So we've got a bit of a scorcher here in new england today.....Anyone else having heat issues?

Today's temperatures caught me by surprise, woke up and it was damn near 87 in my room, house temperature had to be close to that also. Started by opening everything up and trying to get the heat out of there, didnt work like i wanted it to. So I ended up hooking the A/C up, and will keep watching the temps until they settle to something comfortable.

Been running for about an hour now and temps are slowing creeping back down to the lower 80s but im still not satisfied.

Anyone else have similar issues today? how are you dealing with it, without an extra inline i should say. Almost making me thing im going to have to take a break from inside during the summer. Good thing its still early and the outdoor season is just getting started.

When you say move more air, are you talking about adjusting the speed controller on the inline? I had the tent open and fan running, fan blowing into the room from another, and a/c running for a while today...and im just getting down to the temps i wanted (76ish).

I only use a 300cfm fan in there. i really need to upgrade to a bigger inline, but im not positive i have enough room on the breaker.... Need to figure something out, i hate being without smoke.

first ill turn my fans up to medium or high. if that doesnt work ill turn up the speed controller on my out-take. this in a 11x11x8 room(2k in lights). i hit 80.8 today.

The new crop is happily vegging out, shouldn't be too much longer before I flip them. Running 7x Chem D, 2x Tahoe OG, 1x Apollo 11, and 1x Tresdog. I'd post more pictures but I've run out of file space in my user album. Anyone know would I go about raising that limit?

Skunkburner, I have a Kessil 350 magenta. It's mostly used for isolated breeding projects in a 2' x 2' area, which is too big an area for it's footprint, but it serves the purpose. Used on one plant, it'll work.
I bought a ProGrow 260 and I'm higher in praise of it, a lot more wattage/ bigger footprint for just a little more $.
Check out the LED Retailer thread in the 'Growlights' forum for good info. ;)

Where's the glitter, Melty? :D
