Seeking Critique on Vert Colosseum SOG concept.

i thought the plan was for budsicles from the get go?
That is the plan. Ten days ago I removed all foliage except for two large fans on all 65 plants. I also removed all branches. Now I have tons of fans on each plant and secondary branches as long as 7".
I will probably start lopping off some branches today, just a few at a time.
So your plants are growing too well? Ain't it a bitch when that happens! 
I almost don't want to say anything becuase there can be too many hands in a cookie a jar. I just would expect removing 7'' branches is going to stunt a plant in flowering, not to mention removing what could be some good bud. Let em finish their vegging phase through flowering them and see what you got then. The light flowers get during the stretch ultimately determines their potential so when your hacking early and trying to be conservative; maybe your hacking off the good ones and leavin the bad ones. I just really, really think through this phase of a growth ya need to keep your hands off of em if you aren't moving flowers into better positions to get light. Use the plants to train themselves by bending branches and leaf. After the stretch I'd definitely trim the hell out of your bottom plants.
It don't look overgrown or anything yet man. Don't do anything to slow em down. And yeah you got the point about forming a '/ \' shaped canopy if need or desire be. Let them bulbs hang low bro. Let them bottom ones rise up while your upper side branches are getting raped with light and staging for some good buds. Maybe even now ya can try each light a different height so you can see the differences in how the plants react. All in all everything looks pretty darn great to me. I'd be happy with myself if I was ya Anti =]

It's nice to have so many people constantly chiming in with opinions and ideas. It really helps me to see things from new perspectives and it clearly is having an impact on the success of the grow.

if i remember correctly my cut of AK 47 (serious seeds, early 2000 stock) was receptive to defoliation during stretch. my plants never seemed to slow down when i hacked em.
those plants are going to get huge, thats for sure. if i was using this system, i would be going for 2 lbs, or 64(65) 14 gram colas. its not hard to grow a 1/2oz cola. i really feel that everything besides what is going to be part of the budsicle should be hacked away. the strain should be able to take it.

Duckfoot= webbed indica great for outdoor, most stealth plant ive come across.

As said earlier by IF.....It would be to one`s advantage to at least try a couple plants this run and hack/shape/prune em during stretch to see how they respond A.....and....
If RBDF`s in the know , then rapin and pillagin the bitches won`t slow em down and all the unnecessary foliage can be removed AS they form calyx`s and start spittin pistils.....but.....Caveat Emptor...Proceed at your own risk during stretch....
As TTC said earlier , he hacks on his plants till he finds that "sweet spot" and then it`s off to the races ftw cuz the sideways canopy is EVERYTHING and even though it`s budsicles .....
They needta be dialed where every 1 all but touches each other side by side and the tops of the bottom tier don`t grow too tall/get in the way of the plants above , and any excess light that gets through the canopy is reflected back on the plants like we all know you`re doin....so.....
Onward and upward....As the medium and the feed setup gets dialed , the only thing left is environment and knowin what your strain`s gonna do when yas pull the trigger....then....
It`s set it and ferget it....simple.....babyshit....

Doing it right then... Steady, slow and careful. Keep everyone out of their neighbor's personal space. Their personal space only extends to the edge of the personal space of the lady beside them.
Any (invisible) stunting is not going to harm you on this run (I don't think).
