Thanks for stoppin' by. I'm glad you enjoyed the images.

What do the original photo's look like?

Define originals & I'lll let you know.

I shoot RAW files that need to be processed on a computer just like film needs to be processed in a lab. It's simply not in a usable form when it comes out of the camera. I don't know anyone making a living with their camera right now that doesn't shoot RAW files. That having been said, if you want to learn about my photographic processes you can read the Photography 101 thread in my signature.

I spend very little time with my post-processing work because I do as much in-camera at the time of capture as I can. Perfect exposures, interesting subjects that don't need doctoring-up, a white seamless for a clean background. . . it's all part of the process.

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. Yeah, most folks who get their hands on a well-grown sample never forget her. Heavy, potent & stoney, but awake.

I grow in 100% coco coir. Late in flower I use a top dressing of hydroton to minimize evaporative water-loss from the medium. No run-off, they either get my 1000 ppm mix or straight water.

This is as close as it gets to the original. This is the original RAW file, shot on manual exposure with a custom WB, then exported uncropped with the default processing settings as a JPEG.

When you take a pic with your point & shoot camera, it instantly analyzes the contents of the frame and applies all kinds of settings to your image to make it look as good as possible. Saturation, black & white points, contrast, brightness. . . all applied via generic profiles based on what you shot, then a preview pops up on the back of your camera so you can view what "you" just shot. RAW files allow an educated person to have manual control over those post-processing settings just like a film shooter does when they choose Fuji Velvia for macros but use Kodachrome when shooting outdoor sports.

Knowledge.

Beautiful pictures, looks like an awesome plant. I'd love to try the LA conf but don't live in USA so it's a bit hard to get that kind of clones. Does it anymore exist in seed form somewhere ?

I hope you enjoy her. . . she's a very special girl.

The bright orange hairs and the lime green color are good friends at this point, but I've had this cut for about 6 years & until this harvest I had never personally seen her go deep purple. I also had 64 degree night-time temps this round! The stems are almost always that scarlet reddish color though. Nature is breathtaking!

Haha. . . RAW is amazing!

beautiful photos and nice lady you got! good job

pretty plant!
I was gifted this cut in the back of a computer lab in college. The Katsu Bubba Kush & the Grape Ape didn't stick around too long, but the LAC has been a prized possession ever since. I hope to keep her for a long time.
