Hey everyone.......

remember Black Velvet???

My favorite thread of his:
'I gave my girlfriend a chicken leg & a Pepsi and dropped her at a homeless shelter.'

On my mother,I just thought of him last night...I made a late night run and stopped by an all night convenience store and was hawking the girl behind the counter.Thought to myself,"what would smooth do?"...so I'm going back with a McDonald's gift card later tonight when I go get my 12 pack of golden anniversary.

Valentines Day tomorrow what are you getting for your special person?

My wife and I don't celebrate valentines day.

We're actually disgusted that people settle for 'special' days each year.

We express our love for each other... every day. Why a 'special' day only once a year they call Valentines day?

Watching other couples makes us sad, usually. So much happiness that 'could' be there, so many ways they can be 'alive' if they stop paying attention to what 'society' teaches and do what's right.

I think we've only met one other couple... in 10 years, that's taken as much time building at building a relationship as we have. Soooo worth it. :D :jump:

Talk to each other.
Be honest with yourself, your mate and everyone around you.
Work to find ways to make life easier for each other.
Work together.
Spend time together.

Love together.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

My wife isn't fussy about things, holidays, an such. She does however like jewelry so I do go out of my way and give her several pearl necklaces during the course of the year. The expression on her face truly lets me know it's better to give than it is to receive. I'm a lucky man!!!

Some people do show their love every day. Some just make it extra special on this day.

I ordered roses to be delivered to the Mrs. at work. Put a nice card and some bonbons in there also. Women love it when their friends see them getting that sort of stuff.

They love it even more when you show up w/the goods yourself :rasta:

I gave my girl friend a card for Valentines day.

She gave me this little mini card thing clamped to two 20s and a 10 ($50 USD). I felt like I better go to the ATM for her present now.

girlfriends, wives and even mothers thrill @ getting flowers sent to their workplace. I wish I had someone special in my life right now.
