6k watt kush grow

Hey everybody, been here a while, but have failed to make much of a presence. I've been on my medical forum site for soo long, I forgot all about IC.

So this is a 6000 watt grow, air cooled, in a 12 x 13 space. I have 2 (3) light rows with (1) 8 in fan on each run. I Y'd it off at the end and have another 8 in. exhausting out the room.

I went with Black Gold pure coco coir and used BOTANICARE nutes this round for the 1st time and I loved it. I have never grown in coco before or used their nutes. I felt like it was pretty easy going the whole time. I hand watered with a pump and 20 gal. res.

NUTES:
-PBP soil VEG
-PBP soil bloom
-CA/MG plus
-Liquid Karma
-Silica Blast
-Hydroplex
-H&G drip clean
-H&G roots excelerator

STRAINS:
-Larry Og Kush
-Tahoe Og Kush
-Fire Og Kush
-Camelot Kush (dutchgrown seeds)
-Chemdawg #4

ALL these clones (except Camelot) were sourced from Harborside in Oakland. I've heard good and bad things about their vendor's, mislabeling strains, all that, but I am pretty stoked at this point and have no complaints. Here's some pic's, hope you enjoy!

Ya, i'm pretty much an OG head at this point in time. I have quite the variety going w/ more to come.

:dance013:Looks Great. I've had nothing but good luck at Harborside also.
Ya, you know how it is, people will hate and say whatever they want, proof is when you have your OWN experience. Anything particular that you tried from them that was stellar?

Fire OG, Ken's GDP, Blue Dream, And A Sweettooth #4 that was fantastic. All cuts seem to be the real deal representation. I guess we're lucky.

So we grew the same cut of fire then? Your's look like mine? The BT or clonetender, haha, told me that the fire og, was NOT Rascals, but was another guys' cut that Rascal called the fire as well... Ken's GDP huh? Haha, good to hear, I work with Ken, he's a really cool guy. I actually am a rep for his seeds

Happy healthy looking Kushes.Enjoy the harvest bro:smoke:

btw, which one(s) you liking most thus far?

Hmm, well my intention's of this grow was to try and hunt down an OG of my liking. One that grows good, looks like the dank, and has that "smell"... I put smell in quotes cause I'm looking for that stinky, lemon-pine, earthy funk that only the TRUE OG brings. That chemmy, diesely, og smell is what gets me going. So, to answer your question, the FIRE og is the winner in that regard. It has that original og smell that just can't be contained in a bag. I love it. Next would be the Tahoe cause it's straight funk!!! The smell is rotten, kerosine, stinky og goodness.

Actually the Fire is the only cut not grown to completion. I picked it up in Dec. and I am mothering it out. I've been comparing it to a friend of mines authentic Rascal cut and they are almost identical, but this is in veg. so only time will tell:dunno:. A great place to get authentic clones in Oakland is the Urban Farm Center. They're Louis XIII OG cut is the real deal.

We have that Louie XIII in a club up here. I was gonna get it at cloneville in LA... But urban farm? I'll check em out.

I'd say some, like the Larry and Chem 4 are gonna be pushing the 8oz. range. I'd say at least 6 oz. on most, then the rest are probably all 4oz'ers. And thanks, yes simplicity, a good thing. See anything I should add/delete?

your nutrient regimen is spot on... try to add Sweet Original Berry to the mix. it has cal/mg and sulfur which makes a big difference!

Ya, thanks for the input. I was using CA/MG @ a rate of 7 ml per gal. and felt like they might have needed more? And more N for sure. The kushs' really started to fade a lil earlier than I would have liked. In your experience, should I up the CA/MG and add the sweet berry, or do you do one or the other? When if you do use both do you drop the ca/mg before introducing the sweet? Thanks for your advice/input it's greatly appreciated. Never worked w/ Botani before, I just might stay a while though :)

Been running PBP with coir for years, best compromise of both worlds imo, here is my input...
If experiencing fading early on use the regular ProBloom2-3-5 formula with the extra percent of nitrogen(instead of Pro soil formula which is 1-4-5)

You should also be using a norwegian seaweed product(I use maxicrop)throughout flowering to keep them glowing lush green(without excess nitrogen)plus it has potassium which you need in flower anyway.

PBP has been consistently great to me for years.

calmag in the first 3 week of flower. sweet with every watering/feeding. we feed sweet from rooted clone until the day of harvest. it is really an under-estimated product imho.
