Burner phones

Walmart straight talk phones. No name needed at all and no id. $45 for unlimited everything. $35 for 1000 minutes and texts. Its great! My crew gets all new phones every month with new numbers. Impossible to track that way unless its a 30 day investigation. Meeting locations are all in codes and those change too.

U shouldnt be sayin anythin over phone period. Dont talk about money, obvioulsy dont talk about drugs.

Meet with your buddys of your concern, smoke some joints and write down a paper full of codes.

"what a beutiful day it is ey?" could mean "i want a pound"

Use phrases that are used all the time in daily conversations, and theres no way they can get warrents.

I don't dig straight talk cuz you can only get minutes at walmart or online with cc(which defeats the burner principle).

If your near a city go with boost, cheap decent phones, no questions no hassles

Oh yeah, they also have more freedom with online setup. can pick your own area code, but even if you get a real person for setup, they are.usually cool and don't care if you use spiderman for your account name.

Also , if you get a "smartphone" most have a screenlock option. (if you think you don't need this, see km420kali's thread on hows cops will go through your phone if you get pulled over)

I like to throw in the occasional phrase when I call friends such as "Nuclear Weapons", or "I joined Al Quida while in Afghanistan last year" or "Did you get that 200 pounds of pot I mailed you yet"?

Just in case Echalon is listening, hey those guys listening behind the tape recorders get bored too? (shrug)

Prepaids don't protect you. They can pull txt messages off towers. Subpoena records, etc. C'mon guys.
Burners to burners only and if no names, locations, etc. what does it matter what data they pull off? Once you've worked with someone awhile then you got a system worked out and little needs to be said really. If they get to the point where they're pulling records like that then they've already probably got enough on you from elsewhere. The system is so overwhelmed they're only going after cases they can make or stumble upon through someone's stupidity or bad luck.

Then you really don't need a burner. Next to in-person conversations a burner is the way to talk about things...that's one of the reasons you use them and replace regularly!

Isn't a prepaid good though because it can't be linked to you?

Am I wrong here?
No you're not wrong but it can be linked to you if they find it on you lol but if useless text messages or other burner numbers what does it matter? I never set up the voicemail. That's one of the reasons you don't call someone on their 'regular' line from a burner or vice versa. Mine only gets turned on when I'm expecting a call or need to talk to someone and don't turn it on at my place. It's pretty simple...anyone I deal with has a regular line of communication and also a burner. It's like 'Hey brother give me a call at 5' on a regular line and then...:)

Something like that.

Not trying to confuse anyone, you can but the phones and cards with cash, no questions, but you can ONLY buy cards at walmart or online (which obviously cannot be done with h cash). nearly every other phone company can be bought at any gas station or dollar store.

Peace

Walking into a gas station or store to pay cash for a phone card is the same thing as going to walmart and paying in cash. Are you alright?

Actually it is not at all if you live in a rural area and walmart is an hour plus away and your town has a gas station.

Expand your horizons.

And my opinions are stated out of comveniece, not out of safety concerns.

You can go to walmart once and buy all the phone cards that you need for the year if you wanted to. It seems like all the other phones that i used to use cost a lot more money but maybe things changed. I go over 2000 minutes on the walmart phone and its always $45 and other phones seem to charge me $10-20 every week sometimes more. I thought walmart was everywhere so i didnt know it wasnt convenient but it will be in the future with the smaller stores hitting the market.

If I had 150 for the phone io wanted, plus $540 for the year at one deal maybe I would, but how many people are looking at it like that. Plus, never know when ya gotta dump it.

Its a decent phone and good plan, just as pain in the ass sometimes. Boost is just easier for some. 50 a month unlimited (including data) plus shrinkage plan. You could get down to 35 a month.

Verizon used to be a major ass pain before the unlimited, I would blow $60 a week easy

one issue with straight talk and buying at the local wal-mart...all cards are entered and coded into the sales system...all registers are video recorded...if said person buys said card and fills said phone...then they have the ability to track were the card was sold from and see a video of said person...not making this shit up...worked for a cell company for awhile and seen them track all pre-paid cards.

folks, damn near everything we do is tracked in some way shape or form.

Oh heck I agree with that and have thought about the issue. You can always have a friend buy your phones/cards for you. Once again if they get to the point where they subpoena those video records they already have a bunch of solid shit on you. Someday though with all of the facial recognition stuff and data collection I can see how when you make a purchase the 'system' immediately knows who bought it even with cash. One day fairly soon I think cash will disappear and will be more like a debit/credit system but that's for another thread.
