i am also just about to move my setup into my 4' length 4' high 2' wide cabinet i built. ( excited to see how it works out) and i have 3 ladies that have been vegging under 50 w cfls for about a month now. Excited how they will react to the 150 and flip.

that plants look super healthy im afraid i cut to much off from my next crop i went commando with the lolipopin i hope that i didnt cause a stunt in the bud production.im pretty sure im not going to cut my plants anymore im pretty sure thats not for me lol.

1st One

my first attempt at growing weed was about 10 years ago and i used one of the 4 foot flourescent tubes with the double bulbs and no nutrients besides the dirt and did a 4 foot plant and it wasnt all that bad.

My first attempt at growing was 26 years ago I had one of those grow lights from HomeDepot the incadescent screw in. 1 plant in a cardboard box beaming it with what was essentially a floodlight, temps at least 100+! Planted in dirt from outside wondering why my plants wouldn't make it. I grew for 3 years before I saw a single flower!

In the early 80s, I knew of a single indoor grower. His setup was two T-12 shop lights, four 5-gallon buckets and white poster board hanging around the grow. I don't know if the guy knew about 12/12. His house was pretty dilapidated and the derelict "grow room" had a giant hole in the roof. If he ever got anything that even resembled buds, they were probably moldy or rife with PM.

This same guy's buddy decided to take it to the next level and dug a trench under his house. This was still the 80s so if the guy had HID it was MH. The guy bought "Thia" seeds from High Times and a hydro setup for the plants.

Turns out the dude got into it with his girl. The bitch ratted him out for one rag plant (in the living room.) When the cops came they weren't convinced that the heavy smell at the front porch was coming from one Charlie Brown weed plant. They searched the home, found the trap door and ultimately charged the guy with 30 felony counts. Never heard anything after that but the guy didn't do any time.

It was the first indoor grow bust I'd read of in the papers. I can remember they didn't know the word "hydroponics" and instead described "liquid" in "charcoal trays" (probably hydroton). IMO, this guy didn't know what he was doing any more than the first guy. When asked how good his weed would would have turned out, the guy could only describe how wide the fan leaves were, lol. He may not have even known about force flowering.

I have finally finished my new growing cabinet and put the ladies in their brand new home
I really wanted to create a cabinet wehre i could veg and flower at the same time, have a perpetual grow going, so i always have available meds. anyways,in the flowering side, i have put the ladies ( not 100 % they are all ladies, yet) into new, bigger pots ( two back ones in 2.5 gal pots, front 1.5 gal) and i am trying coco with one of the ladies, the other two will be doing organic soil. currently in the veg part of the cabinet i have an SFV og in its 8 th week of flower finishing up its course. im hoping this round will be a great one!

I am thinking that the sunsystems bulb is multi spectrum which if that is the case i think i want a new bulb anyone know the facts about the bulb that comes with the sunsystem?

Thanks DB! im thinking about doing a mod SCROG on the ladies in the back, i know pure kush and bubba kush like to stretch alot during the first 2 weeks of flower..you think this is a good idea? anyone have a link to a DIY mod scrog? thanks!!
i am also pretty excited about running the coco/perlite as this is my first time attempting it, and ive seen great results.

Wow now I feel like a dick for tryin to give advice in the presence of all these OG pros . Im 24, 3 years growin lol. My bad to the AN peeps, wasnt sayin that they dont work just that it can be done cheaper. Anyways...

Heres a shot of the very last bud from my last harvest. Not the biggest but the most pretty. 2 plants, 3 gal pots, JC nutes. Kinda cheated a lil tho cuz they were under a 250 the last few weeks of 12/12. Still 150 did most of the heavy liftin. 4.5+ oz dry by far my best yield so far.


And heres what the 150 cab is up to. In the corners are bagseed clones that Im veggin up a bit. Left side middle is a baby master kush, right of those are a WOS sugar mango ryder(lowryder 2?) in foreground and blue himalaya diesel auto background. The lil one on the right side is a aurora indica. Not sure if any of that makes sense Im way stoned lol.


And a quick shot of the 250 tent. Clones comin down soon.


Gonna use the 150 cab for moms/veg/autos from now on. I'll drop in with some auto pics from time to time but I'm always lurkin. Keep rockin 150 crew

This bush up front is my advanced nutrients bush at day 44 of 12 12 the buds never got humungeous but they sure do smell nice as hell and they are not to shab the calx starting to do tight foxtails over the 17 tops and have another 11 or so days i bought a jewlers loop today finaly found a place to buy them and they are only 2 bucks hehe.anyways the other ladies in ther are at 3-4 days 12 12 starting to strech i had to raise the lights.

The large nugg is a purple kush clone from a dispencery it was not toped or cut once untill week 8 of flower. the smaller bush was a regenerated clone and i kept taping it to the pot and let all the inner nodes grow i should have lolipoped every branch but it smells so sweet.


Thanks J.c them ladies in the back are thriving i think they are loving the new line up of nutes it will be my 3rd and last run with the xx kush im pretty sure ill get that sweet flavor and loads of hairs and crystals but in a larger and more fluffed out style top nug like i like.


Im thinking about running both 150w lights in my closet side by side for these 3 plants one time but still havent done it.But if i do ill be moving up to the 300 w club.lol i realy don't think they even have a 300 w club?

Hey man you thought bout makin some fem seeds before you let the xx kush go? Like with stress hermin one or with chems to make fem beans. Really just thinkin out loud here...Ive let a few bagseed strains go(flowerin moms with no clones in veg) that Ive regreted. Just tryin to get a pro to give me a crash course on fem seeds here really. C'mon Pipedream,Disco,Acro,Bulenath,etc...pretty please, with a gram of bubblehash on top??

EDIT- Like specificly what chems, where to get em, and how much/how often to admin em to get a good amount of fem BEANS. Thanks as always

Ye id like to know that myself + i have no clue when to pollenate the plant and how long it takes to fully develop? im thinking id like to cross my puple kush with the xx and call it purple xx

Darkwade it takes 4-5 weeks for seeds to fully develop. I decided to keep those from my hermie and give them a try outdoor this year maybe.
