I like to stick the entire solo cup in the pot. The pot is NOT packed with dirt. I just fill it to the rim with loose dirt.

I then pack the edges of the pot in making a "mound" around the clone. I then top it off with more soil. This keeps water from travelling down the side of the pot.

I really like your version of Super Soil seems to have all the ingredients but fewer items than Subcools. I've been wondering about reuseing soil/soiless medium and if you need to give it a super flush or an enzyme treatment with the leftover bio remains from previous grow? And how many times can you do it in your oppinion?

Excellent question and here's my take. Keep in mind this is only my opinion that I can only prove in results that I get.

I do not flush per se. I use only water on maybe the last two weeks primarily out of laziness. I do not cook my soil, as I like to think it's in a constannt state of cooking. Would I throw a seedling in it? Absolutely not. The clones have to be well a established plant in the solo cups. Meaning the roots should be fully developed and visually apparent.

Over time my soil volume grows through ammendments, and adjusting the porosity. The base is 2 years old. As the runs go by I notice the peat breaks down. This is where I decant (remove) some soil and replace the volume loss with coco coir/EWC/and Lime. typically I decant 25 gallons worth every 2 or 3 runs.

I use the spent soil for my vegetable garden. Needless to say I grow some hellacious tomatoes, beans, and bell peppers.

The soil I use for my clones come from my "spent" soil bin. I use an aero cloner. Havent looked back to root cubes or chem base nutes, may never again.

Sorry JJay, but I have one more question and it's more like a few about SSSDH. First I just love it I have been a stout diesel fan since NYCD and Sour D rolled out and haven't had such an over whelming kraving for a strain since. I have 2 reg SSSDH from CSG and been waiting for another 10 pac but in the mean time my first Q. How many diffrent pheno's have you come acrost? Was it a rare find for your short flowering cut? Is their any indepth knolege and/or secrets that aren't on the message boards you can share about the strain?
Sorry to seem extreem but it's kind of like a fish that your sneeking up to on the flats and before you commit entirely too, you need all the advantage you can get on my first run to make it as smooth as possable with no mistakes or surprizes..

All questions are welcomed here. I came a cross 2 pheno's in my pack. One looks like more of what you'll typically see in these forums. The other is the one with the super fat calyx structure. This is the one I run. Out of the 2 similiar pheno's (fat calyx structure) One had a skinny main stem. It was destined for the bin. Ended being up being my keeper. I keep retain clones from all seed plants and discard after a final determination. I'll dig up some hard data and pics of the Original mother and post it for you soon.

I've got a project in mind for a SSSDH super scrog. Long thread for sure.

I've started a new thread over at Serious with a AK pheno I found. My clones are in bad shape lol. Could be a short one.

I've been looking at some more CSG gear lately. The Boutique CC issue kind of hurts.

Super ScrOG and SSSDH hells ya!! I had a dream that started out that way..HAHA

I know what you mean bout CSG gear. Seems OJD and Cannabliss know what the masses want... With out trying to sound like a tratior to the site if I'm in a rush Attitude hooks up the CC's with most of CSG's gear.
