if i would have got the stretch i wanted this would have been a great grow these are now at 25" i got the 4-6 colas per plant i was after tho lol

Cheers for the KQ budshots mate, have been wondering how close my QoD#4 was to the KQ clone, seems mine has more NMK influence although the cure has bought out the grape in the taste chokin I meant smokin some now

If I didn't know better I'd say that the brown on the tip of leaves was a sign of over watering...I should know I've just done it to a couple clone xplanted from soil to coco... But as you say you were under watering them, and I'd expect them to have a good root structure by now from the pics you showed I'm not sure tbh mate, bet that helps loads

No expert here but it seems that your runoff should be lower E.C. than your feed. Maybe in need of a flush? When I water with 1.4 my runoff is like .75 thus I know my girls are eating.

lil update on how not to grow the schnapps lol

lesson learned not to jump from .7ltr to 15ltr pots it doesnt quite work without ample veg

you can see the heaths chiesel scrog in the background there on day 6 of 12/12 and ive pulled em back through the net twice allready lol

been looking at the last schnapps grow and buds should double in size in the next ten days,gunna try the bloom booster pro on them 0-50-30 at 200ppm

hi mate they really needed more veg time could have done with another foot of hieght there on day 40 i was using superior potash but im swapping that to a higher p ratio 50-30( AN bloom booster pro) for the next 7-10 days now instead of the 9-18 pk.then i will start the gh ripen

Oh well mate at least your looking on the positive side and know where it went wrong althought I'd still be very happy with them the way they are now. Keep us updated on the AN PK, sounds good, what is your nute line now mate?

the schnapps are on h&g cocos a/b and now as of tomorrow adding the an bloom booster pro @ 200ppm

thats all mate ive just basically swapped the headmasta and potash out for the bloom booster pro its got magnesium and vit b1 in it too 500g for 28 quid

the chiesel are on floranova grow and diamond nector no root stims either they seem to love it al switch to the bloom at day 14

btw the ph is more stable with the nova compared to canna and h&g base nutes

Yes the AN bloom booster pro is a powder mate and dissolves instantly with no residues the fox farm beastie bloomz would have been a better powder it contains micro nutrients humic and fulvic acids too but is 50 quid a little goes a long way so its not a bad thing really

The only prob with floranova is you got to really really shake it up

Hi mate just thought i would try something else and switch the ratios abit as im adding a higher k formula the base nutes have a high k and so does the potash and coco leeches k back too
I think its better to finish on a higher p rather than a k

Hopefully it should bulk up and ripen nicely towards the end

Dunno if 200 ppm is enough or too much

Any ideas?

experiment

experiment

tried a lil experiment after reading something on another thread

8 cuts in jiffy coco pellets
8 cuts in 5oz asda party cups filled with coco

both took around 14 days to root

the jiffy pics are the best and worst of the bunch
and the others speak for themselves

so the ones in the jiffys are gunna need potting up so time wasted there lil bit more stress for plant too another 6-7 days wasted there
the other cuts are allready miles infront

al veg the the ones in party cups until there allmost pot bound 4-5 days time then these will go straight into the 10ltr airpots

looks like al be doing the party cups from now on

another tip tilt bottom of cup slighly get a lighter out and light the corner gently in two places...two perfect drain holes

Love a good experiment mate and that's definitely my new way of cloning for coco the roots systems are far superior on the asda party cups. How much did you water them before putting in the clones and what was the prep before that- rooting gel, cut etc.

Nice one RIL, I'm finished with the aero cloner, I'm going back to rooting in root riots, that's what I've been doing for a lot of my stuff now and the results are just as good as the aero. How often do you water clones and at what strength? After I get roots I pop the clones into small pots of coco (about the same size as the party cups +/-), give them a water @ 1.0EC to I get a lil run off, I don't water again for 5-7 days or until the coco has dried a little then I water to run-off again and start to water them more often, it builds up the roots really well.
