I've been on this site for a few years now, but never had the opportunity to start my own grow until just recently. Growing my own girls is a long-time dream of mine, so now that it is finally happening, I find that I am being a big perfectionist with every little detail.

Luckily, I have a lot of experience being around other grows, so I have a slightly higher advantage than other people just starting out, I'd assume. I certainly don't know everything, so any constructive criticism is always welcomed!

The space is 4x8 feet with one light - 4000 Watt HPS.

I have 20 lovely Bubba ladies, one or two of which look like a different strain that I'm not sure of yet, but will find out (the girls were kindly donated to me).

I have a fan cooling the light, as well as one on top of the filter. I will soon be adding an oscillating fan, but for now the filter seems to generate enough wind.

I'm using 20 Tropf-Blumat drippers with a gravity fed reservoir.

The girls are each in a 3 gallon grow bag filled with organic soil consisting of: Promix, compost, perlite, bomemeal, bloodmeal, kelpmeal, greensand, lime & biotone.

I do have to say that none of this dream of mine would have been possible without my masterful teacher, Lapides. I will do everything in my power to follow in his exact footsteps until I can learn how to work his magic

Now that it is time to spread my wings, I sure as hell better make him proud!

WEEK 1:

This week I made sure to dial in all the drippers (I'm slowly learning the art) and make sure everything in general is working correctly.

I hope Lapides is doing well. Looks like you're off to a great start! That soil mix is a proven winner, tried and true. I went with another alternative once, and that was all it took for me to go back. Good luck, I'm sub'd and excited to see how things turn out for ya.

WEEK 2:

I've been spraying with Stylet Oil periodically to make sure no little buggers ruin my fun. And more of just making sure everything is on point.

WEEK 3:

Coming to an end of my Stylet Oil sprays. I have begun to bend the plants for a better yield. Still getting the hang of the drippers and what the bags should look like with adequate water. I'm very excited to see the first little buds starting to grow. In the next week or so I will begin to stake.

edit: wow i just logged on after a few weeks and realized just how much neg rep i got for the above comment. When i first saw the thread i only saw "Free woman" and next to it "first time". Dont even remember writing it but i geuss i was a lil out of line. My apologies to the op, sometimes my sense of humor isnt appropriate. you can clearly see the Lapidarian influence with the blumats and the pro-style hard wired intermatic.....

couple corrections for you from the perfectionist in me. I am pretty sure you are not running a 4000 watt light. and those containers look more like pots than bags. Sorry couldn't help my self.

everything looks great I am sure the end result will be more than satisfactory.

Ya... my 4x8 tent grow hasn't had this many responses and its stuffed with foot long colas. Lol
It looks like you have plenty of room there. I have two rows of six plants in three gallon pots, but there's no room left.
