The Lemon Skunk in putting weight on by the day, Unknown not so much. I got a good supply of herb so these two will go all the way untouched.

Do you think topping the Lemon Skunk will pay off? Never really done much topping myself....

Plants looking good. Hot hot hot....86 in the flower cab at the moment.

Greetings Blimey...I reckon all four branches will be ready at the same time due to the topping. It could be the reason i didn't get much stretch, although I now think I've had me feed in veg a bit too strong in N. I like the two pronged style of the unknown BS, very easy to harvest & dry.

I think I will be upgrading to 250W HPS for flower when the money is there. I need to maximise me setup. Don't get me wrong....I'm impressed with these CFL. I reckon I can cool me cab in this heat with an HPS. Got perfect temps in there with extraction turned to low as we stand.

With your neat reflector/extractor/scrubber setup, and all that height (44"), you'd be wise to upgrade to a 250HPS.

I'm thinking of going that route myself. I need to be pulling an ounce a week, damnit! One day....

Topped a Sensi Star I have in veg....we shall see what happens....

I got a topped Northern Light in me greenhouse.....I only topped because she is out growing her cover. I usually just leave them until they show sex then give them a good pruning.

1g per W would be great...I ain't getting that with CFL....Although some nice looking buds.

Pulling up a chair and taking alot of notes as i am also starting an organic grow
in about 2 weeks time with Cheesewreck clones.
It will be my 1st organic grow , i am converting from flood and drain.
Im not useing Cfl's though i will be useing a 300w quad band Led.
Bit undecided whether to top like you are doing and do 4 colas per plant or build a scrog like Verdantgreen does in his thread and attach to the pots as i will be doing 9 plants in 11ltr pots in a DR100.

Good luck with your grow unjust. I'm just experimenting with the topping thing. I'll be trying a scrog some time.

I've neglected this thread for a while so time for an update and some pictures.

First few pics taken a week ago before I went HPS.

Bagseed from the herb that is tied with red string that goes around the UK, 12/12 from seed. She's approximately 50 days in.

I have three other plants in me cab, I don't know what they are so I'll post them in this thread. These are cuts from plants I grew in me greenhouse this year. The original plants were from gifted seed.
These pics are from 2 days ago just before the chop. These plants had 61 days of 12/12 under 300Wdual CFL then 3 days under me new 250W HPS.

Now I got me HPS it's time to get a decent camera.

Damn fine flush on those leaves.

I'm already sold on the virtues of coco...just using it in the soil mix.

Last feed was on day 45 then water and molasses.

Temps are a touch high at time under the HPS, 28 celcius at the tops of the buds. I'm going to install a fan on top of the reflector to suck some heat out from around the bulb.

Been thinking of trying some coco with soil...Might try and scrounge some off me mate to try.

I got some bud fast drying in top of me light, going to sample a bit now.

Hi RudeDog,

Are you still turning off the extractor on lights off? I'm having cold issues and am thinking of doing the same thing. Did you notice any negative effects?

Long time no bagseed.
I put eighteen seeds into germ a while back, three sprouted. The seeds were over five years old and had just been lying in me stash box.
Anyway...They are in me greenhouse at the moment.
I might flower this one indoors...It's got a deep purple stem.

Lord knows mate....It might not even be from herb I smoked. I got a little tin of seeds which I have collected up, people have give me. Some of the seeds could be more than five years old and they are all mixed up.

I was just going to leave them in me greenhouse but the purple stem is asking to be flowered inside. We shall see if I have the room, got a few things going on indoors at the moment.

OK....I decided to flower the plant with the purple stem.

Here she is..

Took this photo last night, she's been in 12/12 for a week now.

The stems still purple and I'm hoping there will be some stretch. She'll have to stretch at some rate to keep up with the Maroc in the cab...
