WEEK 9:

Nearing the end of my first time ever!

It was definitely a fulfilling first time

I've learned a helluva lot and had a great time doing so. Thanks to all of my new and old friends for all of the awesome advice and feedback - and thank you for watching my show.

This time next week I'll be chopping.

Awesome you did good! Bet it feels great being the first time. I had a lot of people tell me, "You'll get used to it". Never! I am having a blast and feel as great as I did my first grow 4 years on now. Wish you the best and the same happy and excited feeling every grow

first off: good job for your first time.... better than my first grow!


secondly i would recommend watering by hand when you are a beginner if you have the time.... you will get a better feel for the plants and their needs if you pay each of them some close attention once or twice a week when watering.... keep it simple ForTheWin!

Ya FW, Looks really nice, good lookin' buds. Congrats on the first harvest!

A simple remedy for mites that late in flower is Mighty Wash. It's 99% water.

Just take the time to clean it all up REALLY good before the next round.

hot shot no pest strips. use em before you start your next round. not organic treatment but it works. staying out of your house for a few days while you use em might be a good idea. my friend had mites like nothing ive ever seen. he has used these and never seen em since. Good Luck. remember the borg can be defeated!

My girls are coming down tonight!

I'm having a hard time containing my excitement throughout this long ass work day.

I've come a long way since day 1 and my 10 million watt light, hehe.

A lot of prep work has also started for my round 2. Like I said, a much smarter grow. I hope you guys follow along! I'll be scouring my room, eradicating any chance of mites/eggs, and vegging my plants for 2-3 weeks. I am also buying and mixing my own soil. I KNOW I can do much better. Get more from less. We shall see.

My biggest lesson learned is - if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself!

And they're down! They look and smell pretty darn good too. I only did a very minor trim as of now. Once they dry I will finish trimming - and keep the clippings to make some butter.

I'm looking forward to trimming and then learning how to cure properly. Thanks again everyone for all of the helpful input and advice!

Just wanted to show you guys my end result:

My plants are vegging for my Round 2. Should have them ready to flower in about 2 weeks. I'm going to put to use everything I've learned and hopefully have another successful run. Thanks again to everyone who watched and gave input. I really do appreciate it.
