anyone ran chem4 outside?

I ran 4SD (Sour D x Chem4) and I wouldnt do it again unless your in a dry climate or green house or have the ability to put hoops up during flower. I had to chop my CSD's and 4SD's 3-4wks early due to PM and mold setting in heavily .. My girls only hit 5oz each but if they went full term they would have been close to double that if I didnt lose bud and if they filled out more.

I grew out 4sd the last two years. It seemed mold resistant to me, I only lost 20% on a bad year. The final product always comes out nice also.

Well mine were guerrilla at 51*N so perhaps that had something to do with it (wet September/October too) .. .. There are many strains I would not run guerrilla but I would run in my backyard.

about 40*N here, so that has something to do with it for sure. Also a back yard grow.

I have grown her out several times outside. She's does'nt finish until the end of oct. If its left out longer then that she goes from a light golden green to brown and will get bud rot

This year I am going to grow some platinum kush, and some green crack. Hope the crack can take some cold nights.

Thaicat .. I'd ditch that chemdog from GHS cause your going to run into mold/mildew issues with it unless its in your backyard lol But Id replace it with GHS TW. A buddy grows it year after year and those things grow like GIANTS outdoors and quite hardy and yield is wicked fat!

Im not sure how the GHS Jack Herer is outdoors but I ran it from a different breeder and it finished 3rd week of September and zero mold .. Yielded 14oz of colas and 4oz of popcorn I screened for 45g of golden kief. If you want the breeders name just PM me cause it will get blocked on open boards.

Last year i acquired what i was told was a blue dream cut. Grew like a blue dream, looked like a blue dream but smelled fuely. Anyway it was harvested toward the end of October. It was exposed to rain, cold, and morning dew. When it was chopped maybe 5 grams of medicine was lost from each plant. Compare that to my 90 percent loss on my SFV OG. I was smart enough to take clones. Aside from being pretty resistant to mold, I didn't have to spray it with anything to keep bugs of it. It ate and ate, seemed to be hungry all the time. As to yields, they were put outside middle of June, the gave me 3 per lady. I was happy.

gonna be running all these guerilla style in 50 gallon pots...


for my 200s i just took a bunch of LVPK, LA con, Cookie, and Cherry Pie clones last week should be rooting up soon...

I haven't popped any beans this year, but seeds from last year are popping up in my back yard. That must mean it is time for the season to start right? I was thinking of letting one go just to see it is starts to flower or not. I am betting seeds are good to go outdoors right now, but I am going to experiment to see for sure.

I plan to pop half my beans this year on the next lunar cycle. The other half will wait for another month.

As far as clones, I got Cherry Pie, La con, Cookies. I am going out of town and the cookie cuts are not quite rooted yet. I hope I don't come home to dead clones......

Tactical Farmer, how does satori do outdoors?

Only did a few last year from some average cuts out of 1/2 pack of 10, so out of 5 beans & males etc.

So anyway, not much of a strain test but Satori did average. Got some mold but they all do around here with the terrible weather the last several years.

I have 5 more beans, might run 1-3 Satori beans again.

Trying something different this year working with more + smaller plants.

a few folks did but i never saw any finished product...and it looked more leafy than the indoor version from the pics i saw from their flickr...

but i am saving a few spots for cookies this season...gonna be running her in 200s in my full sun garden in mendo right next to her mama cherry pie...
