We have a propane burning heater in our garage and with the temps getting under 30 at night... that big bitch burns up inside our garage and hopefully is giving our plants that will be flowering as of today some extra co2.

On the hunt for illegal narcotics being shipped via Express Mail, a Michigan man allegedly repeatedly entered a sorting facility, claimed to be a postal inspector, and walked out with dozens of parcels, many of which contained marijuana, investigators charge.

According to a criminal complaint filed yesterday in U.S. District Court in Detroit, Calvin Coolidge Wiggins, 31, said, “You got me” when questioned Saturday morning by federal agents who had arrested him outside the Priority Mail Center in Romulus.

Wiggins, an investigator reported, admitted that he “previously had been involved in mailing Marijuana via USPS Express Mail and was tired of having the parcels seized.”

So he allegedly sought to seize the parcels of other drug traffickers.

A surveillance team spotted Wiggins entering the facility on March 3 and walking “towards the area of the plant where the Express Mail was being processed.” There, Wiggins was seen taking two parcels and placing them into a wheeled hamper.

Wiggins told federal agents that on “numerous occasions” he had gone to the Romulus facility and “posed as a Postal Inspector in order to steal Express Mail parcels which he believed contained controlled substances,” according to an affidavit sworn by a postal inspector.

Many of the pinched parcels “did contain Marijuana,” revealed Wiggins, who estimated that he had swiped between 40 and 50 Express Mail packages.

The probe of the mail thefts began in January, when postal inspectors determined that multiple packages destined for the Detroit area went missing. Many of the parcels were characteristic of packages that, in the past, had been found to contain controlled substances.

The only problem with that theory is that plants absorb CO2 during lights on , and shit out what they don`t use during lights off........so...

Whatever your heater gives em during lights on will be a good thingy cuz they`ll shit out what they didn`t use during lights off , but the propane heater will be supplying even more CO2 trying to control lights off temps that`s detrimental if not vented and kept moving out of the room....

Peace...DHF...:ying:.....

SOB! That explains a lot... lol... And as for the american weed guys... I thought the brothers had a nice facility, and then they hopped in the back of a pickup truck with their plants and coated them in dust from the road. I don't think I would frequent their dispensary after watching the show. *sigh* I mean I make a lot of mistakes... I'm like the Hoffman crew from Gold Miners... Lol... Todd, jack, and dave all rolled into one... So I'm not perfect, but who are these clowns they're putting on tv trying to help the movement... Sheesh...

I've been DVRing it, but my stupid DVR didn't pick up episodes 1-4. So now I have 5 and 6 and I'm waiting for them to re-run the first four episodes before I watch the newer ones.

The people down state are crazy. We just had some guy get beat up because he didn't turn left fast enough for some guy from down state. I don't think it was Bobble though, maybe a cousin of Mega.

The people down state are crazy? and the people up north are perfectly normal? ha ha ha... B/c driving a truck on a frozen lake with a large body of freezing water directly below you is sane... lol...

It honestly doesn't surprise me. People from the city are rather ballsy... My doctor had a young man walk into the back of her office and she caught him going through her purse which is when she kicked him out. There's a total lack of respect for personal property in Detroit city. Obviously it's not everyone... but there's a reason Detroit is the way it is: the people. I'm not gonna get into it in details, but "they" are trying to restructure the composition of ethnicity in downtown Detroit.

My Straw DD harvest came to 1.75lbs, so as well as expected. The only reason I was disappointed was cause I got my hopes up when I saw those huge buds. Looks like the genny is gonna have to wait a minute after all... lol It's cool though, it's just something I'll be sure to get done over the summer. The cold northern temps are great for keeping the grow cool, but at the same time that environment presents a lot of other challenges... and I'm not gonna have another winter with frozen pipes. Runs under yer belt...

More plants going into a new room this week... and I should have a lot of Chem D cuts ready to take...

So we drive on the ice. Who wants to walk out to go fishing in the winter? You have all that beer to carry you know.

Being a southern boy for most of my life I couldn't help but laugh my ass off the first time I saw someone doing this. Laughed even harder watching someone else drive out on the ice to pull the orignal truck that had fallen through the ice out. Totally sane .

Bobble - Lovin the nerf footballs. Really interested to see how the blumats come together for you. I plan to use them in my version of pods also. Least amount of moving parts is my goal.

ok, I've been contacted by a few people asking if I'm still alive... I am. I just had to take care of some personal stuff... Not living where you grow has it's own set of challenges to overcome, but is also has it's advantages. I've been getting real comfortable not having plants on my mind 24/7. When the grow is 3hs away, you make the time you're there count.

It was 83F throughout MI today... and I don't have any sort of cooling. I planned on using heat exchangers this summer... but my well pump is dead. I got it running today, to have it die. I can't expand until I have water... and most of my plants are heat stressed now anyway... So w/e... I did my best to improve airflow... and I'm going to have to add more extraction as well as intake, but I need to pick up an 8" filter first. I'm gonna have someone come swap out my well pump so I don't have to waste my time with that anymore.

The blumats are great. The top of the pot stays dry, while the bottom is moist enough. Not really soaked. There's pretty much a constant drip on large plants in small bags. The plants on the right of my veg are the plants in 2gal pot getting fed by blumats. They're not stressed cause they weren't directly under the lights.

I added a T to suck the heat from the lamps right on out of the room...

and this is the 3x8x8 room I've been working on for a few weeks... It's been slow b/c of not being able to use one of my arms for much up until now. I have 8 Sour Amnesia in there in #5's... Blumats... A little heat stress, but I added another 435cfm fan and moved lights on to the night cycle... When I get temps under control I'll be able to run all 1290w... Right now it's just 860w. I'm using 430w lamps. No squeezing a 600w lamp in a 3' space here...

My USD crop is doing well now... 7 weeks in now I think?

This heat is killing me too. If it gets over 40 degrees outside my grow is 90 degrees plus if I don't open windows and vent outside. My upstairs get to 80-85 when that happens. Looks funny when you drive by and it is 40 outside and I have windows open. But I shovel snow in a tee shirt at 25 so maybe people just think I am strange.

My guess is your pump got frozen with your pipes and that caused it to go bad.

i would swap out the pump myself so i knew the process and have an extra sitting on the shelf from now on. mine was on a poly pipe, and took all of 30 minutes to do. the pump guy was gonna rape me on the mark up but only charge me $150 for the work ......... wonderful human being

I called the phone# on the pump, and it's no longer in service... so who knows how old the pump is. Not to mention the sediment destroying the pump from the inside and rust that looks like mold cause theirs so much of it... Yes, it was probably getting froze on 3 separate occasions pushing the seals further apart making the pump work harder to achieve pressure...

Mine is going to take all of 30 mins and then some... I have a 2-3" metal pipe feeding my metal pump... and idk about all the fittings needed to make a conversion to a newer pump... Not to mention the rust. I would much rather let someone experienced in old pumps handle it... and when you contract a professional to do something, their work is guaranteed. I NEED this pump to work right. I will pay the extra. It looks like I'll have a 5 year warranty.
