First time - Autoflowering lowrider

Hey all,

This is my first time growing and I have a couple of questions.

First I'll explain what I'm planning on doing then ask the questions.

I'm buying Short Rider feminized seeds from Nirvana shop. My grow place will be inside of an old PC case with aluminium foil on the walls with 2 fans for air circulation. That's all I know so far.

And the questions:
Can I use UV led diodes inside the case? For example 100 of them from every possible angle, or is that pointless and doesn't work? If so, what light do I need? Possibly something below 100W because the plant is quite tiny as far as I can see on the pictures.

What kind of nutrients do I need?

Because this is a autoflowering lowrider can I have lights on 24/7 for all 9 weeks?

Water pH must be above 7.0 correct?

That's all the questions I can remember at the moment. Thanks for your help and I'll post pictures once the grow starts.

I'm not sure about a lot of your questions, but get rid of the aluminum foil. Get mylar or get some flat white spray paint and paint the inside with that.
Nutrients really depends on what you want. There are a ton of them, and people get good results with most of them. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find what you need.

my experience with lowryder 2 was about 17 inches to 21 inches tall by 9wk. I used foxfarm nute grow big,big bloom,&tiger bloom along with foxfarm oceanforest with some added perlite mixed in.I say go with 3 gallon buckets and 24hrs of light . also foxfarm nutes with ro water = perfect ph!!!!! ph perfect foxfarm nutes mixed according to instructions with filtered water hits the sweet spot every time!!! keep it simple and remember overwatering is the number one cause of problems when growing in dirt containers.use less on small more on big you want more air to your roots to much water = less air .more air faster growth .damp moist is perfect.dont water everyday unless in very small amounts.

i guess im the guy your looking for on this one man note the name. I instantly fell in love with my short riders but beaware they are they longest autoflower out there i have a few of my ladies left no pics camera is busted but im up to 144days partially due to the fact i grew underground (basement) where the temps hardly hit 75 but im sure if you kept them in areas between 75-82 they would prolly knock 40 days off their lifetime but even still they are a heavy sativa dominant plant the lower chutes contrary to everyones beliefe can get bigger then the main stock do not trim what so ever i did and lost at least 3-5g`s of bud their yeilds if grown using long narrow tubes for the root structures is best i had mine in 8` but 2 1é2ft long plexiglass tubes and they got to be almost 4ft tall my best yeild was almost a half oz its all still up in the air in my opnion for this plant but there is still alot of unseen potential in this plant as far as the bud went layers upon layers of crystal but very stretchy bud smelt like a very nice mix between mango and lemon and has a very fruity taste all in all id give it a 3/5 just because of the stretch after flower shreds your yeild numbers in half

Oh and if your looking for a good subtitue to nutes for the autoflowers while they are in veg but your worried about stunting or fucking them up feed then about a mouthfull of a double double or a triple triple coffee it works wonders on the plant same effects but without the worry of nutelock or over ferting them you do on the other hand have to worry about them developing a caffiene addiction and crashing hard core when you stop feeding what i did was just gradually switch them over using sugar water with half nutes in it every other feeding untill you can stop applying coffee. its also a grey area as far as things go but i like to think of my self as a mad chemist from time to time i found anything more then a mouthfull will retard you plant but 1mouthfull being the maximum ammount should be like finding the perfect numbers for your ferts and nutes the plants go crazy, if you can get you hands on some little t5 tube lights they work awsome for the first 2-3 weeks after that i used a mix of 5 t5 tubes and a 400w hps never tried it under led lets hope they looked as beautiful as mine did!

well the seeds came in an evelope, the 10 I ordered, and the 20 extra.

Both sets seems to me to be very small seeds, the low I expected.
The others were to be what ever else they had laying around.
But all of those seeds are the same size shape and color.

Did I get all crap seeds?
Did I get 30 LR seeds, and they did not mark the 2nd bag?

I'm praying that these seeds are true.

Will be gearing up to plant them.

Coffee you say?
Would I get a more cultured plant if I served it tea?

yea man you wont know untill you pop em but with mine the seeds were average-large size but it's all dependant on the size of the seed pod and everything else hopefully you didnt get crap seeds i loved the shit outta the strain and i would feel really bad if you got bunk stuff lemme know how they turn out

dont use coffee as a fert whoever typed that is a moron.....id go with botanicare pure blend pro grow+bloom or maybe some fox farm grow big and big bloom both of those are fairly cheap dont go with miracle grow or some other brand as they taste horrible with herb......best to order some online or go to a grow shop....or you can use some general hydro products like maxi-bloom and grow or floranova series a ton of ways you can go but remember simple is better
