And i thought that it was only the UK that had judges that lived in fairyland . We see daft sentences like this all the time .
So possession of MJ is rated more of a henious crime than sexually abuseing a vunerable person . It really make you wonder how these judges actually have the power to imprison people when they sit in court with their heads up their arses . It`s frightening to know that your liberty is in the hands of someone without a lot of brain .
The list of guilty do not say how many different judges heard their cases but they all have the same theme . A heavy sentence for drugs . MADNESS

There really is a culture of pedophilia amongst older men of influence and power in this country.

Fucking old boys network runs so deep. The pervert likely had connections and or the judge is definitely a diddler at the least ranging to banged a child that morning.

With thy type o sentence you would be better off having a shootout and high speed chase to try and dodge the cops thn to just lay down for 15 years. That's basically a death sentence for some people.

Scary mentality, or lack of. Interesting to know which of the defendants were non-white, which were above or below the median poverty level, and which ones had public defenders vs paid, motivated lawyers. Some of these people may have been meth/crack/heroin related, bigger than just a user. But 15 yrs for possession of weed, and a pedo rapist gets 1 yr for 2nd offense? That is a complete miscarriage of real justice. Sad. With this scale, a bad cop planting evidence and perjuring himself would have gotten a raise and promotion.

Sickening! Every minor crime in that article was punished more severely than the rape. The south is still a bastion of ignorance and stupidity. You couldn't pay me to live there.

Same shit goes on in my state & I am not living in the south! Very much north..and I have seen molesters repeatedly get probation over & over again..for years..before they actually get a real sentence!! They are very old before they do time & then will be kept in Protective Custody..even then once they get a sentence! "Good Old Boy's Network" TRUE THAT!! Look at Penn State..that has the same "Good Old Boy's Network" written all over it! Sorry for that rant! I am discussted!!! monkey5

Exactly, I've lived down South, and up North, and I can tell you without a doubt that people are bat shit crazy everywhere.

I actually heard a conversation where people were discussing how unfair it was that Joe Paterno got fired as head coach, up North peoples heads are so far up their favorite sports team's ass they don't know what the fuck is going on around them.
