.....don't put me as the radio man, because I'd be the shittiest one ever.

Why are you mentioning this? Are you thinking I wouldn't already know this? I already looked at Asperger's syndrome pretty hard early on in my search for an understanding, but it just wasn't a close enough fit. I read about many different disorders, but nothing really jumped out at me as being ME until I read about CAPD. It was mindblowing when I read that article and was like, "whoa....holy shit! that's ME!" A professional would say the same goddamn thing, because he'd ask me the same questions I already asked myself, and I'd tell him about the experiences I've had which I already know about, and the answers would lead him to the same conclusion I'd already reached.

Why would I pay someone not as smart as me to tell me the same thing I already know? Just to please a bunch of random strangers on a bulletin board whose panties are bunched up tightly in a wad cause they don't like me using the word "autism"? (Is it copyrighted?) That doesn't make any sense.

I feel we are all royalty, there are those who know they are, and those who don't

Precisely. Thank you for getting it. We are all descended from winners. The losers did not survive.

LOL I'm sure you would, Mr. or Mrs Big Shot. You're such a bad ass with your psychiatric voodoo that within minutes I'd be opening up, telling you things I've never told anyone. Modern psychiatry is sooooo advanced!

So someone whom could diagnose and treat him with medicine would be better suited imo.

Right, because medicine and drugs are the answer! Always, every time! Soon as you get past all the hand waving and bullshit, this is what modern medical "science" boils down to for the most part. Why think logically about what this guy is saying and maybe even listen to and believe him? Just dope him up on some drugs and make him shut up, that's the cure.

I wish I had a vocabulary expressive enough to describe to you the level of disgust and contempt I feel for you and everyone like you.

and you make a good point about a possible personality disorder..

Let me just stop you right there in your tracks before you embarass yourself.

You are dangerously close to simultaneously asserting that

a) I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, and can't possibly self diagnose autism, especially not with a 150+ IQ and years of research to learn why I'm so weird in certain specific ways,

yet

b) you on the other hand, the average psychiatrist (or more likely, armchair psychiatrist) and this thread full of random people can somehow affect an accurate diagnosis over the net.

willy_doctor.jpg

P.S. in 30 years, "personality disorder" will be laughed at as a "diagnosis".....much as "lunacy" would be today.

Now stop dragging this thread off track with this dumb bullshit, please. Some of us are actually interested in reading the interesting stories people want to post, not arguing with assholes from the peanut gallery who always have to throw in their goddamn 1 or 2 cents opinion, whether its worth that or not.

But keep in mind though that you might have gained something from it....there are tradeoffs in everything. I think that's what autism pretty much is, at least the genetic version: a tradeoff that went too far.
