I know you all like to make fun of me. The funny Colombian trying to adjust to the USA after 17 years of living here. Here take another shot.
I value money, maybe that comes from living in a poor country, but I hate when people intentionally break stuff. Phones are expensive and it seems all the women I am close to break their phone. They throw their phones at walls, the floor or whatever. It drives me crazy. For some reason I am the one that always has to replace them.
I see my girl friends daughter break her phone just yesterday, she is 16. She was screeching about one thing or another and next you know the phone hits the wall. Not just the phone, we are in a hotel and she put a nice gouge in the wall where it hit. I don't know what is going to happen about that. But now she is demanding a new phone. Like I have to just jump out and spend serious money for a new smart phone. She seems to need a new one every two months.
My girl throws her phone too. She has hit me with it and it shattered on my scull. She has thrown my phone too.
Is it the women I know or do all these American women just act out like this?
Me, I get a new phone about once a year. I have to do that because someone else breaks it. I had a niece dip my blackberry in coffee. I try to take care of my stuff though.
